We had a very pleasant stay at 35th Ave 4 in the Isle of Palms. The house is located a short walk from the beach and a short drive (or longer walk) into town. The house comfortably sleeps us to 8 (maybe more) people and was clean and welcoming upon our arrival, including a kitchen well equipped for basic cooking. Two things that really stood out for us was a dining room table that could seat 12 people and the fact that there are porches on the front, side and rear of the house, allowing one to sit and lounge in the sun at any time of the day.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay in this home. Although not striking on the exterior, the house is laid out very nicely and has everything you could need for a stay of any duration. We especially enjoyed the gas grill and easy beach access. The master BR was spacious and comfortable.

The management Company was especially accommodating. The laundry dryer was not operational on arrival, and the manager representative met the appliance vendor with a replacement unit in less than 24 hours.

The house was as represented. Three couples and a dog were extremely comfortable with all aspects of this property. Furnishings were lovely and everything was clean and well maintained. Location was convenient to the beach and enough off of the main road to be quiet and relaxing on any of the three decks. The garage area was spacious for all cars as well as a great staging area for beach chairs/canopy and cart. The fenced yard was secure enough to accommodate our 10 pound Yorkie. Tha rental office was efficient and pleasant. We hope to return!

This rental is nice for beach living. Clean and comfortable inside. The outside could use some freshening up. We had to request that the grass be cut and the yard workers were there in hours. We needed a little more space in the family room for 6 adults to spend family time together. The dining area was great! Very close to beach access.

#4 35th has been a good experience for my husband and I. We're here for 3 months (Jan/Feb/Mar) from MI, and so far we like the place a lot - well appointed, clean and cozy with a big fenced-in backyard for our dog and a short walk across Palm Blvd to the beautiful beach.

Loved our location 1/2 block from beach, yet convenient to drive into Charleston to spend the day, or to Sullivan's Island to enjoy a great meal. Enjoyed Thanksgiving lunch at Magnolias in Charleston. Also enjoyed eating at Jestine's Kitchen. The Long Island Cafe on Isle of Palms is a hidden gem-at there twice and got carryout once. Visited the aircraft carrier at Patriot's Point and Fort Sumter. Definitely walk downtown and see all the old homes! and go through The Market downtown. In previous visits we have toured the "Dungeon" downtown and the Charleston Museum, along with the Hunley exhibit, and a plantation. This home was perfect for our 4 adults and 2 dogs. The full basement has plenty of parking and a good rainy day play area for children/pets. Fenced back yard was perfect to allow the dogs to exercise. Lots of space to have privacy in the bedrooms (sliding louvered doors closed off two bedrooms and shared bath from the spacious high-ceilinged living room) and the other master bedroom was accessed from the opposite side of the living room. Enjoyed watching our SEC team play football on the LR TV. Kitchen had anything you needed to cook/serve and store food. The complimentary toiletries/paper supplies were very nice. The long DR table would accommodate up to 10 people. Had a perfect Thanksgiving vacation week! There is so much to do and see in Charleston, and this house on the Isle of Palms is the perfect relaxing place to stay while you do. Will plan to stay here again the next time we come!!!

My sister n law and I brought our 5 kids (under age 10)for 5 days. Arrived 345 and room was ready at 415. Pics don't do it justice. Very clean on arrival. Queen room bedspread has been replaced to new. Very spacious if you had to throw some blow up mattresses down. Kitchen has everything even a keurig. Gate is flimsy at top of stairs to basement. Bring febreeze for couches (smells like dogs) Didn't bother me too much since I have a dog. Plenty of games in cupboard. Right across street from beach. Then 5 minutes between bushes to get to beach. 5 minute drive to IOP shops. 15 min to Mount Pleasant. 25 min to Charleston. Loved our stay. Definitely would go back!

The house is perfect for keeping a dog. Only a few blocks from the dog park and a fenced back yard. No carpets in the rental / perfect for handling pet hair. The kitchen was well equipped with everything necessary. The 40" flat screen was fine as well as the wifi.

this is a wonderful house with many special amenities to make your stay an outstanding experience. The fireplace in the living room is mesmerizing. The neighborhood is wonderful to walk or bike. The islanders are very friendly and welcoming. It is just a short walk to the beach. The only concern is crossing a busy road. Many of the cars will stop to let you cross. The kitchen is well stocked and the dining room table is mind boggling. The beds are very comfortable and the spreads are beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay at this rental property and would highly recommend it. I would't advise if you have bad knees! Many steps.

