They were quite old and had dog hair or silver hair stains on them. It would have been better to use faux leather or another material instead of the cloth. The garbage disposal also had a strong smell that we had to mask with candles. The beach in front of the Windjammer can get crowded so you have the option to walk a little south to get away from the crowds. The location was close to lots of restaurants and shopping. There was easy access to the beach. The house was clean and spacious. The location was excellent, the bedding arrangement was perfect (and comfy beds, too), and the kitchen was stocked with all the items we needed except a good wine opener. We had an issue with the AC toward the end of the week, however the maintenance team was able to resolve the issue by contact an AC company within a few short minutes. (3/5 stars) The house was in a great location on the island and on any other week probably would have been absolutely perfect, however, there was constant work being done around the property and surrounding properties for the entire week. Fencing being torn down and replaced, digging trenches, etc. This resulted in the driveway being blocked on several occasions and limited the privacy that I thought we would have. A heads up would have been greatly appreciated so that expectations could have been adjusted. The only other disappointment was the grill at the property was absolutely worn out. The house was beautifully decorated and in a great location right across the street from the beach. The elevator was conveniently used to send our luggage and grocery bags up. We enjoyed sitting on the decks to hear the free live entertainment every night thx to the Windjammer across the street..but it was done by 10:00 pm so it did not disturb us. We especially loved that we had plenty of room for our family to cook and enjoy a meal w/seating around the large dining table. There was only one wine glass in the cupboard (the rest must’ve been broken from prior guests) & when I messaged the manager about it, I was pleasantly surprised to find a box of wine glasses left at the front door the next day.
