Our group of friends booked this property for our annual Friendsgiving trip and it was PERFECT! The house was very roomy and in a perfect location. Some earlier reviews said the kitchen lacked some of the essentials for preparing meals but it appears those concerns were addressed as we found the kitchen lacking for nothing! It had plenty of cookware and utensils. We would definitely book again!

Great stay with friends. Plenty of space to spread out. Walk to everything, even the beach! Only draw back was the pool closes on October 15th, which we weren't aware of when booked. It was in the 80's and we couldn't use it.

Overall, the week was excellent. The weather was perfect. The house location/proximity to the beach, coffee shops, restaurants & bars is fantastic. You can even hear the bands from The Windjammer if you're outside. What needs some focus/help is the kitchen area.....very few kitchen items to work with when putting together meals....nothing that a quick Target run by the owner couldn't fix:) Additionally, the pool light wasn't on the entire time we were there. I reached out and was told that was an HOA issue, not rental company issue. I understand the response, but it's not helpful to us renters. I would've expected the rental company to get with the HOA to have it handled. There are no posted times anywhere for the pool, so it would be assumed that you could use it after dark. Kids love the pool. But once the sun sets at 8:30pm, it's unsafe. This needs correcting. What can't be directly fixed is the lack of 'hang space' for adults. The deck is tiny, and since there are no pool lights you can't hang out there.

- maximum guests stated 16 yet there was only beds for 14!
-more kitchen towels could have been provided!
-maintenance was quick to respond to our slow bathtub Drain and Tv with lines running throw it. Tv was replaced.
- pair of women’s underwear was found on staircase when we arrived.
-toilet seat in downstairs bath off hallway was loose, I tightened with screwdriver!
It’s a beach house and I understand, but it could use some tlc in a few areas. Kitchen cabinets, wood floors. Toilet paper holder in bathroom missing. Knob on washer pulls off when you want to start it, should be fixed!
When I reported the women’s underwear on the stairwell I was told that the cleaning people probably dropped it after gathering items left behind!!! Not a good answer!!!! Just glad I found it and not my grandkids!

Overall we enjoyed the house!

The property is in a good location however I would not rent this home again. 1) The 7th bedroom (twin beds) located on the 2nd floor really isn’t a true bedroom. It doesn’t have a closet and you have to go to one of the rooms to access the bathroom. 2) The carpets in the bedrooms are quite dirty and need to be cleaned. 3) the jack and Jill bathroom only one of the sinks worked. The other was clogged and the water in shower took forever to drain. The house has potential but needs some updating and a good cleaning.

Overall, location to amenities, restaurants, beach were good. Everyone had a good time. Inside rooms need refreshing, ie painting. Some beds not so comfortable. Shower curtains need to be replaced often. Outside porch very small. We did not feel it was worth the rental price. Also did not encounter any problems

Our Vacation at 8 10th Street for our family of 15 was wonderful. The proximity to the beach was great! The neighborhood pool worked out well-it was never crowded and we actually had it to ourselves most of the time.
The house was clean and in good shape unpin arrival. The staff at the rental management company was helpful with the few issues that we had. I would recommend this house for a large family-we had 15-8 adults and 7 children.

The house was perfect for a group of 5 couples with little kids. Great location and plenty of bedrooms. House was bare bones (eg no beach chairs/towels/umbrellas, salt/pepper, 1 bath towel per person). We had a nice stay and this house is definitely priced accordingly to the slightly outdated nature. Cleaning could have been better (sand all over floors when we arrived, uncleaned bath mats, cigarette butts along stairs into house). Additionally, very difficult to get in touch with management company- didn't answer phone calls, respond to vrbo message, only finally answered with a text a couple days later. As long as you don’t actually need the rental company to help if something breaks, it is probably fine. For the income I am sure the rental company makes- they should be doing better! For reference, we own our own beach house in Florida.

