We have stayed in many Sea Cabins over the years but this one is definitely one of the best. It has a bright Beach feel. The 3rd floor corner view is excellent. You get another open side of the balcony. The appliances are modern and the smart tv is large and nice.

Place has gone downhill since our last stay. Our condo was not clean! So much dust on the ceiling fan it was hanging off. Sandy floors when we arrived. Also maintenance is not up to the old standards. The steps to the condo use to be clean now they are black and moldy. Love to stay here and liked the condo we stayed in but improvements need to be made.

If not for the refrigerator odor of mildew it would have been perfect. We had to leave drinks inside because the smell stuck to everything. We did notified front office. We kept the refrigerator door closed the rest of our stay, but even then you could still smell it some.

3rd floor condo was quite and comfortable. A great view of the ocean and you could hear the waves sitting on the balcony. Sofa, bed and chairs were comfortable and the kitchen had all you needed. It was close to a number of restaurants as well as stores. Island Realty were great with good communication. Especially nice was a private pier to enjoy the ocean.

We had a great stay once again. Hurricane Ian was coming and Island Realty didn't offer a whole lot of information on what we should or shouldn't do. This was our first hurricane experience so we had no idea what to expect or how to prepare. I asked several questions and got general answers that didn't really help with our decision to stay or leave. That decision was ultimately based off other people staying close by. Other than that we had a great stay and can't wait to return!!

This cabin had a beautiful view and met all of our needs except for one detail. The stove so small that any normal size pan will not fit on any of the burners so in order for the food to be completely cooked we had issues with some of the item burning.

The condo was the perfect size for a small family of three. Our son was too tall for the bunk beds, so he slept on the couch. It would not be comfortable for more than three adults. Plenty of sheets and towels were provided.
There is a Keurig machine in the kitchen not listed in the description.
The condo was clean and we had no issues that needed to be resolved.
There were only two little things (we didn't report) that were bothersome - the screen door would not stay on track and the dishwasher might not be attached properly in the back. When we pulled the racks out to load and unload it seemed like the dishwasher was tipping over.

The bed squeaked awful!!! The shower curtain was very dirty. There’s a blanket hanging over a window. The toaster smoked so bad I thought it was going to start a fire. Then there was electrical problems in the bathroom.

We had stayed at the Sea Cabins condos before, so we knew what to expect. Island Realty handled our check-in easily and happily, especially given the difficulties of Covid-19 accomodations.
2 areas that blew us away: we had a toilet seat that was broken when we got there, and an electrical circuit issue that came up while we were there. We texted the Service # they gave us, got a prompt reply and the choice to have things fixed while we were visiting, or at the end. They came right away and handled both issues without a hitch. Nice service, people!
The condo was as we had expected it to be, and was spotless inside and out when we got there. All in all, we had a SUPER visit.

The condo was the perfect size for our small family. We found it to be clean and comfortable. There were plenty of towels, sheets, and blankets. The kitchen had a small Keurig machine not advertised. The only things I would add to the kitchen are a few dish towels and oven mitts. The refrigerator had a really weird smell. The location of cabin 332 is perfect! It was an end unit with a gorgeous view.

overall stay was wonderful despite the rain, wind and cold. the only problem we had was that when we first went in, there was a key in a closet door. we went out the next day and when we came back, the key was not there, which mean that someone had been in the room while we were out. i did report this to the office because we didnt think anyone should come in there without us being there. other than that it is a great place. i always also enjoy visiting Bubba, the macaw at the island shop

The location on the corner is awesome, as are all of Island Realty office staff and the Sea Cabins maintenance staff. We have stayed here many times and always had a positive experience. However, this unit was much dirtier than I remember. I don't mind the somewhat outdated decor as most of our time is spent outside, but the cleanliness was an issue. The microwave was so dirty and rusty, I wouldn't trust it to run. The refrigerator/freezer had a funky smell even though it was empty, and I needed to covered the very dirty couch with the extra sheet to keep from sitting on the grime. The new flooring was definitely a nice touch since the last time we stayed there and the new patio furniture was much appreciated and more comfortable than the previous stuff.

This room has a great ocean view, which is very important to me. i was well pleased with everything. a rainy weekend, but we still had a great time at the tree lighting and the thunderstorm put on a great show Sunday night. when the lightening heated it lit up the ocean. We saw dolphins at Breach Inlet. Very comfortable and nice room

WE went it Isle of Palms to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. The condo worked great for 2 people. Might be a little tight for more people unless they are small children. It needs some renovation & serious painting. If you are there just to sleep it would work. If you are there to stay & vacation, reconsider.

We have been coming to IOP and staying in 332c since 2010. The unit this year really shows more than ever no care as to it's condition by the owners or Island realty. It was dirty,
sand on the floors and coffee table, bed was not comfortable, kitchen a mess, patio furniture MIA. We love IOP, and this is our first year of really not being happy with Sea Cabins. Maybe it is time to go else where?
We did not call management about how dirty it was because we were only there two nights and didn't want the hassle.

