This second floor oceanfront condo offers guests gorgeous views from the sundeck and allows easy access to the beach and the Mariner's Walk community pool!

This condo features beautiful furnishings throughout! The living room has a large wall mounted flat screen TV with Blu-ray player, iPod docking station, access to the sundeck, and unparalleled ocean views! The renovated kitchen offers granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances and includes a Keurig coffee maker!

The open floor plan downstairs makes this condo a great place for families to interact and enjoy each other’s company during their stay! The downstairs guest room offers a queen bed and shares a full bathroom with the hall. Upstairs you will find a guest room with two twins and a full private bath and the master, which has a king bed, TV with DVD player, and full private bath with a walk-in tile shower. Beautifully landscaped complex w/access to community pool and charcoal grills.

The condo was a great size and perfect location for my trip with my two kids. The view is amazing and the walk to the beach could not be easier. The kitchen has everything you need to stay in and cook meals. I wished the electronics could have been somewhere other than the bedroom where I was sleeping because there are a lot of things that light up in there. The place could also use a thorough cleaning (there was sticky stuff on the walls and a lot of dirt under the furniture) and some new carpet.

We loved the condo. The 3 bedroom/3 bathrooms fit ours needs perfectly. It was an oceanfront/ocean view condo & we loved having the deck to sit and watch the ocean. The condo was clean when we arrived.

A fabulous condo! The kitchen was every cooks dream! The beds were so comfy, no-one had a single complaint. The view was amazing and the location was easy to the beach, pool, grill area. The condo was clean and very organized. Our only single negative is that the couches were quite dirty. I sprayed them with lysol (due to Covid) but a good upholstery shampooer could do wonders. Would love to visit this property again!

Since wild dunes is a gated community the beaches seem like they’re private. Was there for the Fourth of July and was not crowded.

The place overlooked the water and had a nice pool and grill area.

The only downside was the lack of cleaning supplies and basic household stuff. We couldn’t find trash bags, soap, coffee filters, etc.

The kitchen was very well equipped; the best I've experienced in a rental. The condo needed a good cleaning especially tile in living area and bathroom. Carpet was old, stained and dirty. The beds were comfortable. Area rugs in living area would have been appreciated.

We love Wild Dunes. This is the first time we have stayed in Mariner’s Walk. The villa has a lovely view and is ocean front. The downstairs bedroom needs a new mattress, we tried using it the first night to avoid going up and down all the steps (three flights just to get in to the villa, then another set of stairs to the master bedroom). The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Great location to pool and beach. My only complaint is the overall cleanliness of the place. It was dusted and vacuumed, but the corners and other places were very dirty. I know it is a rental and is not going to be as clean as my home, but I feel it could have been a little cleaner.

We have stayed in this particular unit before and love the location, but we were disappointed with this visit. It wasn't very clean upon our arrival (the floor was dirty, the furniture was stained, and there were several dead insects in one of the bathtubs). The faucet in the master bathroom broke the first day we were there. Maintenance was very prompt in their response and fixed it the day we called. The unit is showing a lot of wear and needs to be thoroughly cleaned.

It was a nice unit but we found roaches in the unit. This caused us alot of extra work when we unbacked. I was not happy.

We were surprised that the unit was on the second flood with three sets of stairs and the distant to the ocean appeared a lot closer in your photoes than in actuality. Two long bugs were numerous in the unit and after calling the manager she indicated that she would see when the last time it was sprayed and let us know but never called back. No workable TV in one of the bedrooms only CD player very poor condition and the bed in that room was the bed we have ever slept another very poor condition that we had to be in for a week. The deck was in very poor condition needed painting and rusting umbrella stand. It just made one feel that the general condition of the unit was not clean and un livable. I would not recommend this unit to a friend until the issues stated above were corrected.

Overall very nice experience. Great location. Oceanfront with easy walk to beach. Kitchen supplies and utensils need upgrade. At this price it should be stocked with garbage bags, papertowels, windex and toilet paper. Pots and pans and utensils have seen better days.

EXCELLENT WEATHER, GREAT VIEW/LOCATION. QUIET. KITCHENWARE AND APPLIANCES ABOVE AVERAGE.
The only downside was the lack of decent housekeeping. We spent most of 2 days cleaning the place to make it liveable. Even so, the musty smell never left.
On the upside, we asked for maintenance help to repair a couple of items and he was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. Don't lose him! (Jeff, I think)He even fixed one of 3 vacuum cleaners-all 3 were plugged and non-functioning. Thus the unit was much cleaner when we left than when we arrived.
Island Realty was, as always, very amenable any our needs/requests. Thanks for a good stay.

-also living room furniture very uncomfortable. a decent chair or two wouldn't hurt

The location is about a good as a beachfront can be: a very wide sandy beach with a sandbar that appears and disappears. The beach is great to play on, walk on, and to watch. The condo would benefit from a screen door and some more window screens, and from an umbrella for the deck. The steps up to the condo were a challenge for the older family members.

We enjoyed our stay, wonderful being right by the ocean. Furnishings were pretty. That being said, the property needs a good thorough cleaning. Dust buildup was everywhere....On pictures, wicker furniture, baseboards. Master shower was dirty as well. Would have been more comfortable with better living room furniture- there was one couch and beyond that several stiff chairs (almost like dining chairs) around the room. Once a few people sat on the couch there just wasn't another comfortable place to sit. Location was great and these would be easy fixes for guests to give a better review next time and be more likely to recommend to a friend.

Really loved this oceanfront location. Bathroom, kitchen, bedrooms all generally clean. There were several minor maintenance items (door jamb stuck, light bulbs out, kitchen faucet issue, no lint filter in dryer), so suggest future guests check out the place in detail.

The condo was in a good location. Severel issues need to be addressed. The floor was apparently not clean, or the deck. All of our feet were black all the time we were inside. There was not enough comfortable seating in living room. A couch that would accommodate 3 people and then hard chairs was not conducive to a group of us sitting together or watching tv. A condo that size could have six adults in it with limited seats. There were several areas that needed attention. Several light sockets were pulled out half out of the wall. There were other minor maintenance issues. There was no shower curtain in downstairs bathroom. For a property that cost this much those things should be taken care of.

How do we answer the above ?, there is no place to put in number 1 - 5. Our only dissatisfaction was that early in our vacation we called to ask that a hi-hat bulb be replaced and it was never done. Please get in touch with us for next year (2010)
