We had lots of room to spread out so while babies were napping we could still enjoy each other without tiptoeing around for fear of waking them. We LOVED OUR STAY. The theme of the house is very coastal, but the layout and features of the home make it the perfect stay for those that need space, plenty of bathrooms, and a giant kitchen. The house has its own separate ice maker and that was a life saver. The double decks that go the length of the house were perfect every morning to have breakfast and coffee. The pool area is 100% shaded so don’t expect sun. There’s also an elevator to get your items to the right floor of the home without steps. My only criticism is that the house could use a power wash - it’s surrounded by trees. We stayed in early April and pollen season just ended essentially. I bet it’s difficult to keep clean with the amount of tress on property. Overall, would not think twice about booking this home again. There is so much space and it's tucked away, close to the beach and a convenient drive to the center of town. The porches are amazing. We hung out the most here. There are so many options on the porches: dining table, rocking chairs, lounge chairs, and a hammock! We called maintenance for something and were taken care of promptly. The only cons: there was a pool but no pool towels were provided even though we were told linens were included. Not a deal breaker, but irritating. And, the beds were hard. But some people like that! We loved the elegant finishes, how spacious the house was, being able to use the elevator to get luggage upstairs, the huge bathrooms and cute bunkbeds that sleep four kids comfortably, just to name a few highlights. The kitchen is also luxurious and welcoming to the cook and to entertaining. The pool was small but nice. You can walk to the beach in five minutes as well! (5/5 stars) This property is absolutely beautiful!The home itself is full of southern charm with the spacious porches (we spent hours here in the mornings and evenings), huge gourmet kitchen with walk in pantry, two master bedrooms (very nice touch for two families sharing the home), separate family room area downstairs for the kids to hang out(7 total ages 9-19), pool just large enough for the kids to enjoy, easy walk to the beach, and more.Only two suggestions for the property--a second dishwasher at the island near the main sink.The island sink is near the stove and oven so naturally all dishes go in there. We had to carry dirty dishes across the kitchen to load the dishwasher(2nd sink).Second, and this is just a bonus amenity--a hot tub would be a fantastic addition making the house perfect! Decor was gorgeous and professionally decorated. The area rug and furniture in the main family room are a bit tired with stains. We needed to call PM for a couple things. They easily fixed the elevator and clogged sink (was clogged upon arrival). However, we called about a wasp nest located under the back stairs near the porches and access to pool where we spent a lot of time. Someone came out with Raid Spray (which we had already bought and used), so the problem persisted throughout our visit. One of our boys was stung 4-5 times on day 1 which was our reason for calling in the first place. They really should have a professional pest control deal with this problem and not the PM maintenance person. This could be a problem if it had been a smaller child or someone with allergies. It definitely was bothersome. Also, needs an additional outdoor trash container--our trash bags piled up outside because there was only one. We loved the property overall, and would absolutely recommend it and return to this home! It was perfect for our two families. Also, we brought our own air mattress with linens, but there are two air mattresses with linens at the property! The bedrooms, bathrooms, and closets are huge. We especially enjoyed the location. The back of the house faces the ocean and is a direct shot to the beach. The garages are exceptionally large and accessible. Overall, the house was equipped with essentials such as toilet paper and was extremely clean. It was a great house to entertain friends and family all week leading up to the wedding. It had a nice pool, view of the ocean, amazing porches and the 2 master suites were awesome. It was super clean and very nicely decorated. Plenty of room for all of us and the bathrooms are unbelievable. The walk to the beach was only 4 minutes long. We liked being able to pull the cars into the garage too. Plus loading all our luggage on to the elevator instead of carrying it was a big plus. Only having one kitchen towel was rough, but there were plenty of bath towels/soaps/toilet paper. - Anonymous Posted on 6/7/2016 ### Fantastic Place! (5/5 stars) We spent a week here for a wedding in Mt. Pleasant. The house was really spectacular. It had almost everything we might have needed. I would recommend beach chairs as I really thought they would be included in the rental. The location is easily walkable to the beach. Place was clean and Island Realty responded to our need to have a smoke detector fixed very quickly. The house was truly exceptional! It was a short walk to the beach and it was very wide and not at all crowded. Gourmet kitchen which we used everyday a long with the pool. The rooms were spacious and plenty of bathrooms for all. Two minor issues, first only one of the keys worked and we had to go back to the rental company and get it replaced and second the recycle bin was full when we got there and no pickup during our stay. The only safety issue was crossing Palm Blvd, which at times was a challenge since we had small children with us. - Anonymous Posted on 8/19/2015 ### Gorgeous house and a Wonderful time! (5/5 stars) Our three families had a great time in this beautiful house. We had toddlers, children, adults, and older adults but all were very pleased with our stay. The distance to the beach is an easy walk, but we rented a golf cart for the younger and older family. We didn't know how popular or useful the pool would be, but it was perfect! There are just too many handy and spacious things about the house to describe here. The kitchen DR area and the huge table right outside on the porch were the center of our activities -- couldn't have been better. The fabulous elevator saved us so much time with our gear, and the expansive garage area was a big plus. The appointments throughout the house show how special the house is!