Great vacation as usual but the hous what a safety issue. The stairs inside have a flimsy gate that needs to be repaired and made secure. An elderly person, small child, handicapped, or a pet could wasy fall through what is in place presently. We have stayed here before and the the same problem with the flimsy wooden gate created a fear that someone may trip and fall through. Please share with owners and see if this gate can be changed to a secured one.

Our family had a wonderful vacation at Isle of Palms. We relaxed, rode bicycles, took local spin classes and spent time on the beach. We visited Charleston and took carriage ride as well as Harbor tour. We had an awesome meal at the High Cotton in Charleston. The house was excellent. We were able to grill almost every night. It was walking distance to the beach. Overall it was an excellent vacation!!! We hope to return soon.

We were having a bit of a family reunion, with two families renting houses for a long weekend. On arrival, we found the home very spacious and cozy. It's a bit dated, but charming. Plenty of space to relax in the colder months (inside). The large DR table is great for a large family gathering around a meal.

we really have been working hard all year..., didn't want to tour, shop, eat out, just wanted to LOAF!!
the home had everything you could possible need. We grilled out there, stayed in jammies till noon some days, took alot of walks, saw sunsets & sunrises, listened to the ocean on the back porch, built puzzles, watched a movie or 2, read a few months worth of magazines i hadn't got to ..hugged our dogs, hugged each other ! thanks (1st pet friendly rental try, went over alright)

The house was great, especially since we brought our dogs! Loved the fenced yard and tile floors. Location was good and overall, enjoyed our stay. The negatives: Coming from VA, we had traffic issues on I-95. So, we called from the car to let the staff know that we would be there after 5pm. (The email said, "it would be extremely helpful to us if you would please let us know prior to your check-in day if your estimated time of arrival will be after 5pm.") The staff member said, no problem, they would be there until 7pm. At 6pm, we had just gotten on I-26 and knew we were cutting it close, so made the 2n phone call, and told them we would be VERY close to making the 7pm deadline, but were assured that we should be fine. We arrived at the office at 6:54, and IT WAS LOCKED UP! We had our GPS on, so we knew we'd be there before 7, or we would have called husband walked around to the back of the building and found a guy in a back office who was not a regular staff member, but was able to find our packet. We thought it was EXTREMELY unprofessional to leave before 7, especially when we'd made 2 phone calls to say we were at the mercy of traffic.
Additionally, We did call to say the Master Shower had not been cleaned (sand, mildew and hair still there) but no one came to clean. Oren (sp?) came and fixed our DVD player, so he was awesome.We mentioned the shower and he left some Clorox Cleanup, so I ended up spraying/cleaning it myself. Disappointed, but not a huge deal. But, the staff leaving early WAS a big deal. If the hubby hadn't found an unlocked door in the back, we wouldn't have known what to do....Would definitely feel uneasy next year about trusting the staff.

Overall, the experience was great. Location and condition of the home were great. The only complaint we had was that a maintenance call was scheduled with the cable company, requiring a worker from Comcast to enter the home, with no representative of the rental company present. Being that we were ultimately responsible for the condition of the home, someone from Island Realty should have been present when the Comcast worker was in the house.

Enjoyed our stay at this house. The kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of linens. So convenient to beach--just steps across Palm Boulevard. Fenced yard makes it great for pets.

The weather did not coorporate with us, 4 days of rain and wind with 2 4 year old girls. TYhe property was great. There was plenty to keep them occupied, TV DVD, Games and good neighborhood. With a lesser property we would have gone nuts.

My only suggestion is, for people with older pets looking for a pet friendly place. Many of the island homes are built with the building codes of the first floor being a story high. Our dog is big, and he had to go up and down many steps to go to the bathroom. This will be a problem for us in a couple of years. We will need to look for an older home, where the 1st floor is ground level.
