The kitchen (except for the stove) and bath were updated, and fine. The bedroom is quite hard to navigate in due to its small size. The couch and chair are comfortable, but those metal stools are mighty hard! The location and beach access are superior however, and overall it is a fun cabin experience.

Location was great; right on the beach. The place was clean and quiet. I just suggest bringing a sleeping mask because there are only translucent blinds in the bedroom and the light from the external (outside) hallway shines directly in your face at night and the sun comes right in every morning. Management may want to hang a curtain rod with blackout curtains to mitigate this issue for future guests. Other than that, it was clean, and well maintained.

Love this place so much! Definitely the best location + price in the island. It even has a private pier! We were able to see the sunrise there and I wouldn’t change anything. The place was very clean, comfortable and safe. Cool pool as well, spent a lot of time in there. And just 5 minutes walking (if not less) from downtown IOP. Would definitely go again!

Pictures need to be updated in living room area. The view from bottom floor wasn't the best but with kids/suitcases it beats towing that up stairs. Overall I'd stay again in this same room perfect for our small family.

View wasn't the greatest, but I didn't expect different being on the first floor. The location is perfect. So many restaurants and a grocery store close by. Within 20-30 minutes of Charleston or other local destinations.

The location to the beach access and pool was perfect! The condo was clean and cute but definitely needs a little tlc as the sliding door handle was coming off and some cabinet doors were broken. The bathtub drain was semi clogged and water drained extremely slow. I would definitely stay here again but would love it even more if those few things were addressed!

It was wonderful, great location, we walked to everything .
My only issue was we only had 1 parking pass so someone had to park in public parking and it was the off season. My husband and myself where the only 2 staying but the place accommodates 6 which would be tight.

We have stayed at Sea Cabins in the past because the location (to restaurants, bars & shops) is super convenient and its steps to the beach. It has gated access to the pool, pier & from the beach to the complex to keep out non-guest.

Sea Cabins is an older complex with a pretty decent size pool and a private pier (which in years past my kids love, or if you like to fish. This trip we stayed on the 1st floor in #144C.

This unit was decorated nice & pretty clean upon arrival. Due to COVID I wiped down & Lysol'd everything but seemed to be ok before hand. The bedroom is small but the furniture fit well & the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was week equipped for our needs but we only ate breakfast and a few lunched there. We walked to dinner every night.

The living room furniture was nice but I was not a fan of the couch's material. We covered it with a sheet to make it more comfy to sit on. The view is pretty much of the parking lot but its an end building and close to the beach entrance.

This unit did have a cubby/built into the wall bunk bed that would be ok for younger kids (that they don't advertise). We did have some nosey neighbors above us one evening but they were pretty quiet by bedtime. Once again the unit is smaller and older but a nice value for all you get.

We booked this unit though Island Realty. We have used them many times before and always have had a great experience. This unit had a entry code instead of a key. This allowed us to so straight to the unit as soon as we received our text it was available. During this stay we were actually able to get in hours earlier than expected. I would recommend this unit and would stay here again.

Location is great as you are basically on the beach. Community overall was nice. The cabin itself was not so great. The white sofa cover was visibly dirty. The floor in the hallway smelled moldy and felt like a sponge to walk on with visible water damage. Pillows provided but they felt/smelled dirty - as did the comforters.

Needed a place to stay for a few nights while moving & found this sweet little spot. Just the right size for my husband & me and a great location. Quick walk down to the Dinghy for lunch and easy access to the pier, which was nice. We were there in December so all was quiet but it would be right in the middle of all the beach action in the summer & I’m sure little ones would enjoy the bunk beds, too!

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Cabins as usual. The unit was clean but appeared to have a lot of mildew or moisture damage. Smelled really musty floor was buckling and when we went to open sleeper bed the sofa cover on bottom side had mildew stains on it. So we didn’t use sleeper sofa. Slider was super hard to open and close also. I don’t think I would rent this unit again! I feel the units higher up are not as exposed to the elements as bottom floor so from now on 2nd or 3rd floor only for us! Overall we love the property , location and price! The staff at Island Realty is alway friendly and helpful!

Great to be so close to the beach! It was clean and had nice decorations but the couch was white and was dingy looking. I feel like it was clean, just probably wouldn’t have chosen a white couch for a place where a lot of different people are coming and going from outdoor activities. The bed spread was the same. The picture of the blue chair is no longer there and there is a chair without a footstool now and a coffee table instead.

This is a cute condo that’s right on the beach. It’s about as convenient as you can get in location. However, it’s in desperate need of a new mattress. The current one is worn, bouncy, lumpy, and lacks any kind of support. Impossible to get a decent night’s sleep. Also, the shower drains very slowly, causing water to rise a couple of inches after only a couple of minutes. Other than that, you have great sunrise views and adequate furnishings. Most of the appliances are old, but work okay. I probably wouldn’t recommend other than as an off-season rental at reduced prices.

Brought my two nieces, who never been before they are 21, 24 they fell in love with the area there was 3 of us , plenty of room , they loved the shops , the pool and ocean they insisted on comming back in the spring with my husband.

Super cute and clean unit, very beachy, and set up perfectly for adults to watch TV in the living room while little ones sleep in the hallway bunks that are separated by a closing door that most other units do not have. Only thing we noticed, and this is not about the unit itself, was a very musty smell coming from under the building by the stairs from the parking lot which is not noticeable at all once you pass that area. The pool needs to be maintained a bit better, at 10:00 am it was dirty. Otherwise this is a great place to stay. We will definitely be back.

We stayed here for an anniversary trip. The management company was very professional and efficient. We really loved the location of the property so near the beach. We also enjoyed the overall location as it was near most things. The kitchen was well equipped. The downside of the home was that it smelled musty. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and the bedding was worn/thin/scratchy. Also, a part of the hallway floor was sinking in. I think that if the owners invested in some newer/nicer furniture, bedding and updates this place could quickly jump to being an amazing vacation spot.

This was the weekend just after the big flooding and we worked around and understood the parking area being ankle dee in water. I would have thought there would have been some effort to clean up the debris in the parking area though.

I had a very relaxing stay. The staff was courteous, professional and friendly. The Condo I stayed in was just perfect. Not a single problem during my stay. Condo was very clean and fully stocked. With everything you may need in walking distance, you cannot go wrong staying at the Sea Cabins. Luke & Ollies Pizza is still my favorite stop, but there are several other restaurants in the area that are all very good. The only thing I missed was a towel rack on the patio. It's hard to dry beach towels without somewhere to hang them. This was my 2nd year staying at the Condo's and I plan on coming down again next year. The Condo's are getting very popular, it was difficult finding a Condo this year but I will try to get the same one for my next trip.

How can you complain about a stay in Isle of Palms when where you came from was below zero and hip deep in snow? Even though it was not the typical Isle weather it was well worth the trip.
