The living room, dining room, and kitchen are filled with natural light and all overlook the pool and deck area, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere throughout the home. The dining room features a large oversized table with ample seating for memorable family meals and gatherings. The main floor offers four bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. Two guest bedrooms with queen beds share a bathroom, while a third guest room featuring a queen and twin bed includes a private bathroom with a shower. The spacious primary suite features an ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in shower and direct access to the pool deck. Above the garage, tucked away at the end of the hall for added privacy, is a second-floor bedroom with three twin beds — perfect for kids or additional guests. For entertainment, the home offers large flat-screen TVs in the living room and every bedroom. It is the first time that our family has stayed in a house and not a condo. It was a very spacious home with just the right amount of bedrooms, a large living and dining room and a fabulous kitchen. Oh, and the pool was what sold us! The children were in it all the time! We did like having the outdoor shower after being at the beach, but it needs a better walkway to get to the deck and pool. (4/5 stars) Incredible location, so close to the beach! Mornings on the beach, afternoons in the pool, low tide walks at night. Great shelling beach. Spacious inside. We had 7 adults & 4 young kids with plenty of space to spread out & a large, very well equipped kitchen. We cooked all week (after cleaning the grill grates for fresh, local shrimp on skewers). Bonus dishwasher for a large group was indispensable. Very clean throughout although the pots, pans & dinnerware got a good scrub before use. Easy drive to Charleston a few times-just know trying to get back between 5-7pm can take up to 1.5 hours. Would have put overall 5 stars, but we ALL ended up using the master shower as the other 2 baths had low water pressure & were literally falling apart with towel bars & tp holders pulling out of the walls & toilet seats falling off. Definitely needs bathroom updates. The mattresses were very uncomfortable It seems like they need to be replaced. There is plenty of space for us all to watch a movie or put together a puzzle. The kitchen was fully stocked with cups, utensils, baking wear, plates, and a pantry for all our snacks. You can just walk to the beach and setup for the day, or quick drive to North Charleston for shopping. We had some young kids with us and the pool offered them something to do when we were making supper. The property is well loved which was perfect for our busy families. The property is in a great location to the golf course and to the beach. There is lots of space inside the home to move around. This house is a nice find with 5 bedrooms but the loft bedroom with 3 twins doesn't have a door and it gets very hot in the summer. AC came out to inspect and said it was working fine. The pool stayed cool in the summer and was great. The deck area needs attention (exposed nails- hasn't been stained in many years). The kitchen was well stocked and the bedding was good. The house looks worn down compared to the pictures. The inside needs painted, lots of banged up walls and missing paint. The rugs need cleaned in the living room. The pictures online show clean new rugs, nice outside paint & deck so I'm guessing were taken years ago. I know it's a rental but for Island Realty standards, I would think more work would be put into maintaining the standard of this nice home. Well-equipped kitchen, ice maker in the bar area. Even had baby gates and high chair for my youngest grand daughter! It slept my whole family comfortably. My pre-teen daughter and her friend loved the loft area. It has a nice, short walk to the beach, and fantastic pool to relax and play in after coming in. The walk to the beach was a little further than I expected, but I think that's only because I'm not used to SC beach and the massive dunes/ distance between the shoreline and build line. It's definitely walk-able, but if we had kids with us it would've been a hike w/ all of the "stuff" kids require. We mostly ended up using the BEAUTIFUL pool. Even though the pool backs up to a road,we barely heard any traffic because of the gorgeous palm trees that surround the pool (and make for a fun photo backdrop!) We had a chef come in to make dinner for us one night and she was pleasantly surprised with how well-appointed the kitchen was. All around, Island Realty was easy to work with and professional.
