Description

Beautiful 5 bedroom beach home in gated Wild Dunes Resort. Walk to the beach (250 yards) or lounge by the private pool surrounded by a large gated deck with golf course views.
Inside you will find a very open floor plan with plenty of room for great family gatherings. Upgraded kitchen with under-counter ice maker, granite counter-tops, and a large center island. Kitchen overlooks the living room and breakfast area. Living room, kitchen, and dining room all have lots of natural light and look out onto the private pool and gated deck area. In the dining room, there is a large over-sized dining table with plenty of room for wonderful family gatherings.
On the main floor are 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. First two bedrooms (Queen Beds) have a shared bathroom. Third bedroom (queen and twin) has a private bathroom with shower only. Master bedroom has en-suite bathroom with large walk-in shower (no tub) and opens on to the pool deck. At the end of the hall (furthest from the living room) over the garage, there is a second floor bedroom with 3 twin beds. Large flat screen TVs in the living room and in each bedroom.

Pool is 6 ft. deep in the center and 4 ft. on the sides. Outdoor shower stall located on the side of the house. Pool is not heated.

Internet, Washer, and Dryer (limited capacity), linens are included, spacious outdoor shower, gas grill on pool deck. Beach Access is on 46th street or 49th. (47th and 48th are both private). Garage is not available for use. Motor homes, trailers, boats and motorcycles are not allowed in Wild Dunes Resort. Please no pets or smoking.

Bedroom 2: Queen; Shares full bath with bedroom 1. TV.
Bedroom 3: Queen and twin; private full bath (shower only); TV.
Bedroom 4: King; Private full bath (shower only); Smart TV.

Second Floor:
Bedroom 5: Room over the garage, 3 Twins. TV

**This is a Sunday – Sunday rental from 6/5/22 to 8/21/22; 3 night minimum in offseason.*

The home was lovely and perfect for our family
It had everything we needed. We did have a chronic maintenance issue with one of the toilets. It needs a part replaced. The queen mattresses need replaced. They are very uncomfortable and broken down. The location was good for the beach. Just a short walk. We had to call for a pool cleaning after a tropical storm, and they were responsive. Pool was a very nice amenity. I felt that the living room furniture could use some extra attention. Plenty of towels and kitchen items.

Our favorite part of the home was the living, dining, and kitchen space. It was spacious and provided plenty of seating and movement for family meals and hanging out. The home was very comfortable and was just a great place to relax.

Our stay was perfect. The inside of the home is beautiful, and well appointed. We found it very comfortable, definitely a home away from home.
The outside could use a little love,the deck most of all. The pool was wonderful!
Everything was very spacious, we didn't feel cramped together no matter which part of the home we were using.
The We were a little concerned about the walk to the beach, but it was honestly no big deal! We would for sure recommend this rental, and will consider it for any of our upcoming large gatherings!

We had a great stay at 2 Abalone Alley! The location was great with an easy walk to the beach. This was the perfect house for our family’s vacation—3 families with 5 children under 7 years old. The 4 children between 3.5 and 7 slept in the loft—one had a mat and sleeping bag on the floor! The pool was so nice and a HUGE hit with our grandchildren! And we all really enjoyed the layout of the house. The children ate most breakfasts and lunches on the smaller table. I highly recommend this house for a family beach vacation.

This house is perfect for extended families. Large living space and plenty of room on the pool deck to spread out and enjoy. We loved the location being the first street inside the Wild Dunes property made it a quick and easy drive to town for groceries and 5 minutes to the Marina for tours.

Rented this house for a girls weekend and it was WONDERFUL. 12 ladies fit comfortably for sleeping and we could even all sit to eat dinner together. The walk to the beach was a little further than I expected, but I think that's only because I'm not used to SC beach and the massive dunes/ distance between the shoreline and build line. It's definitely walk-able, but if we had kids with us it would've been a hike w/ all of the "stuff" kids require. We mostly ended up using the BEAUTIFUL pool. Even though the pool backs up to a road,we barely heard any traffic because of the gorgeous palm trees that surround the pool (and make for a fun photo backdrop!) We had a chef come in to make dinner for us one night and she was pleasantly surprised with how well-appointed the kitchen was. All around, Island Realty was easy to work with and professional. Will definitely consider coming back!

6 adults, 2 young children - this was a fabulous home, especially being one level. The "nest" over the garage was perfect when the 4-8 year olds wanted a spot of their own. Open floor plan and spacious deck provided great space for family reunion conversations. Pool a bonus but too cold during our stay to enjoy.

We loved the vacation house and made many family memories there! The location of the house was fantastic and an easy walk to the beach. The kitchen was well-stocked and the open floor plan was wonderful. My only recommendation is the pool could use a railing for safety and the television could come with instructions.

We visited with a group of 30 year old women and had a great time! There was plenty of space, a decent amount of bathrooms, and a great kitchen to cook in! It was too cold to use the pool, but the deck was awesome. While we had an awesome time, if you are looking for a more private home you should know that the pool looks out onto the main road in the development.
