Where do your guests come from?
Our guests are primarily from the United States and Canada mostly from SC, NC, TN, OH, GA, VA, PA and NY. We also have many guests from as far away as Europe and Japan.
How do you market my property?
Word of mouth continues to be one of the best marketing tools out there for spreading information. Furthermore, we are paving the way for the future by reinvesting in exceptional tools to better market your property. Marketing is about attracting consumers by giving value. Island Realty recognizes this & to enhance the guest’s experience, we have invested in yours and our future by acquiring new software pieces to make the reservation process more efficient for guests and owners. We promote our vacation rentals through web and print advertising, direct mail, email campaigns and more. We are actively working to adjust to the marketplace to help you, our business partners, succeed even more in the future!
How do I reserve my property for my personal use?
Contact your owner representative or their assistant and they will be happy to reserve your property for you. You can also fill out our Owner Booking form to submit your request to our owner representatives to reserve your property.
How do guests reserve my property?
Our Vacation Planners are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in order to book every inquiry possible to your rental property and guests can book their reservation online.
What are your check-in & check-out procedures?
Check-in time for guests as well as owners is 4:00 PM & check out time is 10:00 AM.
Guest should return keys and any pool keys or passes to our rental office. If you wish for a later check-out time please extend your stay for an additional day.
When do I receive my rental income?
We process the owner’s statements on the last working day of the month. Each statement is carefully checked and mailed by the fifth working day of the month.
How are maintenance problems handled?
We have an in-house maintenance department that will process all maintenance issues. When a problem arises, we check our records to see if you have any maintenance instructions and call the appropriate contractor to address the repair. The charges for those repairs will be included with your statement. We have a maintenance tracking system that can be customized to your needs. As always, your owner representative will keep you advised when major repairs are needed.
