### wonderful family vacation (5/5 stars)
We stayed in the same house as last year, and had a wonderful time. It is worth it to stay in a house right on the ocean, so you can always watch it. We liked it so much, we rented the same house again for 2027.

### Heaven on the Beach (5/5 stars)
What a wonderful house! Roomy, comfortable, well-equipped, close to shopping, all with a peaceful, gentle feel about it. We could not have found a better place for our family Christmas gathering. Perfect, aside from a few sneezes from our mold-sensitive family members - probably in the couch and easliy remedied. The porch out back is perfect for watching the sun rise and long conversations. The one maintenance glitch on Christmas Eve day was VERY quickly rectified! We will be back!!

### Thanksgiving Vacation (4/5 stars)
This is our third year staying out this house for Thanksgivinv. We love this home because of the location and large backyard. The general layout of the house is great. However, and I say this every time, the kitchen is in desperate need of a remodel. It is old and dated. If the rest of the house wasn't so wonderful, we wouldn't stay here, Also, it is also disappointing that you invest so much on a beachfront rental to only receive cheap towels and thin sheets. You get one towel per person for your stay (we were there 10 days) and the sheets were of the cheapest quality. All in all, I can not stress how spectacular the view is from this home and why, despite the downsides, we keep going back.

### Fall Family Gathering (5/5 stars)
In spite of 4 days of rain, we had a lovely time at 2106 Palm Ave. Games, puzzles, immaculate, clean comfortable beds and bedding, well-equipped kitchen, and well furnished for a family gathering. More bath towels would be nice but we managed with our beach towels and laundry. I would recommend this property to anyone.

### Inviting, Fresh and Spotless Beach Home (5/5 stars)
What a perfect beach week! This warm and inviting home was fresh and spotless when we arrived. All appeared recently painted, plus cleaned and sanitized - ultra important for our very sensitive allergic family member and asthmatic friend. A previous review seen after our booking had raised some questions. Michelle at Island Realty was proactive about our concerns before we arrived. She reported attention had been given to the complaints and all was resolved. Thank you Michelle and Island Realty, and thank you for a classic house that gave us a memorable IOP getaway! ### Beautiful house, but serious mold issues must be remedied (3/5 stars)
Our family (visiting from 3 different states) had a very enjoyable week at this lovely house. Unfortunately, more than halfway into our week, we realized that the house has some serious mold issues (looks like black mold). This was first brought to our attention by a family member who noticed a significant amount of black spots on the ceiling of the main floor bedroom (closest to the kitchen), and he noticed that his allergies and nasal issues seemed to be flaring up since his arrival. The maintenance team was very responsive and did clean the ceiling the same day we called (they also took care of a few hornet nests on the front porch area). Unfortunately, the next day, we started noticing mold spots throughout the house -- most noticeably on the main level around the back doors (kitchen/dining room/living room areas), in the corners/crevices of the wood wall paneling, and around outlet areas. Upon closer inspection, we also noticed the same black mold fuzz and markings on the second level, around the sitting room and in the bedroom. We called to inform the realty office and spoke with Michelle, emphasizing that we believed that there was a serious mold issue that is probably behind much of the wood wall paneling throughout the house. At that point, it was too late in the week to request a move to another property. We were disappointed to discover the mold issue, because we found the house to be lovely and would have even considered renting it again. The rooms were well furnished and we especially loved all of the generous seating in the kitchen/dining room areas, as well as the thoughtful decorations throughout the house.

### wonderful family vacation (5/5 stars)
2106 Palm Blvd is an awesome house! So awesome, in fact, that we reserved it again for 2026. The location is great, it had everything my family needed. The view of the ocean is fantastic. We never rented a house with an elevator before, but it really helped both moving in and out, and a family member who had physical difficulties. One of the many reasons we selected this house is the number of bedrooms and bathrooms - it is nicer to have separate bathrooms. The house has a peaceful feeling.

### Beautiful house with a view! (5/5 stars)
Our large family had very comfortable accommodations. We had ever needed and steps away from the beautiful beach.

### Perfect beach house for large groups (5/5 stars)
House is amazing! Screened back porch was everyone’s favorite place to hang out. Great location in IOP, great ocean views and great floor plan layout. Loved eating at extra long dining table. Very comfy, cozy house!! Highly recommend. Our group will definitely be back.

