Easter in Charleston

If you're visiting us this weekend and are looking for ways to celebrate Easter, look no further!

Amid the traditional services you'll find throughout the Holy City, several family-fun events are taking place to get you (and your little ones) in the holiday spirit!

In the weeks leading up to Easter, make sure you've checked every box on your to-do list, including stopping by the Charleston Market for a unique sweetgrass Easter basket, getting your photo with the Easter Bunny (at Northwoods Mall, Citadel Mall, and The Front Porch), and picking up traditional Lowcountry sweets. Then you can relax and enjoy the celebrations that Charleston has to offer!

Thursday the 28th:

Maundy Thursday

    Friday the 29th:

    Good Friday

    Saturday the 30th:

    Holy Saturday

    Sunday the 31st:

    Easter Sunday:

One of the most beloved parts of Easter is celebrating the end of Lenten fasting with a big Easter feast! Whether you prefer a light Easter Brunch or an over-the-top Easter dinner, Charleston's local restaurants have something for everyone.

If you'd rather stay in, host an Easter egg hunt at your vacation rental! Hide them behind the couch, under the bushes, in the pool, wherever you can think of! This will be a great way for the kids to have some fun still and keep their holiday traditions! There is even a selection of local restaurants that will deliver Easter dinner straight to your door!
