Also downstairs is a guest bedroom with two twin beds and a 32” flat screen television, a bath (with a hairdryer!) shared with the hall, and a laundry room. The master suite upstairs offers a king bed, 32” LCD flat screen television, a private bath (with a hairdryer!) There is covered parking underneath and access to a community pool. This is a second floor unit with two flights of stairs to the front door. WiFi. Linens. No Smoking. No Pets. **ATTENTION GUESTS: During high tide there is minimal beach available for beach walking or lounging. Some neighboring complexes may have sand bags out to protect their dunes from erosion. This is the second time staying in the Seagrove and we love it. The beach is really close right now but they have brought in sand to try to make the beach larger. When we got to the condo we had no power as the island was without power but we were notified later that evening that is was being worked on and was restored that night. (4/5 stars) Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental. However, there are a couple things I think that need to be addressed. One is that the drain in the shower in the master bath was not draining properly. Also two rugs in the main living area should probably be taken out and replaced by two other kinds of rugs. The white shag rugs looked very dirty. Also, we did not realize that there were so many steps to get to our condo... 30 to be exact. We don’t mind exercise. One thing that should be addressed by owners is that every inch of the beach is grabbed by a beach chair rental company. They put down chairs along the prime tide line at 645am daily and it makes finding a spot for ourselves difficult. It's spacious with quick beach and pool access, good parking, and all the essentials. In particular, it's fantastic that the two bedrooms are not on the same floor. Some updates that would make it better would be to bring the decor into the 2020s including painting or replacing all of the doors and trim, replacing the light tan carpet with either tile or a more modern color, and remodeling the downstairs bathroom. It would also be nice if there were less signs that the owner uses the space with some frequency. Our condo was exactly as portrayed in the pictures and we found it to be very clean and ready for our stay. Lack of an elevator isn't a deal breaker unless someone in your party would find it hard to manage 26 stairs. We love the porch with the ocean view and the kitchen is fantastic. It’s filled with pretty much anything you might need during your stay. The bedroom/bathroom upstairs is fantastic. The bed is super comfortable and the bathroom is just beautiful with lots of light. I come here with my aunt and mom so I stayed downstairs. The twin beds are incredibly uncomfortable so I brought a memory foam topper. That was a game changer and the bed went from concrete to a super comfy mattress. The needs to be updated. It functions but the tub drains incredibly slowly and always looks scummy. There isn’t a stopper in the tub so it doesn’t actually function that well. The only other complaint we had, had to do with the couches in the living room. They’re not terribly comfortable and tend to stick to your skin. We threw a blanket over the cushions and it was definitely a lot better. Having said all of these things, we will stay in the same unit again. We have staying in almost every listing they rent as Seagrove is our favorite location. 4C was one of the best. So clean and comfortable for our family of 4. The kitchen was full of everything we needed, appliances were nice, new and easy to use. The patio furniture was comfortable for morning coffee and reading. The bedrooms and stairs had carpet which usually is not good, but this carpet was clean and well kept. The NEW beach was so awesome. So happy to see it back to how it was when we started going to Wild Dunes 10+ years ago. We had missed walking the beach at night and searching for the crabs. We will definitely be back to 4C. I agree with the other reviews, it's time for a new couch.The beds were comfortable. TVs all worked well.Cleanliness was average. Everything you touched or walked on was very clean, the normal cleaning service is doing a good job. However, the place could certainly use a deep cleaning. Light switches, door edges, floor corners, those kinds of things could use some TLC.The view - excellent. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. - Anonymous Posted on 10/25/2016 ### Roomy villa with a nice view of the ocean (and sometimes beach) (4/5 stars) We stayed at this Seagrove villa immediately after hurricane Matthew ravaged the beach at IoP. The villa has a spacious feel, with an open kitchen and nice appointments throughout. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware and dishes. Breakfast on the porch overlooking the pool and ocean was pleasant in the clear fall mornings.It's a two floor unit with the large bedroom and bath upstairs. There is one HVAC unit to condition both floors, so there was a tradeoff as to which floor was at the preferred temperature.The walkway to the beach from the Seagrove property was decimated by the tides during the storm, so we had to mosey eastward to the beach entrance at the Boardwalk Inn to reach what was left of the beach. It might be some time before the walkway is repaired. The weather couln't have been better. It was a great location, clean, quiet and fully stocked. It's nothing fancy but your typical beach condo. Yes, I agree with others that the decor is older but who cares as long as it's clean. We have stayed in many units in Seagrove but tend to come back to 4C. The flat screen is very nice and the newly remodeled kitchen is beautiful!
