This house was just as nice and under better management. Just wish it had more comfortable pillows. Very short walk to the beach. We took walks everyday. Hartnett is such a nice street to walk, ride bikes, or take a spin on your golf cart. The grocery stores were just a short drive away as well as all the attractions. Charleston is such a beautiful area. The people that live there full time are very lucky. The full time residents are very friendly. Cannot wait to come back! | | | Schiffer Family from SC, OH, GA, and MN 06/27/2010 | It is close to the beach, comfortably furnished, laid out well, located in a quiet neighborhood, nicely set up for children, lots of storage space in kitchen, has all the amenities expected of an IOP vacations house (TVs in most bedrooms, nice sound system, pool toys, etc.). The beach is one of the less crowded ones on the island, but better than further down the shoreline for young children because there is a sandbar off shore that tamps down the waves a bit at low tide. The kitchen has all of the basics, but if your family likes to cook, you might want to bring sharp knives or anything out of the ordinary such as loaf pans or muffin tins.
