Large primary suite was modern, updated with a dressing room closet. We loved the spaciousness of this home and it’s large kitchen. Plenty of space outside for cars and golf carts. It was spotless when we arrived with sample complimentary supplies to get us started before getting to the store. The entire home has nice decor and I expecially enjoyed looking at the varied landscaping. The leather couches were comfortable although Sat lower to the ground than I prefer but everything else was great. (4/5 stars) I used to live in Mount Pleasant and this is the second time we stayed at this property. We love the house but the couches need replaced. You literally slide right off them and are so uncomfortable! The entire outside of the home needs to be taken care of. The outdoor furniture and all areas of the porch and railings were covered in mold and the stairs up to the front door need replaced. The plants by the door were dead and leaking brown liquid all over the porch.The manager was great for sending someone out to wash off the furniture and remove the dead plants. (5/5 stars) We stayed for a month from mid February to mid March. House had everything we needed. Lots of items for the beach, too. Plenty of space, comfortable beds and quiet neighborhood that’s only minutes walk to the beach. The only thing we would change or recommend replacing are the couch and loveseat. They are both very low and deep which makes it hard to get in and out of. They are also both very worn. We did have a problem with the upstairs AC not working, but the maintenance crew was great and replaced the compressor so it was working very quickly. Kitchen has everything you need to bake and cook. Keurig and drip coffee makers too. Highly recommend!! - Anonymous Posted on 3/15/2026 ### Great time with Old...ahem, longtime friends! (4/5 stars) Spent a winter week with at 25 25th with folks we have been friends with for over 30 years but due to distance don’t see as often as we like. The house was almost perfect for us. First floor bedroom was great for me and my bad knee, the two large dining tables meant we could use for eating and the other allowed one of the friends who hasn’t retired (poor thing) to spread out and do work some of the time. Good (almost) great kitchen )with both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker even though the description says only the drip) so we ate in almost the whole time. Nice screen porch and deck with seating and grill. Our only issues were the steep steps into the unit, the low and deep furniture in the living space, and the need to run the dishwasher a lot due to being minimal flatware. If you’re a wine snob, you ought to bring your own wine glasses as there are only plastic ware. If you’re coming for a vacation and intend to go to the beach everyday, be advised it’s a long three blocks to the beach plus the long trail from the road to the water. It is well furnished with nice kitchen utensils and pans. The house is a three block walk to the beach on a quiet side street. Grocery shopping is a two minute drive with a few nice restaurants close by. There is also a park with playground, tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts two blocks away. We didn't use the ping pong table down stairs but it looked like it was in good shape. We especially like the wrap around porch and screened in porches which are perfect to enjoy the evening. My 14 yo was extremely exited about the basketball goal. We used the beach wagon twice. We were disappointed that we didn't have a chance to use one of the 2 grills & 2 fire pits. Great gathering spaces & welcoming kitchen, beautifully furnished, but lots of privacy for the "kids" upstairs. About a 10 min walk to the beach. Easy to get downtown or to Sullivan's for a meal. Island Realty was super helpful w/late check-in due to traffic on 95. While the main part of the house would get very cold, the master bedroom was like a sauna (should have known when we saw two fans stationed on both sides of bed). There was no air conditioning in the main bedroom, main bath or closet. also air conditioning to 2nd floor bedrooms struggled to keep up on the real feel days of 100+ all week.Place could use some real wine glasses as no one wants to drink wine out of a plastic cup. Screened in porch had a musty smell probably due to the rug on the floor constantly getting wet in thunderstorms. It was our first time there and we loved being able to walk to the ocean for sunrise and how close it is to the grocery and restaurants. We made the mistake of walking to dinner (ACME) our first night, which is physically not a long trip, but the main roads are poorly lit at night and very busy. Besides walking the beach there is only one main road to get from the house to the restaurants/bars/shopping by foot. As someone who loves to walk when I travel, I had perused Google Maps and checked out distances, but didn't realize the main road was so heavily traveled. Just a heads up for anyone like me! The beds were comfy, lots of sitting areas inside and outside, a beautiful yard with shade trees and birds to enjoy. The kitchen was well-appointed for our daily breakfasts. The neighborhood is very quiet and relaxed. NOT a party place. (5/5 stars) This rental is just perfect. Beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms. Great screened in porch and deck areas. It couldn't be more perfect. My only suggestion: provide a wagon for carting items to the beach. The beach access is at the end of the street, which is convenient, but it is a good walk when your hands are full. (Noted in description). You also have the choice of driving and parking at the beach access, which we did. In the off season parking is not a problem. Porches are great, and house is very large for a three bedroom, plenty of space and well equipped. Though beach chair and umbrella were not promised, we appreciated that there were some we could use. Some downsides were not related to the house but to service from Island Realty. Some of which was fast and great, but some definitely impacted our stay: -Biggest thing: one of the fire alarms apparently is sensitive to humidity. As a result, it went off and we had to get maintenance to come. They determined it was fine but it later went off again after hours and they neither sent someone that night nor even replied to our call. If I hadn't stacked up furniture and stood on it to pull down the alarm, we couldn't have stayed in the house that night because it was so loud. That seemed kind of crazy given how much we had paid for the stay. -Small stuff like AC not being adjustable until we got maintenance to come, or not having info about how to turn off big floodlights outside the house. Plenty of room for a family to enjoy. We loved the screen porch in the morning. Kitchen has all the necessary equipment. It was great with extra refrigerator space in the laundry room. A very quiet street with a large back yard. Only negative is the bedrooms get hot when the doors are closed.
