our unit was nice and matched the pictures. The one complaint I had was the air conditioner did not see to cool very well. Thankfully the weather was cooler than normal temperature's that week which was probably a saving grace. The other item that would have been nice is a heated swimming pool and hot tub. From pictures I thought the baby pool was a hot tub as well as many other guest who came to use it and were shocked.

Had a fabulous time at IOP in September. Would highly recommend anyone to stay at Sea Cabins. This was our second time staying there and I give it 5 stars. Location, location, location! Close enough to walk anywhere you want. Close to Charleston, Sullivans island. The rental was excellent. Only draw back is that if you don’t want steps, stay on a lower floor. Beautiful view out to the ocean. We will be back!

we stayed at one of the ocean front units and it wS great. easy access to the beach and pool. the only 2 issues I would mention is that the laundry facility prices are too expensive and the parking lot floods after a big rain. other than that a great vacation stay.

This was one of the best stays we have had at the Sea Cabins. This unit has an incredible view of everything and is easily accessible to the beach, pool and the shopping. By far, it was one of the most comfortable units with a cozy and supportive mattress, bright lighting in the bathroom, a well stocked kitchen and plenty of comfortable seating. We will book this unit again!

My wife walked in and said, “Oh this is cute and homely.” Slept with the balcony opened every night to hear the water. View was superb and the breeze as well. Place was pretty clean. TV needs to be updated. Would definitely come again.

We stay in the Sea Cabins often (for about 30 years). We have been in 323 before and they have done a very nice job of updating. I do wish they had high chairs and table on the balcony (which still needs a little work), but it was still a beautiful view (most important thing to us) and we enjoyed the area eating, walking, and beach as usual. I highly recommend any Sea Cabin, and especially those in the B complex/3rd floor if you can manage the steps.

We really enjoyed the condo, the view was great and the access to the beach couldn't be beat. I do suggest the 3rd level, otherwise you'd see buildings, cars and the pool. The only bad thing was the bed, it was extremely uncomfortable and not big enough for two people. My husband ended up on the bunk bed and I slept on the couch

We’ve been coming 20 years!! We love Isle of Palms and always stay at the Sea cabins, it’s so familiar and family oriented. We love it’s location and the rentals are just exactly all you need to feel at home. We’ve stayed in this unit before at least 4 times, it’s needed just little update on the mattress and carpet on deck higher chairs for the balcony would work better but with the view on third floor beautiful.

I love the 3rd-floor views here at the Sea Cabins. The furniture was nice but could use a new stove. I only had 2 complaints:
1.) The cable TV in the LR did not work. I know I could have called and had it repaired and didn't.
2.) The detail cleanliness was not all that good. The top of the fridge was filthy.

We loved the Sea Cabins condo. The walk up to the third floor was a bit much for my 79 year old mother but she didn’t complain! The view from the center third floor unit is priceless which is the reason I chose this one. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking meals. Shower and sleeping areas was great for my mom, me, and my 19 and 23 year old children. Only complaint is the shower liner needs to be replaced.

Condo was clean,older renovation. 3rd floor with no elevator was not good. Renters beware of this rental group. I called to get fresh towels, person said there would be a charge of 5.00, I agreed. I got an e-mail receipt and it was 5.00 PER towel. I rented 2 units and paid 40.00 for clean towels for one day. Will not go back.

The photo is not correct. It has a brand new sleeper sofa. All hardwood floors. Sure, the kitchen cabinets and counters are some dated but who cares. Very functional and an excellent stocked kitchen. Good stove. Could use a new fridge but cooled fine for two Adults and two kids. Bedrooms on all these cabins are small if there is a queen mattress but it didnt matter to us. EXCELLENT VIEW. Will definitely stay here again if the price stays affordable. Loved the pier.

Been coming to Sea Cabins for 20 + years. This stay was excellent as usual. Cabin was good with most amenities and great view up on 3rd floor. Only recommendation for enhanced stay, get a boon box for us music buffs, needed coffee filters for cup of morning Joe that I did getat HT and TV wasn't working initially, had to call front office to get someone to reprogram her which ate some time up. All in all excellent stay at the beach!

The condo needed updating,the carpet needed to be replaced very dirty. You need to just flooring down that can be easily cleaned. The bathroom need to updated the facet was nasty and grime inside the knob. I will not stay at this condo again.
We love the Sea Cabin will look at other condo there. We loved the views this condo was in a prime location at the Sea Cabin that is the only positive thing I can say. Sorry!

