We enjoyed several days here at G202, the spacious rooms, kitchen, bath and access to an elevator helped make our trip pleasant. However, the walk to the ocean was torturous for someone handicap. We were not told about the RENOURISHMENT PROJECT. We got no reimbursement for our inconvenience. The reason I rent on the beach is so I have a short walk to the beach. Closet door was completely unattached, had nasty brown marks on several walls, poorly designed kitchen where drawers couldn't even pull out due to hitting the stove handle, air vent in the ceiling was filthy and not installed properly, outside furniture was ****** and cushions were mildewed, sliding doors were difficult to operate due to rust, shades in the bedroom were paper thin and ill-fitting, bathroom sink was cracked. Thin sliver of a view of the water. The bed was quite comfortable and the kitchen, though tight, had everything we needed. The home is as clean as a beach home is going to get, minor sand and salt wear but that's expected. Nice central screened porch with a decent view. Quiet area in general, nice condo pool, and a great resort. WiFi was really bad and needs to be addressed. The bedding was dirty ( a blood stain on the sheet, the comforter was dirty. The closet was very dirty a mess. The washer had Black Mold in it (I had to clean that out before using), The bathroom cabinet had not been cleaned. We definitely will NOT stay there again. - Anonymous Posted on 5/26/2026 ### Port O Call G building (4/5 stars) Wonderful supply of bath towels and wash cloths, however only two hand towels provided. It would have been nice to at least have four. We did not use the TV in bedroom, however it came on twice by itself, which would have scared us to death, if it had of happened while we were sleeping. There was no where to sit in the living room besides on the couch. The kitchen was very narrow, but well stocked with cookware. We were in G building this time so view was very limited as compared to A building, where we stayed a couple years ago. The beach access was disappointing as you literally had to walk to the next complex south to walk out through dunes.The two beach accesses provided at Port o Call went towards beach over dunes but dropped of like a cliff and you’d have to jump down 4 feet to access beach. Once you found a way to get to beach you could only walk on it when it wasn’t high tide, as the water came all the way up. - Anonymous Posted on 9/27/2025 ### Great location but not the cleanest... (2/5 stars) Location is great! However, the place was not very clean. It appeared many places were overlooked. They even left the cleaning check sheet on the table. VERY dusty, personal items left out, food crumbs in several places, very dirty and stained pillows in living room, bathtub had purple marks all over it, large screws in the floor that had fallen from vents... I could continue. We had to dust several rooms. Also, you can hear EVERY footstep above you on the third floor. I sent pictures in hopes this will be better for the next guest. (5/5 stars) This was our first time staying in Wild Dunes after years of staying in town. We loved it! This property was very nice and spacious, but most importantly comfortable. The location was right at the beach, and you could see the beach from the living room and enjoy it from the screen porch as well. The beach was easy access too. Everything was new, including all the appliances. The decor was very nice along with artwork! It was clean, and the sofa and bed were very comfortable! We loved the little eating nook in the kitchen! It is clean and just large enough for a couple of weekends. It is a quirky layout and the people above us woke up at 5;00 am and walked around each morning waking us up. (4/5 stars) For a one-bedroom apartment, it was spacious enough to have some family members come to visit. The view from the porch to the ocean was great even though it was not an ocean front unit. A short and level walk to the ocean was perfect. If you choose this unit, make sure the building owner has the elevator turned on and in service mode.
