Nice little place to get away for a few days. Very close walk to the beach. However, if anyone is in the top level the noise is very loud from kids running or people walking. I have grand kids and I know kids will be kids, but when you go on vacation, you like to enjoy your time away.

This rental offers a great location. Very
close to beach, a short walk to a few shops and restaurants and easy access to either bridge for farther ventures. The outside shower is handy and always a feature I like to have at a beach house. The grill and screened in porch was used daily, though with such humid weather it was hard to dry out damp towel in this area. Handy full size laundry in this area also. Home has many kitchen utensils and dishes, almost to many since there was not an empty cabinet to put any food in. We left all our items on the counter. Some basic items like salt, pepper, sugar a few spices would be handier than a tea set. Refrigerator makes lots of ice! Cold drinks a plenty. An upgrade to the common room TV really is a must! Even at the beach we would have like to watch a movie in the evening on a BIGGER screen. The bedroom TVs are small computer monitors we never bothered to even try them. The large dining table worked well for meals and cards we brought. Games would be nice too. There were a few puzzles and I think scrabble but we didn’t want to sit outside to do a puzzle in the heat and were eating at the other table. It’s best feature is location. Has plenty of parking, closet and drawer space. There were a couple of old beach chairs but no sand toys or umbrella. Recommend the Acme Low Country Kitchen and Spread Bagelry in Mt Pleasant. Enjoy your stay....the walk to the beautiful beach is short.

Easy late check-in, the beachhouse was well equipped, nothing missing, quiet neighborhood, very near to the beach.

Close to beach so it was an easy walk with kids. Close to IOP center and Sullivan’s Island center for restaurants. Screen porch had a nice cool breeze. Close enough to downtown, so you can see the sights.

My husband, 4mo old baby and I stayed in 310 Carolina for a couple of weeks in October. The house was clean, updated and the beds were comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked (surprising for a rental) and the back screened in porch was lovely in the mornings and evenings! I was worried about the laundry being outside but it turns out it’s just on the screened porch and it was just as convenient as if it were inside. No one was in the upstairs unit throughout the course of our stay. We would happily book again.

We were very happy with our rental. The bright and sunny first level (no stairs!) was well-appointed with all we needed for a great stay. We loved the screened porch and the outdoor shower. Very close to the beach for easy walking. Perfect size for 4 people (one couple and 2 singles). Surprise bonus was very sharp knives! We always bring our own knives and sharpener because the rental knives are so bad. However we were happy to find sharp quality knives and a knife sharpener!

We have stayed in this unit before and the updated mattresses are super comfortable. Beach chairs were provided and the beach is a short walk away. My family loves the convenient location and we ride bikes to the many IOP and Sullivan's island restaurants. We will be back to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay and may return in the future if available! This is a recently-ish renovated property near the beach, it's quite clean and well managed, and the new mattresses are comfortable.
One minor thing that would have been helpful for us is if the property owners kept a few folding beach chairs on hand for guests to use, as we have found in some other vacation rentals. When the weather forecast is iffy, it makes zero sense to use the exorbitantly expensive chair rental company on IOP that you have to pre-book, which left us with no options except beach towels.

The rental property was clean and in good repair. Location is ideal ... three minute walk to public access to the beach (and the less crowded areas). As a family with three adults, it was pleasant to have one bedroom for each, and two bathrooms. Appreciated porch, as we had a couple rainy days.

Great house! Clean, well furnished, NO BUGS, very short walk to beach. This was our 10th yr vacationing in IOP, and must say, this was the nicest rental we have found. Probably helps the owners use the upstairs for their stays in IOP, so the entire home is kept in great condition. Only thing, you need to provide your own beach chairs, but you can rent or buy them on the Island.

Went for a long weekend for my Birthday! Apartment was very clean and well stocked. Could not find beach stuff but luckily we drove and had some of our own. One block from beach...outdoor shower was convenient after the beach...easy beach parking although in high season I could see it being tough. We rented a golf cart and could get too many great restaurants end it was fun to ride around on it. Very short ride to Sullivan island and more good restaurants and a quick trip to get into Charleston for shopping etc. Would definitely recommend!!

This unit was perfectly adequate for our week long stay ay IOP. 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths for me and my 3 adult kids. Everything was operational. Place lacked curb appeal, landscaping, and the back porch was filthy but otherwise clean and in good repair.

Great place. Enjoyed the screened porch during the rain storm. Good kitchen, well stocked. Only problem was that it took a full 3 minutes of letting the water run to get hot water in the kitchen sink. Not a problem in the bathrooms.

310 Carolina Down was a perfect 3 bedroom Vacation Rental for 3 small kids with their Moms and Grandparents. It was a close walk to beach and a very short drive to Sullivan’s Island with all the great restaurants. The house was very clean and well maintained. The only recommendation would be that the dryer did seem to dry towels and it required 2 cycles — made this hard when showering everyday. Would recommend this spot to any small family!

It is sometimes hard to find a smaller, 3 bedroom house but this one is perfect. It was as clean if not cleaner than most houses we have rented in the area. Updated kitchen was wonderful (even though we didn't do much cooking). Nice too being on the ground level since I have some knee problems (which most people at my age do have). We usually rent a larger house but next time we need only 3 bedroom, this will be the first place I look.

Overall good, property was clean, although did not include supplies that would be expected. Specifically, there were no hairdryer, Kleenex, or trash bags provided. Excess noise from upstairs early in morning when occupied. Seems to be lacking sound barrier insulation between floors.

The house was beautiful. The living room furniture was comfy, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The open living room, dining room & kitchen made the house feel larger thabeautiful.The house was very clean, every amenity was available.
The walk to the beach was short & the beach was beautiful.
We were 10 minutes from the wedding venue we were there to attend, and 10 minutes to Charleston. Would stay at this house again in a minute!

Beautiful home. Clean and spacious. Just beware if you cook there was nothing in the kitchen. We had to buy salt, pepper,condiments as well as simple things like foil and plastic wrap. No replacement garbage bags for the kitchen.
We really did love the house and will come back.

The interior of the unit was very much up to date. The place did not have sufficient kitchen utensils. No basics like paper towels, garbage bags, napkins, etc. Could use beach umbrella and chairs.

The house was lovely. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, comfortable beds and couches. Even though the kitchen/dining area is small, we still were able to have family over a dinner with plenty of room on the back porch for sit down eating. We would definitely stay again.

This rental was an excellent choice at a reasonable price. The location was perfect for accessing shopping, dining, sightseeing, and the beach (a 5 minute walk). We had plenty of room (4 adults), a well equipped kitchen, full size washer and dryer, and a cozy area to watch tv, play games (provided), and entertain friends. We had a small maintenance problem, but once reported, it was quickly addressed. All in all, a memorable trip in a fabulous location! Will definitely try to return in the future.
