Location was excellent, layout was good. Island Realty’s maintenance team took care of all of the items we had upon arrival (dirty oven and shower curtains mildewed; sinks not draining in both bathrooms). It is a unit that has apparently not been updated in decades. I had to wash every item we used. This just wasn’t Island Realty’s usual rental quality. It was a short walk to the shops and the state park. - Anonymous Posted on 6/28/2026 ### Oceanside C109 (2/5 stars) We like the location of this condo, we have stayed here in years past and enjoyed our stay, but now appliances such as stove only having one burner operating on the stove top, refrigerator needed to be reset by us and then sit for 24 hours before operating correctly and cooling. Of course we had already purchased all our food unknowing the refrigerator was not operational when we arrived. Seems someone from island reality maintenance would check these things before a renter is in the condo. The blinds in the master bedroom were not able to be open or closed for the whole window allowing a lot of light in at night. Mattress on the queen bed in the 2nd room needs to be replaced as it is sagging in the middle, making a comfortable sleep very difficult. The property was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies, adequate bedding, comfortable mattresses, closet space, and lots of seating. All appliances seemed to work well. We have stayed in several of these condos and this one did need to be updated, especially the flooring and living room furniture but the master shower seemed new. We bought a shower mat as the shower floor seemed a bit slick. We noticed the breezeway entering the condo needed to be cleaned. The inside of the oven door had not been cleaned where someone had spilled food but it cleaned off quickly. (5/5 stars) This was the first time that our family stayed in Oceanside Building C. Our first floor condo overlooking the road and Sea Cabin Villas was lovely. We enjoyed the layout of the living room, including its two recliners and the table that seated six. The beds were very comfortable too! We had a few things that didn't work and should be fixed for future renters. They are: the garbage disposal in the kitchen sink and the bathroom fan in the master bath. Neither worked at all. The frig doors, also, were not hung well and we had to give them an extra push to close, every time. Never knew for certain if I was talking to Island Realty, an answering service or call center. Finally got a call back from a repair service and a tech repaired the A/C at 11PM. Excellent repair service and the friendly tech made sure we were ok. For our family of 4, it was a good size. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes. Master bedroom was comfortable. The quick walk to the beach was perfect for the sunrises, which were beautiful! The area was nice and quiet. A few things we were disappointed in: the twin bed in the second bedroom was so loud with every little move, our son had to sleep on the couch the last night of our stay--please consider replacing it for future guests! Our second night there, I was greeted by a lone roach when I walked into the master. Didn't see any others, but it sure made us leery the rest of the stay. This was my first experience renting an umbrella and chair from Island Realty prior to my visit. Unfortunately, the first day, the chair and umbrella were not on the beach and I had to call the rental company as I was unable to get your company on the phone. The second day, I couldn't find the umbrella and chair as different groups of people had separated them and were using them. It would be helpful if the rental placed the name of the renter on the umbrella as they do the chair. Several people were complaining of the same as I searched for my rental. Again, I had to call the rental company. We also saw our first roach in the rental. Otherwise, the rental was clean and enjoyable. We will return for future visits. Not a good location for nightlife. My wife and I love it for numerous reasons. Most importantly is the first floor location, second would be the balcony. It's perfect for sitting and people watching because it's right at the Park beach access. - Anonymous Posted on 9/10/2015 ### Return Guests with some minor issues (4/5 stars) We are return guests. Basically, things were acceptable as usual. I did find a half eaten sandwich in a trash can and some damp towels in one of the bathrooms, behind the door. So I wonder if unit was cleaned prior to our visit. Half of the washers in the laundry facilities were out of order. Some customers were forced to do laundry off site. Also, we had to find out about recycling services by accident. (4/5 stars) We enjoyed our stay except for the people in the above unit was not respectful of noises after 8-9pm. There should be some kind of rules about noise ordinance. Also, the pull out bed was super thin and uncomfortable. Proper extra lining for that bed would have been appropriate. Over all nice new update looked great. It would be nice to have a laundry mat on the Oceanside villa property. This was our 5th year there and love it as always. Just these few things would be nice to be changed.
