During this time, guests may use the public beach access at Summer Dunes Lane, which is approximately a 10-minute walk away. During high tide there is minimal beach available for beach walking or lounging. Some neighboring complexes may have sand bags out to protect their dunes from erosion. Please do not attempt to walk on the dunes or sand bags. Beach Renourishment Notice: The island will be undergoing a beach renourishment project between July and September 2026. This important restoration effort helps preserve and protect our beaches for years to come. Go somewhere else. The beach access is a complete joke. Take down the pictures that show this complex to have access because it doesn’t at all. There wasn’t anything posted when I booked this place about the access. Now I have to lug everything along with 3 kids down to the beach. Sandbags are everywhere even though the description says there may be some. It’s not may, there everywhere. Upon check in we asked about the beach access and they told us it was posted all over once you got down there. Complete lie. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else. The beach access was irritating - while the room says direct beach access and that neighboring properties may have sand bags, it’s important to know they absolutely do have sandbags, at this property specifically. They have closed off the direct beach access as a result and we were told to walk to a public beach access point. However, there are several closer options to get to the beach, and once we located those we were quite happy with our location, away from the craziness and in a nice stretch of family friendly beach. Unit was spotless and had plenty of linens and kitchen supplies. Building is built to give maximum view of the ocean without looking into other units. Lovely stay. Just wish beach towels were included as they take up a lot of space for packing. Tv could also be upgraded to a smart tv. This is an amazing condo! It is in pristine condition and was very well stocked with glasses, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, etc. (we love to cook our meals and that is important to me). The furniture was new and was very comfortable. As far as the rental, it was well taken care of, beautifully decorated, and very clean. Kitchen supplies, such as pots and pans and dishware were amply supplied. My only criticism has little to do with the facility and rental company. Beds are comfortable, it's well furnished with cookware etc. However, there is no beach (it's washed away after a beach renovation project earlier this year). The boardwalk was gone and there was no easy access to the water. We were not notified of any of this prior to arrival.
