Other features include: Panoramic front screened porch with four rockers, two large outside beach showers, gas grill, WiFi, stereo, Living room tv with cable. DVD/VCR. NEW FOR 2015 - PRIVATE POOL. Pool is 12' x 25' and 3'6" to 5'6" in depth and feature a sun deck and small, poolside pavilion.

The house was very comfortable.Loved the front porch with plenty seating.The pool was a nice bonus, and the beach was only a five minute walk away.The stay would have been perfect if the TV had worked..

Perfect house for families with children! Short walk to the beach and the pool is a nice addition to the house! This is our second stay in this rental. The first time there was no pool. Very clean. Will definitely be staying here again!

This is our second stay at 409 Ocean and we love it!! It has everything our family needs! Spent lots of time at the beach and in the pool. The front porch is enclosed and perfect for sitting in the morning and evening!! We will be back!!!

We loved the quaint beach cabin. The front screened porch with the swing and daybed made for a nice nap on a rainy evening. I like the simplicity and nostalgia of the home. We spent many hours around the pool area. We would stay here again!

We had a wonderful week! Loved the house and the fact that it was so close to beach! The new pool was just lovely! My two granddaughters and all of the adults also enjoyed refreshing in the pool. We plan to return next year and rent this house for our family vacation!

This is a great little house. Very cozy with wood floors, walls, and ceilings. Also, many table and floor lamps to add to that warm glow.
The addition of a pool in the back yard was a smart move - the design and construction was not so smart. The pool is lined with something similar to Corian and is very slick. All three of us slipped at one point or another getting in and my wife's X-rays revealed two fractures in her 5th toe and one in her 4th toe.
We brought this to Island Realty's attention upon checkout and they were somewhat apologetic but only agreed to make the pool safer at our suggestion and also made no offer to pay our copays and deductibles.
So as the title above suggests, the house is great but be careful getting in and out of the pool.

Our family loved this house! My mother called it the Ernest Hemingway house! Very rustic/ shabby chic! The home came equipped with most everything you would need. Just bring your clothes and food! The pool was great! There were even bikes which my dad used for a ride on the beach!! The front porch was a great place to sit in the evening! They could use a new refrigerator. We had to use a chair propped up against it to keep the door closed tight and it was leaking-probably the ice maker! Other than that-it is a perfect beach home!! We will be back!!

The house was cute and atmospheric. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evenings watching the ocean and the back yard with pool was a great addition. We stayed right after the big storm and though the yard was flooded and we were offered another property-we stayed and used a gangway they provided. We enjoyed the property immensely and would stay again.

Our stay was, for the most part, wonderful! The cabin was shabby chic clean and comfy. The pool was beautiful, although not heated, and all we could do is look at it. The porches were adorable. The down side is workmen showing up to replace the siding as we were finishing up our stay. They left when I complained. Also they needed to tell us that the keys open the back door. Made for confusion as we tried to enter. Overall I give the cabin a 8.5 for unique and comfortable.
