April Events in Charleston

April means warmer weather and the perfect time to spend outside and soak up the salty air! Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island are two of the best spots to be when visiting the Lowcountry in April. April events on Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms:

On Thursday, April 4 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., enjoy navigating through Sullivan's Island Farmers' Market! You can expect to see Charleston's local vendors selling all sorts of amazing goodies. With the 26 tents that will be set up right in front of Poe Library, browse through various vendors selling local produce, fresh seafood, art, jewelry, baked goods and much more. Enjoy the luxury of getting ready-to-bake meals and souvenirs without having to leave the island!

Who said you couldn't hop into the holiday spirit while on vacation? Starting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, bring the whole crew to hunt for Easter eggs! Located right on Isle of Palms at the IOP Recreation Department, this FREE event will be a fun morning activity that everyone in your group can enjoy. 

The Windjammer will be hosting Carolina Children's Charity Benefit on Saturday, April 27, all day long! Donations are only $5, and all money collected stay right here in Charleston! The cornhole tournament will take place in their volleyball court behind the building. For this, registration will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m., and play begins at 2 p.m. There will also be live music thoughout the afternoon and into the evening. Come on down to Front Beach for a great cause and lots of fun!