### Awesome 10 Days (5/5 stars)
We had a great family time. This home is set up well for lots of people. We loved the porch - weather could have been a bit warmer but that is out of everyone's control :). Had a few maintenance issues but Island Realty was very responsive. Would recommend bedding with sheets surrounding a light quilt like most hotels used today. Bedspreads these days that are not washed between guests are out of date. That is just a suggestion and is not meant to detract from this amazing home. This was our first time on the ocean. We have stayed at IOP many times and we all loved staying on the beach. Wonderful family week filled with many memories. Highly recommend.

### Perfect house for a family gathering! (5/5 stars)
This was a perfect place for our rare gathering of our three grown children, their spouses , and our three grandchildren 2 and under. With everyone having a beautiful bedroom and their own bathrooms, they could have privacy and sleep on their own schedules. There were so many different areas to gather but our favorite was the beachfront screened porch. Due to tropical storm rain the week before almost every beach access path on IOP was flooded but ours was high and dry due to great boardwalk path. House was generously outfitted with everything we needed to feed everyone at the table for 12. Our 30-something’s could walk to get preferred items at grocery store, seafood store, and liquor store but we might have well been in the middle of nowhere once we got side the house and porch. Views everywhere. We never turned on any of the many TVs. Loved the outdoor shower, hose, and carts/supplies under the house. In short, we loved this house, felt it was well worth the price, and hope to return some day. We highly recommend it.

### 2106 Palm Blvd (5/5 stars)
The entire rental experience was phenomenal, from making and adjusting the dates, to the actual stay. The house was perfect - not too haughty, plenty of room, and a great porch with ocean view and breeze. The location was great, too - right near the grocery store, and a short drive to some really good restaurants (we recommend the Sea Biscuit Cafe). Would definitely rent with this agency again, and try to stay in the same house!

### Very Good Stay at 2106 Palm Blvd (4/5 stars)
Our family of 10 spent 6 nights at 2106 in mid-March. Overall, we had a very good experience and would stay here again. The location is excellent, very central, the house and its layout excellent for 4 couples with 4 young children. We are cooks, so the following are cooking comments:- The large dining table was excellent for our group- Good cookware in the kitchen, decent dishes and glasses; could use more plastic dishes and cups for kids- Proximity to Harris Tweeter grocery store is fantastic!- Great gas grill on porch- Per previous comments, the electric stove is fiddly and in need of replacement- The utility room sink next to the kitchen is very handy- There were no condiments of any sort, not even salt & pepper. Highly recommend owner provide S&P, cooking oils, flour, sugar, but plan on buying everything you will need to cook.Note that there will be no beach towels, you have to provide your own or use the house bath towels. Island Realty should consider making beach towels part of the linen package.Island Realty support was very good. There was no stereo in the house, and insufficient nightlights. They bought and provided them which was really nice.If you will be checking in late, after dark, be sure to request that outside lights be turned on. It was pitch black when we arrived and that caused difficulties. But overall, a great stay in a very nice house. We will return!

### Review of 2106 Palm Blvd (5/5 stars)
Good Morning.I notified your front office of these concerns when checking out: 1) the front left bedroom (with the flip flop comforters) has a musty smell that is most prevalent when you walk in the room. The folks occupying that room moved to a different room because they were coughing at night. We wanted to share this information in case there is a leak or some other issue that needs to be addressed. 2) we noticed a hole in the bottom of the freezer drawer. We've stayed at this location for 9+ years and love the cottage. We have already booked it for 2025 -- just want you to be aware of these concerns.

### Perfect Beach House for a Family Gathering (5/5 stars)
Well appointed six bedroom beach house. Two beautiful porches and easy access to grocery stores and restaurants.

### Very comfortable house for a large family! (5/5 stars)
Wonderful property that will accommodate a large family. Well equipped kitchen. Very clean and well maintained. Elevator is helpful. Great screened porch. Our only complaint is that the beach access is challenging, as the boardwalk runs out, and one has to climb up steep sand to get to the beach. Better parking this year with the overgrown bushes gone. Liked that the trash and re-cycling cans were under the house instead of in the driveway. Appreciate your fixing the door on the screen porch.

### Amazing! (5/5 stars)
It was the perfect location, and the house was amazing. Great size for our family, and we loved the back porch and vicinity to the beach. It was perfect, and we'd definitely stay again.

### Winter Retreat (5/5 stars)
Our 8th year in this wonderful house. Perfect for a large group with plenty of quiet space for each guest. Love the beach walks in winter

### Beautiful home! (4/5 stars)
We had a wonderful stay in the great house. The house is perfect except for the kitchen, which is in desperate need of an update, especially with new appliances. We loved the general layout of the house which allowed the kids to be upstairs and the adults downstairs. The elevator worked, which was huge! And, the porch & view were the best things about the entire place!I gave 4 out of 5 stars because the kitchen was such a nightmare to use. The stove was impossible, the bottom tray of the dishwasher always came off track with the dishwasher barely cleaning, and the freezer door always got stuck. If it had not been Thanksgiving it might not have been as big of a deal, but it made for a challenging week.

