We stayed at the house in early Sept. for a gathering of friends- the house was perfect for that. The large kitchen, open space, decks, proximity to beach were ideal. We found that given the overall presentation of the house, and expectations, there are opportunities for some “tweaks”. For example, the quality and # of towels provided for each bathroom were very limited - given the quality of the house. As was the soap, dish soap, etc (only a small “starter set?). We didn’t receive towels for the powder room- nor soap. The bed linens in all bedrooms were a bit tired- and there were no blankets- only sheets and then cover quilt- this is a hygiene issue. Given the apparent owners priority about use of coasters (there were signs everywhere), one would also think that there would be an equivalent interest in providing comfortable, clean linens and ample towels, as well as soaps and dish soap and dish detergent. Cutting corners in that regard while renting a multi-million dollar home and charging top dollar is counterintuitive. We loved the house and had a great time, but would pause before spending those types of dollars again unless some of those items are addressed.

I cannot say enough about this property. Everything about it was perfect.The location is great - one block to the beach.The open concept living area, kitchen, dining room gave our group ample space to spread out yet still be together. We are a group of people that enjoy cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed and then some. We used the outside grill several times and was large enough to cook lots of surf and turf. The bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable mattresses and bedlinens. The many porches were large enough for our whole group and the upper deck was great for star gazing. The pool was lovely after a day at the beach. Plenty of room for vehicles. I'm already dreaming of next years stay.

Our family of 10 had a wonderful week long reunion over July 4th at this property. it was comfortable and convenient and had everything and more that we needed. The pool and the "crows nest" deck were a lucky strike extra that made our stay that much more enjoyable. The pool cooled us off after our beach time and morning coffee up in the "crows nest" was a great way to start the day. We were even able to see multiple fire works displays from the deck. This was our first time at IOP and hope it will not be our last.

We have stayed in other properties rented from Island Realty and always had a good experience. However, this property was the best EVER! Everything about this home was top notch! The furnishings were either new or very well maintained, the home was very clean and offered every appliance and amenity you could ask for and everything was in working order. The elevator was a real convenience and the rooftop deck allowed for a wonderful view of the ocean and great breezes. The pool is welcoming and completely fenced in and the beach is just a very short walk away! It is also only a short drive to the Marina where a remodeled restaurant and family game area await!! We would definitely recommend this rental to family and friends and hope to return there ourselves one day soon!

We stayed at this amazing home with our children and grandchildren. It was absolutely perfect in every way. The house was in excellent condition and beautifully decorated. Everything was labeled and explained, so it was very easy to navigate the kitchen, the showers, the elevator, etc. The location was great - close to the beach. You even have ocean views from the top and the third floors. The pool and the surrounding area were also wonderful. There were toys for the pool and the beach, along with beach chairs and even a wagon to take your things to the beach. It was a perfect family vacation home and we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone!

The home was perfect for our group of 11 over Thanksgiving. Plenty of bedroom space and private bathrooms, but best of all a huge kitchen for Thanksgiving lunch and a wonderful living room space and sectional to watch the Iron Bowl on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.. The location was great- across the street from the beach and just down from an access. About 30 minutes into Charleston, but plenty of stores and things to do close by as well. The house was clean, very well stocked and best of all, there were instructions and labels EVERYWHERE for how to operate lights, elevator, etc.... That was SO helpful!!! We would definitely stay here again. And the few times we contacted customer service staff, they were friendly and helpful.

Our family of 10 had a wonderful week on the Isle of Palms. We highly recommend this house for large groups. The open floor plan of the kitchen, living/dining room area allows for a large group to easily spend time together without being crowded. The bedrooms were a great size and the two bunks are doubles so children and adults will find them comfortable. The expansive decks are incredible and the rooftop deck with views of the ocean are great for watching both the sunrise and sunset. The pool is also a great addition and large enough for the entire crew to enjoy. The property was clean and well-maintained and when we had an issue with one of the garage doors not closing properly, it was fixed immediately. The large garage is also a huge plus. Beach access is across the street and a beach buggy is provided for transporting your personal items to the beach.

What a wonderful vacation home! When entering 4 34th Ave for the first time we were immediately awed by the cleanliness, furnishings, natural light, spaciousness and extremely well stocked kitchen. The outside living is equally as amazing.We enjoyed late day swims, cocktails and dinner on the many decks. The Weber grill allowed for many delicious grilled outdoor dinners. The convenient beach access and ocean views from the many decks allow you to relax and enjoy your beach vacation. Highly recommend this home.

We loved staying in this beautiful vacation rental for a week while we enjoyed Isle of Palm and the Charleston area. The bedrooms and beds were all comfortable & we had plenty of towels. The house is in the block off the beach but we enjoyed a small ocean view from the main floor. The upstairs is a lovely open concept & any sounds could be heard if you were in a downstairs bedroom.