Great beach access! Good location in town. The condo was clean and Island Realty was very easy to work with. The balcony furnature could stand to be replaced. The location, the people even the cleaning service were excellent. I saw other units and I believe our unit (SC332) needs some updating. Simple things like a door mat, a new coffee maker, new patio furniture. I don't think it would take much effort or money to take this place from an average/below average to a very nice unit. It was clean the location was great but it needs to be updated.

The place was awful. Felt like we stayed in a motel that should cost $40 a night. We will not be going back. We had an ocean view balcony that we couldn’t even use because the furniture was rusted out and not usable. Woke up with back pain everyday because the bed was probably 20 years old. The images do not show how bad the furniture is. Patio furniture is complete rust.

The condo was a perfect home base for our family’s IOP vacation. While there are certainly bigger or more updates places to stay, this unit was clean, everything worked, well located, and good value for the price. The view from the condo down to the beach was beautiful and the patio (which could use a new table and chairs) was a great spot for morning coffee. We spent most of our days and evenings out- and if you plan to do a lot of cooking and hanging out in the unit, there may be better places- but it fit our needs perfectly. The folks at Island Realty were helpful and lovely from start to finish.

Even though it rained all day saturday we had an amazing trip! This is the perfect size for 3-4 people. We didn't use the bunk beds and brought an airmatress which was the perfect set up for watching the royal wedding! Everything was nice and clean. The walking distance to the windjammer and acme were probably the second best part (1st is the view).

Staying at here was wonderful. The condo had a great view of the ocean, everything was clean and the kitchen was well equipped for what we needed. We were actually surprised that there were two ship-style bunk beds in the room as well, so we could have fit even more people if we needed to. Not only was the condo itself lovely, but it was within walking distance to several restaurants and beach bars.

This unit had no mat at the front door, so coming into the condo after walking on the beach left a mess at the foyer. I visit IOP regularly to unwind and rejuvenate. I enjoy staying at the Sea Cabins because of the amazing view from the third floor. Island Realty has certainly made my visits easy with their wonderful service.

We have been coming to Isle of Palms for the last 13 years. We have stayed in a variety of condos usually through the same company. This particular condo was a new one for us. Right away we realized that it wasn't the usual standard. It was 4th of July weekend and we knew the view is great. The condo itself was very dated. There was a weird smell that got worse the longer we were there. We called maintenance and a very nice gentleman came and determined that it was either the toilet or the sink. Actually both things had issues. The toilet was leaking and had been for a while and the sink had been rigged. Additionally the vacuum cleaner have been broke for a long time and the carpet never really clean. After 3 days they finally brought a new vacuum cleaner. For as much as we paid it was pretty gross.

Enjoyed the facility but the room was very unsanitary. There was mold on blender lid, mold on shower head the glassware dusty. There is holes in the wall, flooring peeling up, tv remotes nasty. At basically $250 a night I'm very disappointed in the room. I would recommend the facility but not the room.

We enjoyed the condo for a getaway weekend only one week prior to the arrival of Hurricane Matthew. What a difference a week makes! We arrived after business hours and the after hour check-in process was great. Everything worked fine. Our only disappointments were the absence of an elevator (didn't know that ahead of time) and, while functional, the kitchen (appliances & fixtures) is dated. Loved the location. Sea Cabins has always been good until this year. 332 C in disrepair, carpet smelled bad, holes in walls generally unacceptable for your standards. Not a housekeeping problem an owner lack of upkeep problem. Very Disappointing!!!!

Please remember Island Realty has a complete staff on hand to help you with issues you may have during your stay. Carpet cleaning and wall repair would definitely fall in those categories. We would like to invite you back for a more enjoyable stay, no matter what our unit it rated, a hole in the wall is unacceptable. We cannot stress enough that we are available for our guests during their stay and would gladly have come to clean the carpet as well! We hope you will give the Sea Cabins another try the next time you are on the Isle of Palms.

The location was excellent, and the people at Island Realty were very nice. The condo, however had not been updated since it was built, probably in the 1990s. The flooring was coming up at the seams, the particle board in the lower kitchen cabinets was flaking off, the rug had a large stain on it, and the pans were so old and dirty they were not usable. The person cleaning the place had done as much as could be expected, it was the dated and worn condition that made it not clean. This reminded me of the beach houses that as college students we rented in the off season. Even the smallest items were not repaired. The toilet paper dispenser was broken off the wall, and the stopper in the bathroom sink wasn't connected so it had to be taken out each time to let the water out.

A little worn and need of a DEEP cleaning but everything worked well. View was great and price was right. Suggest regular cleaning of bird droppings on balcony railing...disgusting and more disgusting to clean. Unfortunately smokers below and beside our unit limited balcony time. Don't know smoking policy. Suggest for the no frill, budget minded.

Does Sea Cabins have an elevator and how far is it from 332C.

Answer:

The Sea Cabins do not offer an elevator. Guests must use an exterior (covered) set of stairs to move between the 3 levels.

These two properties are 1.3 miles apart (about a 4-minute drive)

Answer:

Guests must be at least 25 years of age, no exceptions. Even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation, if such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, it will be required to immediately vacate and there will be no refunds.