### Palm Blvd 2106 (5/5 stars)
We had to leave our initial house due to a septic issue. Our property manager was outstanding. Kept us updated, found a great new house for us (Palm Blvd 2106), and followed up.

### Lovely home! (4/5 stars)
Truly beautiful, well laid out home! Beautiful large screened in back porch with plenty of seating. Large kitchen with utensils, pots and pans galore! While beautiful, the home does need updates to furnishings as couches and mattresses were HORRIBLE! The foundations under the mattresses were very LOUD and would wake you if you moved during the night. Also the private beach walkway was terrible! No handrails and part of it as you approached the dune was extremely high off the ground. Once you reached the dune you were in the sand climbing way up and then running over the top to get to the beach. We considered it to be dangerous for falls, splinters etc. Both neighbors on each side have brand new beachwalks that extend over the dune, and allowed us to use theirs. We enjoyed ourselves, but sure would have slept much better, and relaxed more had the couches and mattresses been updated and more comfortable. PLEASE invest in new couches, and mattresses!!

### Awesome Winter IOP Stay (5/5 stars)
We always like winter at the beach. No crowds, no heat, no traffic. I don’t like using VRBO etc as the surprises are never good. Island Realty excelled in service, communications, and property. Thank YOU! The home was pristine and very well furnished. The kitchen was ready for an army x- Thanks!!

### Great Family Vacation Home (5/5 stars)
This is a great house for a large family gathering. The view is wonderful. The elevator was especially nice for those who have problems with stairs. Pleased with the well stocked kitchen, also. We will definitely stay here again.

### 2106 Palm Blvd-Needs an Update! (2/5 stars)
The location was great! You could easily walk or bike to stores nearby. It was beachfront, so the beach was similarly nearby. However, access to the beach was somewhat challenging because unlike all the properties on both sides of us which had nice steps & a hangout area to access the beach, the walkway to the beach ended before you got to the dunes & it was quite challenging climbing up & over as the sand was loose & slid down as you climbed & also made the way down a bit of a challenge. Particularly hard carrying a child or chairs. The house was nice & spacious, but for the price of $15,000 a week we definitely expected what you'd consider a luxury house & this house did not deliver! We rented a similar house on 41st a block from beach in 2019 for one fourth the cost which was updated & in so much better condition. The kitchen is badly in need of an update. The cabinets were scuffed & beat up. The waterflow in the sink was almost nonexistent. The refrigerator door was similarly showing age, both in appearance & the fact it wouldn't stay closed without a very stiff push. The lower part of the freezer would not keep things frozen. The stove had to be serviced while we were there & we had to reset the breaker several times. The dryer had to run multiple cycles to dry & the washer made a lot of noise & vibrated the upstairs on the spin cycle. Back porch was lovely, but similarly could use an update of stain or paint & cushions. House would have maybe been ok at a third of the price but could really use some updating!Absolutely would not recommend this property at anywhere near the price we paid!!

### 2106 Palm Blvd (5/5 stars)
House is wonderful with great location. Mattress in first floor mattress is way too soft. Parents moved to a bedroom upstairs and then some of the kids were complaining. Water pressure in the kitchen sink is very low.House is well laid out. Furniture is good. Back porch is good.Family had a good time.

### Cox Family 2021 (5/5 stars)
We all had a wonderful time. The porch on the back of the house was screened and had great furniture. We spent so much time out there. The rooms were all a generous size we never felt like we were crowded even while together. The kitchen was the most complete I have ever seen in a rental. Which was great because we had a coookie bake off competition.

Had a blast!

### Great location (4/5 stars)
The house was nice and the location was perfect. Our only complaint was the cooktop needs to be replaced.....all eyes did not function properly and the letters/numbers around the controls are mostly gone so it is a trial and error process in operating them. The water pressure in the kitchen was terrible. It was fine in all the bathrooms though.

### Wonderful Oceanfront Home (5/5 stars)

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful oceanfront home. The home was lovely and so well appointed. The large screen porch is divine and the huge yard is great. Close to Mt. Pleasant, Charleston and other local points of interest.

### Great place (5/5 stars)
Perfect size and location for two families to share a place. Checkout was early, so the last day was non existent.

### Palm Blvd 2106 (5/5 stars)
Wonderful house, and well equipped, except for knives. Nice, clean grill. Thanks for putting the shower stool in the master bath this year!

