This home was absolutely gorgeous. It was very homey, with all the amenities you would ever need. We have stayed in many different places when vacationing on Isle of Palms over the past 20 years. This is a new favorite. The location is convenient to restaurants and shops, and just a very short walk to the beach. I would definitely come back.

Great location- loved the back entrance onto the screened porch.overall good house. Wish there was a smart TV in primary bedroom (TV in there is super old and only got 1 channel). Kitchen was well equipped and house was clean. Would stay there again.

The house was in great overall condition with all the necessary amenities. Since we stayed there last year, they fixed a couple of items that we noted needed repair demonstrating a desire to take feedback into consideration. The home is within one block of the ocean and is within an easy walk to the nearby street with restaurants and shops. We can recommend highly.

We have been renting here for some four years now and it feels like home. The house is beautiful and very comfortable and we love it. It’s proximity to the beach is great as we walk it almost daily. It’s within walking distance to the grocery store so very convenient. The people at Island Realty are friendly and helpful.

Lovely visit with following issues:
1. Master bedroom BED: needs new box spring and mattress; squeaky enough to wake the dead
2. One of the bedside lamps needs new switch
3. Kitchen faucet needs repair
4. Coffee maker was dirty with coffee grinds and pretty much unusable
Otherwise, the home was beautiful and we very much enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this rental unit. It is conveniently located to the beach by a nearby path. It's in a quiet neighborhood yet conveniently close, by walking or car, to several very good restaurants (five at a minimum). The home itself is nicely laid out with the master BR and Bath on one side of the house and the two guest BRs and guest Bath on the other side. There is a kitchen table, a counter, and a dining room table to enjoy meals at and a very nice sized living room with a good TV. There is also a good sized screened-in porch with comfortable furniture and a separate unscreened porch to use. while you can't quite see the ocean, you can hear it. We had a couple of maintenance issues on the day of our arrival but the staff at Island Realty were very responsive to our calls and fixed the issues promptly. The kitchen appliances were in good order and there were plenty of dishes and silver. The only functional negative was the carpet. It could stand to be replaced but it was serviceable. We would recommend this unit based upon location and reasonable pricing. We would also stay here again,

In town for a cycling event, also wanted to get some surf in while at IOP. Perfect location, quick walk to beach and town. House was great, even had a view of the ocean from back porch. Great location and great house!!

This home is a very short walk from the beach an is walk able to a few restaurants. It had everything we needed to cook dinners at home. The house could have been a little cleaner. We were given a pool code at check in but found a sign saying it was closed for the season. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We loved this house, especially the screened-in porch on the back. We read books out there, played board games, drank morning coffee, and listened to the birds. It was our favorite place. House was clean with one exception—the shelves in the pantry were really dirty. They need a really good scrub down. We bought food from Harris Teeter’s so we could eat-in (due to pandemic). We found everything we needed in the kitchen in regards to cooking utensils. Under normal circumstances, we would eat out a lot and not even use the pantry, but given the current pandemic and taking precautions, we really needed the kitchen and pantry to store food. That’s the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. We cut up the Harris Teeter brown grocery bags to line the pantry shelves we used while we were there. Loved the washer—it’s huge. So we were able to wash a lot in one load. Location was fantastic—beach was just a short walk (5 minutes). Overall it was a wonderful week. We wish we could’ve stayed longer.

we enjoyed everything about our vacation at isle of palms. the home was extremely clean and is lovely. island realty made everything go smooth.check in was a breeze.the homes location is perfect for an ocean stay.we had no problems with the agency or the home. we would recommend 24 beachside dr. and island realty to everyone. the staff at the agency treated us wonderfully. every staff were friendly and helpful. the home is complete with anything a person would need.the screened in porch was the best place to gather before and after each day. the closeness to the pool and ocean was a one minute walk. at beachside dr. you can walk to grocery shop or several great places to eat. or enjoy a meal in the completely cute kitchen. cant say enough about this great property and the ease island realty made renting it. thank you all.

The house was in a wonderful location - the Beachside neighborhood is very private and quiet, and there are fewer people on the beach there as well. Very quick and easy walk to the beach or pool. House had extra chairs, umbrellas (some were broken - check them first!), 2 rolling carts (bring bungee cords for easiest use), boogie boards, tons of sand toys. Outdoor shower was great to rinse off before going inside. Harris teeter is a great grocery just around the corner. All kitchen appliances we needed were there - no issues at all. Sitting on the deck and/or screened porch was so pleasant as well. We loved IOP! The only “bad” thing was that the house wasn’t ready for check in at 4:00, so we left and drove through the island to see things, and when we got back by 4:30 we easily got the keys.

What a wonderful vacation! The house was perfect - just what we needed. We loved the screened-in porch and the outdoor shower came in super handy. Everything was clean and the staff at Island Realty was great to work with. We had a small hot water issue and the maintenance department took care of everything quickly. We love the neighborhood - we stay in this neighborhood every time we visit. This house is in the PERFECT location - easy walk to the beach and pool and in a quiet location. We were looking for a home in this area because we had been here a couple of times to visit friends and now decided to spend a bit more time here in our own place. It worked out great! The location is very desirable being so close to the beach as well as the grocery store and restaurants. We enjoyed Coconut Joes and Banana Cabana fairly regularly. The Boathouse is also a great spot! Although the house was fairly clean, we did notice some areas that needed a bit more attention. Would definitely recommend this property.

We've stayed at 24 Beachside Drive many times over the years. It is in a great location for easy walks to the beach or the pool; has a lovely and relaxing screened porch; is well stocked with beach chairs; and is perfectly comfortable. Only complaints heard from my adult children were very minor quibbles such as "wish they had larger coffee mugs"! This year we heard of a drain problem when we checked in, but didn't experience anything off until in the middle of the night the night before we left -- huge, loud churning sounds that made us wonder if the drain problems were not with an appliance but rather with the house drainage system (lots and lots of rain this year). Other than that, though, we plan to come back and will hope this house is available next summer.

Easy to rent the house! One phone call was all it took! Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Picked up the key when we arrived, house was clean, and very comfortable. I hate to rate this house so high because I don't want it to become so popular that I have a hard time renting again next year!

We stayed in this house for a week while we were in town for our son's wedding. It was more than adequate and allowed us to invite other out of town guests over for meals. The kitchen and bathroom renovations are beautiful and the screen porch allows for wonderful relaxing. I would strongly suggest to the owner that the lighting on the front steps be redone. With the every-other-step lighting, it gives a distorted perspective of the step depth. We had 3 people fall as they misjudged the steps. Luckily, there were were no serious accidents, but the outcomes could have been far worse. That certainly would have put a damper on our joyous occasion.

First time in Isle of Palms - what a way to start! House was great. Clean. Beds were comfortable. Both bathrooms were spacious and modern. Cable & wireless service could have been better. Connection kept getting lost. A short walk to the either the beach or the pool. Will definitely consider renting this house again.
