The house is in an excellent location, only 1 block from the beach. The fenced-in backyard is great too for those traveling with pets! The house however is a bit dirty (especially the rugs/floors) and there was an odd smell during our entire stay. It was a good value and we had a nice stay, but it would have been better without the dirtiness and smell.

We had a very nice trip to Isle Palms and were very pleased with Island Realty. Renting from them is easy and we had two very minor issues that their maintenance team responded to right away. We have rented this house before and like it because of the large yard for our dogs.

Wonderful, relaxing, cozy little cottage 2 blocks from the ocean...large fenced yard for my spaniel and quiet tree lined streets for morning and evening walks or bike rides. Convenient to all the amenities....restaurants, shops, veterinarian, grocery store, church. An amazing coastline with miles for walking and collecting shells or sitting by the surf. This rental at 2910 Hartnett is the perfect getaway for a couple or a single with a furry baby!

We rented this home for 2 weeks in March 2022 and had a very pleasant overall experience. The location is fantastic for sightseeing, restaurants, walks on the beach etc. The home itself has everything needed and was well stocked and equipped.
The only concern we had was that because the home rents to dog owners, it needs better housekeeping to ensure dog hair doesn't accumulate under or behind the furniture, where it eventually emerges. When we arrived there was a lot of hair behind a door but Island Realty was very responsive to our concern and a housekeeper came to vacuum very quickly. Aside from that, our experience was great.

I was in town for a nursing conference but travel with my service animal so this place is perfect. I felt safe in the neighborhood since I was traveling alone.The bathroom is small but does the job. The only thing I did not like was the glass front door not very private and the side door needs another lock.

Charming little beach cottage just perfect for myself and my 2 little Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Quiet, close to the beach and a joy for my Spaniels with a large fenced in back yard��. Would highly recommend for a wonderful stay at IOP. Very clean with all of the amenities that you need��

great location. quiet neighborhood with pleasant neighbors. however the lawn wasn’t mowed and there was dirt and pet rawhide chews under the loveseat. plus the motion detector light was not functioning in the backyard. this was reported by us back in May when we rented the house and it’s still not fixed. other than these things we really enjoyed our stay and would rent this property again.

This was a nice house for two people and a dog. The furniture was comfortable, the air conditioner worked great, there was a large fenced back yard, and it was on a quiet street close to the beach.

The kitchen is not that great (no dishwasher or garbage disposal, and oven/stove are very small), but we didn’t cook.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house is a great location! We loved the keyless entry & huge backyard! The house needs a few repairs (baseboards in kitchen). We did see a couple live roaches during our stay. The house was cleaned decently; however, the bathroom floor was very dirty & we had to clean it ourselves upon arrival.

This is the perfect cottage for two people and dogs. The house is small, but well equipped, and the yard is huge and well maintained. It is very convenient to a beach access, as well. Island Realty is great to deal with and very responsive. We will stay there again.

That home is clean, but needs more quality bedding.Towels adequate . But one roll of paper towels and t.p.? Cheap throw pillows and quilts. . Decor unattractive. Art work hung too high.. Table has been there for years and needs replacing. Furniture unattractive. One suede sofa, and maybe 2 attractive wicker chairs instead of the leather ones would be better.I’ve been coming here since we sold our home there, and this needs an update , TV complicated. LR needs Roku.

The house is small and perfect for a solo trip or for a couple. I overlooked the fact that there was no dishwasher so will likely not book again. One always wonders just how good a job the previous tenant did cleaning dishes by hand. That was my only concern about the property. The location was excellent and the house was very clean. There were a few items lacking in the kitchen. I bought a colander and a grater and left them. The small oven has four equal sized burners and a smaller than normal oven. Some of the sheet pans in the house don't fit it. There are two racks and I adapted. I bought aluminum disposable baking pans at Harris Teeter to avoid clean-up. At the beach, I love to cook in and I managed just fine, but I did have to adapt. There is no tub, only a shower, but water pressure was good. The tv in the living room has Netflix but the bedroom tv does not and the stations are limited. It rained a lot and water pooled in the street. A nearby house was being reroofed and so there was a lot of noise and debris blew into the yard of the rental. You only have to walk a short distance to 30th Street and then to the beach so a very easy access. The grocery store does not have fresh local fish in February which was a disappointment but I still found good fish there, just not from the Carolinas. All in all this is a nice place but it has shortcomings so it won't be my go to house, but if nothing else was available I would stay here again.

A great little getaway for two, plus our two dogs. Home was clean and had just the right amenities to sustain us for a week. The house may be small but the fenced backyard is huge and allowed plenty of room for the pups to roam safely. Easy walk to the beach and a short drive to restaurants. We will definitely consider this home for future IOP visits.

check in was a little slow did not get the call when the unit was ready unit was clean and neat it was great having a garden hose and sprayer to rinse the dog off a big plus the one thing that needs to be corrected the outside chairs needed to be cleaned

I was really impressed how close we were to the beach. It was a great place for dogs. Big fenced in back yard. Quiet street. It was our Maltese first time to the beach. He is only 5 pounds. It was close enough I could carry him to the beach. Property was clean. We had a great time.

This is the 2nd time we've rented this place and we've been very pleased both times. The neighborhood is great with great proximity to get to the beach. The house is comfortable for us and everything we could need for a few days vacation. The property is a nice size for a medium to large dog to explore and run around in. We will look to rent this place again in the future when we plan out next visit to the area.

We had a great stay at this property on Isle of Palms. It was a five minute walk to the beach, and only a mile from the beach side shops and restaurants. The property was in nice shape on a quite street with a big backyard for our dogs. The property helped my wife and I tremendously by giving us and our three pups a short term place to stay while relocating to the area from Ohio. It was the only short term rental in the area that would accommodate us and our pets while we found jobs and purchased a house, and we were very grateful for the opportunity to stay there.

We have stayed at different island realty rentals for many years and this is one of the best. The house is compact and very nice for two persons. The neighborhood is lovely and the walk to the beach is short
The smoke detector is located right next to the stove so every time we cooked it went off. I think it should be moved to the living room. I bought a measuring cup set for the kitchen. We had a great time and would highly recommend this property

The house made for a very enjoyable stay. It was very clean, with plenty of room for the two of us and our two dogs. The yard was big and it was an easy walk to the beach. The neighborhood was also great for walking the dogs with a big park close by.

The house was just a short walk to the beach. Very convenient to Charleston and many restaurants. It was especially nice to have the fenced in back yard for our Greyhounds.

We come to Isle of Palm almost every year and we always stay at an Island Realty property. They are great to deal with and the properties are always clean and well maintained. This particular house was perfect for my husband and I and our dog. The fenced in back yard was perfect. We will stay at this house again!
