The place was great. Good view of the water. very clean. Now the nit-picky stuff:
Only four large size spoons, no smaller spoons, no zester for zesting lemons, limes. No box grater for grating vegetables or cheese. No cover for the blender. No butter dish. No salad spinner for washing lettuce. No salad bowl. no pot holders. Internet gateway box on second floor very noisy. I have to same gateway in my house and it makes no noise. It's a real pain in the butt having to log into the network every day on each of our phones, ipads, and laptops. In previous rentals I only log n once for the whole two months, instead of 60 times for each item.

When we got there ,the twin bed room on the 2nd floor had a shower that didn't work at all and one of the beds felt broken in the middle and we couldn't sleep in it.The wooden steps from 1st to 2nd floor had a buildup of dust and lint all the way up.We had no internet all week and not TV in the bedrooms.Also , the sliding door to the deck was very difficult to open and close. No umbrella on the deck.After staying at Mariners Walk for 17 years ,sometimes twice a year , this unit was very disappointing

Wonderful 3 bedroom condo. Great location to the beach, very short walk out the front door AMF just over a boardwalk. Everything was clean and in good condition. Not the most up to date inside, but fully functional and great stay.

9E has it all. There are 2 incredible decks overlooking the pool with views of the ocean. The kitchen was well-equipped. Main living space was large enough the accommodate all 6 of us comfortably. All bedrooms have a bathroom. Overall, this condo suited us perfectly during our week stay on IOP.

Only suggestion for improvement would be to provide nicer bath towels and more than 1 per guest.

We had a wonderful time staying at Mariners walk. The view from the master bedroom porch was amazing! The apartment was clean, cozy, and close to everything we needed. We rented bikes and enjoyed riding around on the beach and the sidewalks. Beautiful area! Will definitely come back.

This was the perfect spot for our family of 6! With 2 balconies overlooking the pool and providing an ocean view, it was ideal.

The condo itself was clean and well maintained. It had plenty of dishes and cookware. The rooms were all large and provided TV's.

We had a warm week so the pool not being heated was manageable but that was a bit lucky for our early April stay. However, that was the only potential downside to an otherwise beautifully maintained Wild Dunes Resort. The beach was very easily accessible with a short path/boardwalk running right alongside the parking spaces.

Spacious and comfortable beach front condo. We loved the balconies with ocean views.
Recommendation: Some of the furniture could use updating.
The Island Realty staff were responsive and helpful whenever we had a minor repair request or need for assistance.
We would definitely stay here again.

The condo was very nice, however in 2 of the bathrooms, the sliding shower doors need repair. One is loose in the top floor bath and swings out. In the twin bath, the doors won't slide making it difficult to get in and out. Overall, the condo is nice. We also needed more blankets for beds. We could not find any extras in the unit.

Remarkable!
This condo was more than we could ever imagine.
The condo had a southern charm with the wood floors and stairs with amazing decor.
The pool area was fabulous and the beach was breathtaking. Just remember to bring beach towels....that was the only thing missing.

Jenny w/ IR was very helpful on the phone. We had to adjust our vaca plans in route due to the weather. She was SUPER helpful. The property was very nice, comfortable, nice amenities and beach. We had not been to IOP before and had no knowledge. It was a great experience and we're likely to stay here again.

We loved staying at this home. Great view of ocean and pool very close. There are some things that we noticed to be fixed: sliding doors on 2 floors, bath tub drain. These things can be easily fixed. Overall highly recommend.

This property met our needs nicely. It is definitely a little dated but well-maintained overall. Kitchen updates are very nice. We did notice some excessive condensation or leakage from the AC unit at the end of our stay.

We had a great time in this wonderful condo! It was such a quick walk to the pool and beach. The beds were super comfortable and had plenty of pillows and blankets. Even the sofa bed was comfy! We loved the two levels of balconies and spent a lot of time watching the sunrise or viewing the stars. We would love to go back!

We were very glad that our week at the beach was not cancelled because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The unit was ideal for our family. We could see the beach and the pool from our decks. The washer/dryer combo is great. The half bath downstairs is a plus
There was an issue with the dishwasher and we ended up washing dishes by hand. The kitchen was well equipped except for not having a large nonstick skillet We did bring an extra chair downstairs from a bedroom to use in the living room. The deck furniture was nice, the umbrella at the table could be raised up a bit higher so when closed you could use the table. The blue ray player did not work.
All in all none of these small inconveniences kept us from having a wonderful week. IOP is our favorite vacation spot.

We (two couples) stayed for a week at Mariners Walk 9E We chose this unit because it has two king suites. It was well layed out with two beautiful decks overlooking the pool and an ocean view. It is spacious and comfortable with a large living room and dining area. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans and utensils. I was particularly pleased that all of these were in good condition. We had one minor issue with the coffee pot not working properly but with a brief call to maintenance, they quickly replaced it. We did note that one bedspread was stained but there were spare ones in the closet. We appreciated that there were plenty of towels, toiletries, and hair dryers in each bathroom. The outside of the property was also well maintained with nice flower beds and was clean. A short walk past the pool brings you to the beach and it was not at all crowded. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a very nice time. Condo was clean and very well decorated. The shower door was off its hinges when we got there and a light bulb burned out in kitchen. Also, didn't appreciate grown adults acting like teenagers drinking poolside and making out in the pool with small children in the pool. Otherwise, the property was great and would stay there again.

Our Mariners Walk condo was perfect for my family of 4 plus my parents. We all had our own bathroom, which is a huge plus. The beds were extremely comfortable and had very nice bedding and pillows. Plenty of towels, toliet paper and soap, plus all the extras we needed in the kitchen. The location was beyond our expectations! A 30 second walk to the pool and the beach was just beyond that. The condo was very clean and well maintained, we had no issues or concerns. The condo was quiet, but still had other kids and families, really was great. We hope to stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Mariners Walk 9E, which was beautifully furnished and decorated and had a great view of the ocean from its decks and living room window. The sun shone all week, and the shelling (especially whelks) was the best we've had in four years of staying at Mariners Walk. But we were disappointed to find a major blacktopping project under way in the parking lot outside our condo when we arrived on Saturday, a project that continued through the following Wednesday. It required us to park on the opposite side of Mariners Walk from Monday through Wednesday and led to noisy days at the condo during that time. We wish that we had been told that this project would be occurring during our stay so that we might have chosen a different week.

This property has a strict no grilling policy on all residential porches and decks. However, the Mariner's Walk community has two shared charcoal grills available to use at a first come, first serve basis.

Can you access to all the pools in wild dunes and the grand pavilion restaurants?

Each pool is specific to a certain community or resort within Wild Dunes. This property has access to the Mariners Walk community pool. Anyone staying in Wild Dunes may access the restaurants and shops along the Boardwalk and Grand Pavilion.

Is there is a Keurig coffee maker? Are there any beach chairs for guests to use?

This unit currently features a pod-style coffee maker as well as a traditional coffee pot.

Beach chairs are not an item we require our owners to provide so we cannot guarantee that there will be any there to use. However, should you need them, we recommend renting chairs/umbrellas from local company, https://iopbeachchair.com/ - reach out to our concierge if you would like us to set up this service for you.

Pictures 6 and 31 show a steel door with extra locks. Is this to another condo?

The door seen in those photos is the front door of the unit. There is no door that connects to any of the neighboring units.

Answer:

You may use 1 of your 2 parking passes for an LSV (please make sure you rent your Low-Speed Vehicle through a company that is permitted to rent through Wild Dunes), from September through May.

No LSV rentals are allowed in Mariners Walk from June to August due to the high volume of guests during peak season.
