Overall, the unit is very nice, but I found two issues I did not like. The TV in the Master Bedroom is located in a large cabinet that can't be viewed from the bed, for me that is the only reason to have a TV in a bedroom. The back bedrooms should be reversed. The room with the Queen bed is in the room with a door that opens into the hall. The only three complaints were the TV was very small and did not have any Movie channels to watch. Only some type of local movie tv and regular cable. Too many breakable nick nacks for young children and white slip covers on very large furniture.Older visitors will need grab bars in bathrooms, and toilet tissue nearly impossible to reach when toilet is in use. Queen bed is so high this 76-year-old could hardly get in the bed. Finally after spending over $5k to rent the place for a week, I had to spend $10 to buy two batteries for one of the TV remote controls that had no batteries. In general, too much large furniture in the unit. Good: very quiet and adequate hvac. Nice appliances. Walking distance to everything we like. The beach was not crowded on the week days but the weekend was a little tight. Kitchen was well supplied with basic utensils, basically everything you need is there. The drawer with silverware in it is hard to open and close! We had a problem with the kitchen sink backing up when we ran the dishwasher. It leaked all over the floor but 1 call to the office and they sent someone to fix it. Our SIL sat in one of the chairs at the outside table and nearly hit the ground. It was very rusted and unsafe. The maintenance guy took it when he fixed the sink so we were short a chair all week. They need to update the family room TV. It’s way too small. They should put that one in the bedroom with twin beds since it doesn’t have one!All in all nice stay for us. Very spacious and comfortable. walking distance to everything we like. Short drive to Harris Teeter, fresh seafood at Simmons and best steaks at the Butcher Block.The beach was not crowded but it was over Thanksgiving Holiday. Kitchen was well supplied with basic utensils. Bring a can opener, basically everything else you need is there. If you use the coffee pot make sure it pushed all the way over the burner or it will fill up the utensil drawer with coffee underneath it. Check in process was a little annoying. We didn’t rent a car and I had asked a day earlier for an earlier check due to the fact we would be taking an Uber from airport to island called from the airport to be told they weren’t sure if property was ready and they would call if it was. No call so we went to rental office (which is only about 3 blocks from the condo). And of course the condo is ready but now we had to walk with all our luggage like I said a little annoying!! Only other complaint was the towel accommodations. No beach or pool towels and only 1 towel per guest (which seems very low). (5/5 stars) We had a fabulous week at Isle of Palms in our unit in Ocean Blvd 1140 #303. The view was the best we've ever had - right in front of the ocean. The location can't be beat. We were in walking distance of great restaurants and little shops. I was worried that it would be noisy since we were right in the thick of things, but the condo was very quiet. The living area was the best room in the place, with plenty of seating for 6 adults. If I have anything negative to say, it's that the WiFi kept going in and out -- very frustrating. This is a perfect location! Beach is RIGHT THERE, a pool for kids, good restaurants and grocery stores in waking distance. Charleston is a short and easy 30 minute drive. (5/5 stars) This condo unit was unbelievably quiet, as it is nestled in the busiest section of IOP. I was pleasantly surprised at how peaceful, and what a great view from the balcony! The unit is tastefully decorated and excellent cookware. We love the condo, the view, the furnishings.. It's home away from home. A few things we need to mention, though. The balcony metal chairs were rusty and left rust on our clothes, the bathroom doors did not lock. Also the couch/ bed was broken down. We would still rent this unit again and we could have called maintenance about the bed. Third (top) floor view of the ocean. 3 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. This place was spectacular and spacious. Did I mention the parking garage and elevator. (4/5 stars) Overall the property was very nice in the perfect location on the beach! It is showing it's age and needs work. The bathrooms need to be remodeled as well as the kitchen. They could use new appliances and a new dryer. We had to keep turning the dryer on about 4 times for each load in order to get everything dried. The balcony furniture is very old and stained and needs to be replaced. For the price, they could have kept it up a bit more; but the location is very nice. - Anonymous Posted on 8/22/2016 ### Family Vacation (4/5 stars) We are happy with our stay in this condo building and in this specific unit. Overall, the condo is clean, neat and clearly well-cared for. The decor is comfortable and pleasant. There are a few items that are showing signs of aging and in need of repair (overhead kitchen light and non-locking dishwasher, vertical blinds on the slider doors that dropped pieces all week) but they didn't detract from our very pleasant vacation.