We rented this home for our week long family vacation in September. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The house is a beautiful new build just across the street from beach access. Love the porches, large open kitchen and living room area, and the pool is such a nice bonus! We had an issue with the gas water heater and gas range. However, an agent from Village Realty was at the house shortly after we placed the service call and the issue was resolved promptly that night. I would suggest some real (not plastic!) wine glasses for the kitchen and some furniture on the 2nd level porch. Overall, we had a perfect vacation and would rent again!

The open, incredibly spacious floor plan was perfect for family gatherings. The large sofa and extra seating in the kitchen and porch provided lots of opportunities to seat everyone comfortably. The quality of the finishes in the home were top of the line and the pool area was gorgeous. We would have liked for the property to have been cleaner. We called about a few maintenance issues and most were addressed promptly. The main floor has views of the ocean, which were a wonderful surprise, and the beach access is right across the street, situating this home in an excellent location. A deep clean would have easily given this review 5 stars.

Our children and grandchildren came to the Isle of Palms with us in celebration of our 50th anniversary. The house at number 4, 34th Ave. was huge with plenty of space for all 9 of us. It was an easy walk to the beach as advertised and everyone enjoyed the pool as well. The outside living space (deck) was used got lots of use. The elevator was a little confusing but we figured it out. However we mostly walked up the two flights of stairs from the garage to the living area.

Stayed here for a week with family, 6 adults and 4 kids under 6. The kids loved the huge living room and the pool. The beach was easily in walking distance.

House came with everything you need. Plenty of dinnerware, pots, pans, etc. Rooms and bathrooms were all well cleaned with plenty of towels.

I would recommend getting extra paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent, and dish detergent. They provide a little, but definitely not enough for a weeks stay.

Overall a great place to hang out with friends or family.

Can't say enough good things about this house. From the wide porches, large well appointed kitchen, open floorplan, quiet comfy bedrooms and wonderful swimming pool, we thoroughly enjoyed our week staying here.
the elevator took a little getting used to and while the house isn't ADA-accessible we made it work for our wheelchair-using family member.Don't know why there aren't more new barrier-free constructed houses being built on the SC beaches. Building accessibility in from the beginning makes sense and is cost effective. With a few tweaks, this house could have easily been made ADA compliant from the get go.

This house rental was great . The house was very clean. The entire process very smooth without any major issues. I would recommend this house as it is close to beach it’s very spacious and modern. My only recommendation would be including televisions in all bedrooms.

We had a great experience during our stay in IOP. The property is just as beautiful as the photos and everything was in place as advertised except we did have to buy a Keurig machine as there wasn’t a coffee maker as we thought was indicated. Nevertheless I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a spacious rental with easy beach access and pool. For those who like to cook there is an enormous refrigerator and gourmet kitchen.

House was beautiful and spacious! Kitchen has everything and enough space for 10 people to be comfortable at the dining table. Short walk to beach access. Roof top deck great for eclipse viewing and star gazing. Pool was great although it is a little small. However, there was a terrible ant problem around the pool the first day we arrived. They sprayed once that temporarily solved the problem. The second spray on Tuesday solved the issue for the rest of the week. Only other drawback of home is that the Master bedrooms are under and adjacent to the only social area so if you have teens staying up late, the noise can be an issue even if they are quiet. Do not use the elevator except for cargo. The latch sticks on second floor and I got stuck in the elevator...not fun if you are claustrophobic!

4 34th Ave was a terrific experience. The new home is perfectly designed for a family vacation with kitchen, living room area and porches on upper floor and living spaces below. Kitchen well appointed, beds comfy, and lots of chairs and beach toys available. The pool is compact but perfect for post-beach rinse as well as shaded in the afternoon. Short walk to uncrowded section of the beach. If we could design and own a home on IOP, it would be this one.

The house was brand new and absolutely beautiful. The kitchen appliances were top notch and they supplied every utensil that you needed to cook with. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the beds were super comfortable. The porch furniture was beautiful and the ocean views are amazing from inside and outside of the house.There is a great Weber grill on the deck too.The location of the house is set back from Palm Blvd just enough so you don't hear the street noise, but close enough to two beach accesses. I would suggest using the one to the right, it's a little shorter. They supplied beach chairs, a wagon, they even have a cooler that you can use. There is a ping pong table downstairs. The rooftop deck has amazing ocean views and my only complaint about this house, and it's really not a complaint but more of a request is to put a light on the top floor. I know the owner wanted it to be used only for daytime, but the view and the ocean breezes at night are amazing. I think it's much more dangerous not having a light up there, then for people like myself using their phone light trying to get up the spiral stairs in the dark. The saltwater pool was really nice and clean. This is my fifteenth year renting vacation homes on the Isle of Palms and I must say this house was the nicest, cleanest and filled with absolutely everything you needed. I would highly recommend this house.

The house is beautiful and a perfect layout for spending time with family. It was also very clean and the kitchen well stocked for meal prep. The beach access is across the street and a little bit of a walk down a sandy path. We did rent a golf cart which made our trips to the beach even easier. The house is also located a short drive from a grocery store, which is always helpful. Overall, it was a perfect home for our family vacation, and we would defiantly stay there again.