If the house sleeps 10 there are 10 sets of towels provided. We are sorry to hear that you found it difficult to reach us. Perfect location as we were close to the beach for daily walks and great restaurants! Home was roomy. Inside furniture was comfortable! Perfect for our winter escape and having visitors. In need of a little TLC with regards to rugs and paint and hardwood floors on main level. Maintenance/Management company were extremely responsible and professional!

Our rental home at Isle of Palms had everything that we needed for an extended family of 13. Restaurants and other shops were located nearby. Easy access to the city of Charlestown, etc. We will be back again.

We were there on a women’s golf trip and had a great time! The house is beautiful and very clean. Very close to all the cool little restaurants. The only negative thing about this house is that you cannot set the air conditioning below 71°. It didn’t fare well with some of the ladies that like it a little cooler at night. And the porch is really small for such a big house but we went to the pool and hung out instead. The 7th bedroom with the “little” beds isn’t large enough for adults but great for kids.

Yes in some homes there are limits on how low the AC can go to prevent the unit from freezing up with the humidity. This homes does have 2 hvac units to cool. This beautiful house is in a great location for restaurants and the beach. Six of the bedrooms are spacious and one ideal for two children. Our group of 8 older ladies loved the kitchen and living area which was ideal for just hanging out together. We would love to make this a yearly visit and highly recommend it.

The location of the house is great with just a short 5 minutes walk to the beach. Plenty of plates and cups for guests to utilize. There's a few broken blinds here and there that need to be replaced as well as warped pots and pans. Overall, the house is adequate. Needs a pool table or something as it was lacking amenities. Pool closes mid October so expect to hear neighbors enjoying their own personal pool while you sit outside on the tiny deck of this house. There's little to no outdoor space at this house.

Our stay at this beach house was very relaxing. The home is very beautiful and roomy. All the bedrooms were comfortable and the home was clean. It was located just a block from the beach access path. It is right off the main strip with just a short walk to shops and restaurants. We had a very enjoyable stay in this home.

Great location near center of IOP activity, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. If you love porches not the best. Great parking (3 inside a garage and room for 3-4 more in driveway). Only issue we had was ice maker did not make much ice, and the racks and bins in the freezer are not sturdy and should probably be replaced. Good A/C on both levels.

The house was better than in person than from the pictures. There is a lot more space than what it seems to be. Very open and homey for a nice little trip to the beach. The house had all the things needed/ kitchen utensils and other dishes. Would have liked access to the pantry to store food in, but understand sometimes you need closed access to things when you rent out a home. Everything was just very nice and I am so impressed with renting through island reality. They were always quick to respond and help out when needed.

Our family group of 13 enjoyed our stay in this rental where we had room to be together for meals and activities and bedrooms to get away for privacy. May 25-June 8, 2019. Accurate description of house. Very clean, attractive interior and decor. appeared updated and recently painted.7 bedrooms adequately furnished with comfortable beds.comfortable living room, dining table and kitchen. our kids loved the community pool which was usually empty, (altho early in season). Very positive experience with this home and location. a few concerns: WiFi in house weak for phone usage except on porch and in rear of home. Living room tv only one used so cannot asses function of others in bedrooms. Shortage of pantry space for our goods. Too many plates and glasses and only 4 cereal bowls. The porch can only seat five.
Overall, Hugely satisfied and brief walk to great beach.

Comfortable place that affords fun with great friends. Home sleeps 5 couples in fine style, with private bathrooms for each bedroom. Communal pool in center of multiple neighborhood homes provides good space for relaxing, as well. Three items that could be better:
1. Though there were tv sets in each bedroom (plus the living room, of course), we had no luck getting them to work. Help!
2. Small porch off of living room is too tight for a group of our size to sit outside together.
3. Beds are squeaky and need attention.

House was fine. Clean and well maintained. Location is very good for us. Little problem with ghost ants (they call them that in Florida) in kitchen, which wasn’t responded to via text to office. Overall good stay would consider this property again in 2019.

We had 6 couples for a long weekend. Everything was perfect!! So close to the beach, restaurants, shops, anything you needed. The House was beautiful, spacious, and even though we had 12 people, the noise did not travel, so all could relax. Will definitely rent again
