The 43rd Annual Cooper River Bridge Run will take place April 4, 2020 right here in the Lowcountry! Whether you are a devoted runner or you just like going outside and being active, you don’t want to miss this race. The Cooper River Bridge Run is the 3rd largest 10k race in the country and is expecting around 40,000 people to attend! Additionally, if you are training for a marathon, this race is a Boston Marathon qualifier as well.
The race will start at 8 a.m. right off Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant. The starting line is conveniently located just a few miles away from Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s Island! Throughout the race, expect to see over 15 bands performing live…just when you thought it couldn’t get better – now you can enjoy music along with the beautiful site. You will finish the run in Downtown Charleston on the College of Charleston Campus.
After you cross the finish line it’s time to grab your medal and enjoy the “After Race Festival” in historic downtown Charleston! Fuel up on some amazing food and celebrate your successful run at Marion Square, right of King Street with entertainment, vendors, refreshments, food, and a lot of fun. Then as sunset approaches, head back to the island and unwind with the peaceful ocean views! It's sure to be a wonderful weekend!