### Wonderful Stay (5/5 stars)
I have rented through Island Realty for years but this is by far the best experience we have had! Beautiful home and plenty of space! Floorplan is great. Wish there were televisions in all the bedrooms but we made do using ipads and computers. We will rent this one again!

### Love the new color (5/5 stars)

### Annual Family Beach Vacation (5/5 stars)
Outstanding, in line with the cost. Wonderful house, elevator is centrally located and easy to use, well equipped kitchen, comfortable mattresses, the owners thought of everything to make it feel like "home".

### A perfect place to bond with your family (5/5 stars)
Wonderful view and location. Spacious and comfortable except for master bedroom bed. Very clean. Elevator great for older people and carrying luggage. After 5 yrs, I would say we are very pleased.

### Palm Blvd 2106 (5/5 stars)
We really like this house and have rented it for the past 2 years. The screened in porch is great but really needs new furniture. The furniture there is so uncomfortable and falling apart. We would recommend for a house that size and price to have another refrigerator and more than 5 wine glasses. We like the 6 bedrooms & 61/2 baths. Fun family house!

### 2106 Palm Blvd (5/5 stars)
Beautiful hose, great location! Gas grill doesn't work, the burners are worn out, it won't stay lit. The letters and numbers on the cook top are not readable. We loved the back porch, really a wonderful place to stay.

### fabulous beach house (1/5 stars)
Wonderfully decorated house with many extra appliances and dishes you often don't find in rental property. the screened in porch was a real bonus. My family spent many hours on it enjoying the view. Great dining table for family dinners. everything worked.

### Beach Getaway Extraordinary! (5/5 stars)
So many great things about the property. So much furniture, comfortable for large groups to all be together. Kitchen was well equipped. Bedrooms all have their own bathrooms. Walk to the beach was so close. Love the location- close to everything, but far enough away to be private. House was very clean. Only negative - I would have liked a few things provided in the kitchen- more paper towels/ napkins, trash bags, ziplocs. Certainly not a deal breaker! Everything was wonderful!

### Christmas at Isle of Palms (5/5 stars)
Great home, wonderful facilities and great location. Only problem, winter hit with a vengeance. Never before stayed in a home with no hair dryer! Windows overlooking beach appear to have been wiped with a damp mop.

### 2106 Palm (5/5 stars)
A very comfortable home that is beautifully decorated. Great location.

### Beautiful home! (5/5 stars)
We were here for my daughter's wedding at Boone Hall. This is a well cared for, very comfy beach home. Kitchen is well stocked & beds are comfortable. There were earlier reviews that said the beds only had sheets & a spread on them, no other blankets for warmth. That has been taken care of. There are extra blankets in every bedroom closet, more than we needed. Beautiful views! Only negative was that there is no beach access. There is a walkway but at the end instead of stairs to the beach, its a steep cliff & you would have to jump down. The neighbors gave us permission to use their walkway & stairs. The house is decorated with beautiful furnishings & plenty of room to stretch out. We would definitely rent this home again!

### Perfect Labor Day Weekend (5/5 stars)
Stayed at 2106 Palm Blvd with the family for five nights first of September. This house is great. The location is perfect. Close to beach but also within walking distance to grocery. The house was clean and all was in working order. Check in/out was quick and easy. Island Realty was very easy to work with. Only complaints were the back yard to the beach was quite soggy with mosquitoes so we used the public access next door.

### Great property with a couple of issues (3/5 stars)
The house itself is beyond perfect. Beautifully decorated. There were two problems. First there is an extremely steep dune to climb from the beach but there is a flatter public access two lots away. As of Aug 2017 there is new house construction right next door with much noise beginning 7:30 AM

### 2106 Palm Blvd (5/5 stars)
Terrific vacation and fabulous house. This house is beautifully decorated with plenty of room for a large group. Six bedrooms all with their own bathroom gave everyone room to stretch out. The kitchen is very well appointed with every cooking utensil possible for those that want to eat in. The view from the screened in back porch could not have been more relaxing or more comfortable with rocking chairs for everyone. Your own private entrance to the beach meant it was no problem going back and forth so a brief thunderstorm would simply mean it was time to go back to the house for a quick snack or nap. Location, location, location!

