The Amazing 2017 All American Eclipse

This past Monday on August 21, the Total Solar Eclipse stretched across the entire United States! Lucky for us and our guests, we were in a prime viewing spot to witness total darkness at 2:48 pm. People from all around the country and world made plans to find the "perfect spot" to watch this piece of history unfold. The total solar eclipse started in Oregon and ended in Charleston at 2:48 pm. The last shadow casted on Isle of Palms at 2:46 pm and it lasted just over two minutes!

We made our way to the beach on Isle of Palms at 10:00 am and the beaches were already started to fill with guests! Overall, it was mostly a cloudy day...the clouds started to clear out just in time for total darkness. Charleston expected close to two million people to visit the Lowcountry for this amazing event.

We captured amazing photos from the Sea Cabins Pier and made a memorable experience we won't ever forget!