We had a great time. Sea Cabins is in the middle of Isle of Palms, right on the beach and near shopping. etc. It is nice to be able to cook in your own kitchen and hop in the pool or walk on the beach.

The place is great for two but might be tight for four. Things are in good shape, but not up-to-date. However, it is good value as everything works well.

Our stays at The Sea Cabins have always been great and this stay was no different. Our cabin was clean and convenient. The cabin could use some minor repairs and upgrades. The sliding door latch doesn't work (it does have a bar in the track) and the the wall outlet between the TV and the kitchen bar is taped up so that it can't be used. This wouldn't keep us from staying here again, however.

First let me say the view was amazing from the balcony! Perfect location easy access to pool and beach. Although the condo was a little dated i found it to be very clean and comfortable. Close to shops and restaurants we were able to walk to everything! Please be aware there are no elevators so you have to carry everything up the stairs but the view for us was worth it.

First time in this rental, for the price level, it was in good condition and kitchen was the best stocked of any I have stayed in.The bed was very comfortable with nice linens.For light sleepers, the central air was very loud, not sure if it is the vent design or what, we played with opening/closing vents. I do think changing out the coffee table would be beneficial as it is a cushioned table top and drinks are not stable. The LR rug was pretty stained and felt dirty to me, replacing this with flooring would be much easier to keep clean. Overall, happy with unit though.

Everything was great, except for three out of the five days our air conditioner in our cabin was not working. There was not much help from anyone until the very end of our stay. The cabin was nice and the location was perfect. The staff were also very helpful when we were checking out. They made sure to compensate us for the lack of communication and air conditioning not working.

Great location, have rented here many times, this unit needs a lot of work.
Obvious water damage not addressed in several areas, guessing from Hurricane Matthew. Paint peeling from ceiling in multiple areas around trim as well as main seam in hallway. We heard a constant drip (AC set at 75), found plastic container behind HVAC intake vent with standing water and mold. Mold around electrical cover when pulled table away from wall. Water damage on living area wall, multiple areas show where nails are swollen and bulging. Should not be rented again before addressed. Management company notified and assured us would be addressed.

I was pleased with the location and Island Realty experience. However, the room was not cleaned well upon our arrival and there were no cleaning supplies in the room to correct this problem. There was trash under the bunk beds and the floors had not been cleaned at all (swept or vacuumed). The bathroom smelled of urine and the kitchen could use a deep cleaning prior to the next guests' arrival.

What attracted me to this unit was the views. They were beautiful. However there are many things that I was unsatisfied with. To start only one vehicle per unit is allowed to park. Otherwise you have to park your car in the public parking lots or play musical cars switching them around which was a hassle. The unit itself is very dated starting with the master bedroom, it is only a full size bed not a queen which is not very comfortable for two grown adults. The Furnishings are all quite dated. We couldn't get the air conditioner to actually cool so we had to sleep in the living room on the pull-out couch with the windows open. Another thing to keep in mind is that there are no elevators, so you will have to be going up and down several flights of stairs.

Check in was very pleasant and efficient. Upon entering the villa and inspecting it, I found it to be clean and the kitchen well stocked. the view from our porch was beautiful. Access to the beach was easy and clean. The pool needs checked and cleaned after a storm which we experienced. We chose to have a place that has not been updated recently so the furniture and draperies were worn. However, the tub/shower dials were difficult to work and leaked and the bottom of the tub was spongy which may mean the floor underneath is wet or rotted. The shower rod was peeling and the fluorescent light above sink was inadequate. Also when we were checking out and bagged and carried out our kitchen garbage there were no recycling containers so we left the recycling in a bag on the kitchen counter. The property is located walking distance to local eateries that were delicious and 5 minutes to grocery and pharmacies.

The location of the property was great. We enjoyed being able to easily walk to the beach and restaurants/shops. The condo itself needs updating throughout. The mattress is old and needs to be replaced. We both had sore backs after sleeping on it. The location at least makes up for the condo's dire state.

Our condo was settled right in the center of a beautiful view. The condo was equipt with everything you need from a strainer to a wine opener. The location has everything you need and it is so close to everything. The only cons of the condo was the pull out bed was extreamly difficult to get out after calling maintenance two times and going to office with no response untill I called again only to be told the it could not be fixed. We purchace do an air mattress. The condo does not advertise but it did have two small bunk beds for kids which is a hidden feature.