### wonderful family vacation (5/5 stars)
the week was great, the house was terriffic the only bad problem was no steps over the dunes to the beach, for young chilren below 6, and older adults like me and my wife it was very hard going to the beach and back to the house

### Isle of Palms House (5/5 stars)
Great house. Great location. Perfect for our family. Lots of space to move and entertain. We would definitely rent it again. The management were also very quick to respond to our requests. It would have been EVEN better if they provided basic cleaning materials, specifically kitchen surface sprays and garbage bags, even cloths for cleaning. The beds only had sheets with bedspreads over them- duvets or at least a thicker blanket/throw would have been welcome as the sheets were too thin for some of the cooler evenings but the bedspreads were not an ideal alternative as these were decorative and not regularly washed (I am assuming this as they asked us to strip the dirty sheets for check out but told to leave the bedspreads). Other than the issue with the sheets, the above remarks are really trivial but we have rented vacation houses all over the world over the years and the little thoughtful touches really make a difference and don't cost a lot. We've stayed in houses where the owners keep non-perishable items like salt and pepper, vinegar, cooking oil, etc for guests to use. When we leave we then get rid of all the perishables and leave the other items for other guests who arrive in the future. So the above is really not a critique as opposed to a recommendation.

### Eight days on the beach (4/5 stars)
2106, a beautiful home has a KEY problem. 1)could not lock the front door on departure, 2) never could use the elevator since the key to unlock it was NOT present were it was supposed to be on first level, 3) 2 year old granadaughter locked herself out of her bath room on first floor (thank God she did not herself IN!). No key for that either. Otherwise great property.

### Great family get away! (5/5 stars)
House was wonderful! Could use a good outside pressure washing, but other than that great! Perfect for larger families!! Bring your bug spray as some times the mosquitoes were wicked! Will for sure be going back!!

### Worth every dime (5/5 stars)
LOVED our family vacation over the 4th of July week. Minor adjustments were quickly taken care of by Island Realty staff. This is a house for everyone to enjoy. We will definitely return!

### Beautiful Beach home - great location (5/5 stars)
What a location. It was a great house for getting my family from all parts of the country together for a few days before a wedding. Lots of space so everyone didn't bump into each other. Great access to the beach. House is in need of a good cleaning. The master bath shower for example was gross. I read that it is about to go under a spruce up. The elevator didn't work or we didn't have the key and were told they were going to bring it over, but it never came. Little things that probably only I noticed because I was trying to provide a magical few days...the view of the stars, great porch and beach provided that.

### 2106 Palm Blvd (5/5 stars)
House was very clean and had some recent updates; big enough for a large group attending a reunion at The Citadel; everyone very pleased with the accommodations, with the exception of the beds needing new pillows!; GREAT porch! Would definitely stay again!!

### The second house of our stay. (5/5 stars)

### #Jaequindowntheaisle (5/5 stars)
This is a magnificent property especially for larger groups or multiple families. We stayed here for our daughters wedding week. Even with the unbelievable weather conditions, the home was a delight and in a prime location to enjoy everything around it. So accessible to Mt. Pleasant, Sullivans and downtown. We hope to be able to visit and rent this property again!!!.

### Yearly trip to IOP (5/5 stars)
We are a group from Cincinnati, who have been making a trip to Charleston for more than 6 years. This was our 3rd stay in this house. We love the space it provides when we have only 6 couples. The kitchen works well, as well as the large living space. But our favorite spot is the large screen porch across the back of the house. What a peaceful place to spend time with friends!

### Fantastic family vacation experience! (5/5 stars)
This was a perfect vacation home that our entire family enjoyed! We chose it to extend a family wedding into a beach vacation. This house provided a bathroom for each bedroom giving us privacy and ease in getting ready for the wedding. The screened back porch was a favorite gathering spot from breakfast to late night talks. A short walk to the beach (an amazing beach!!) a short drive to the grocery store and delicious nearby restaurants put this house at a perfect location. There were no issues with Island realty or the house and I would definitely recommend both to friends and family. There was ample parking and the elevator was a plus transporting luggage and groceries. This was truly a memorable vacation for us!

### 2106 Palm in Feb (5/5 stars)
The property is very nice - great location and a beautiful house. The six bedrooms and 6 1/2 baths, along with a very large and functional kitchen, make it an excellent choice for a large group. Island Realty has always been very professional - when I called with questions about the property, the person in the office went to the house to be sure that he answered my questions correctly. We had one need for maintenance on Saturday, and the call was answered quickly and resolved immediately. There were only a few very minor things that would have made our stay better:We only received one key at check-in and it took two additional trips back to the office plus a maintenance call to get extra keys that worked. There are only two very small TVs for the house and one of them didn't work.A note for the cleaning service -- they only left one additional garbage bag in the kitchen, which is not enough for a six-bedroom house, even for a long weekend. I realize that is a small issue, but a frustrating one when it requires an extra trip to the store to get additional bags.