The condo was very clean. The view was spectacular! These units are very small though. In the master bedroom there is a queen bed with barely any room on either side to get in and out of bed. There is a chester of drawers with a flat screen tv on top of it. A small closet which one one side is accessible due to the chest of drawers partially blocking the other side. In the hall there are two twin beds, bunked. This appears to be where a closet once was. The bathroom is pretty spacious. The living room, kitchen, dining area is one room. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you may need to cook meals. The living room furniture in this unit needs to be replaced. The couch sits very low. If you have back or knee problems you may have a difficult time getting up from a seated position. The balcony is wonderful. It has 4 chairs and two small tables and the view is incredible. The condo needs ceiling work and new paint. The biggest drawback was no elevator. We were on the third floor which meant 6 flights of steps. That is a lot of steps when carrying luggage and groceries. The places to eat and the few shops were all within walking distance. Location cannot be beat.

As always our visit to Sea Cabins is well worth the long drive. The unit was very clean and adequate. The friendly maintenance guys keep the grounds immaculate. We enjoyed yoga in the park next door, long walks on the beach and relaxing by the pool. We will be back!

The grounds of this property were very well maintained and very clean. I wasn't given specific direction on where the unit itself was located which would have been helpful. I have worked in corporate housing so I know how important these details are. I was a little taken back by the fact that when I made the reservation I was told I had to call the day of arrival to make after hours key arrangements. Personally I think the option to do this before hand would be better that way the guest can have that off their to do list. Even when I called to make the after hours arrangements the rep didn't tell me where the key box would be, I had to ask. The unit itself was very dated, the bedspread was very lumpy like it was from the early 90's, the ottoman in the living room had lost all its shape. Overall this unit needs some work and refreshing. The view was nice and the code entrance to the unit so we didn't have worry with a key. The unit served its purpose for what we needed for the weekend but I wouldn't pay the summer rate for this unit.

Sea Cabins is a great place to get away and relax. This is our 2nd time staying in one of these condo's. We will come back again! There are only a few things that could be improved in this unit that would make the stay more pleasant. The sliding glass door was very hard to open & shut, it should be oiled or replaced. I am a not a very strong lady and I had to get my husband to open & shut the door for me each time I wanted to go out & enjoy the porch. The refrigerator had a very strong fish smell that was apparently from the previous renter placing raw fish or fish bait in there. This should have been noticed by the cleaning crew and properly cleaned because the smell was so bad. Other than that the stay was very enjoyable!

I have stayed in numerous Sea Cabins and have used Island Realty for years. This was my first negative experience. Upon booking I inquired about a second Parking pass for two of my 7 days and was told it was not a problem. I was selling a vehicle while there. Upon arrival they refused the second pass and stated I was mistaken. I know what I was told. I was told several lies from that point on that made no sense. Especially that sea cabins was sold out for my stay. The two nights I needed the extra pass I counted 47 empty parking spaces in the sold out Sea Cabins.
Entering the unit was terrible. Black filthy corners, all the dishes were covered in food and placed in the cabinets. Bath tub was extremely filthy. Couch had tears in it and was very dirty. All furniture was used up cheap Walmart furniture. I knew the unit was only rated good due to the timing but I would rate this the worst Sea Cabin I have ever stayed in.

Next is the non stop smoking that goes on. All three balconies that bordered our unit were full with smokers. We could not sit on the balcony at all with the amount of smoke. What was more incredible is they just flicked the butts into the bushes in front of the condos. The weather was fabulous and we would have loved to open the sliding glass door and not use the extremely loud AC but the unit would fill with cigarette smoke every time.

This was a big disappointment with location as the only pleasing factor. We are not sure if we will use Island Realty after the experience with the front desk. We frequent IOP several times a year and there is plenty of other choices.

Loved the location and the process but the condo was kind of beat up and dirty. I went to wipe up the floor from a spill and was totally grossed out by the black wipe i had. The floors need to be really cleaned not just wet mopped.

The view is excellent. The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil imaginable. This made cooking rather convenient. An overall comfortable living atmosphere with the exception of a few problematic areas. The discovery of dirty sheets upon arrival was disappointing. Sadly, our air conditioning broke during the stay, but the maintenance department fixed the problem immediately.
