We had a wonderful week in this condo. It is very well furnished. Our only complaint is that we were not told the master bath tub was out of order. This was a pretty big inconvenience. I wish we had been told ahead of time. From reading past reviews it appears it has been out of order for a really long time. Why are the owners not repairing it?

We had a nice week. The condo was clean but required some maintenance items to be fixed, which is not the fault of the management company because they had not been informed of the problem. Curious about cars parked in the visitors parking spaces by people who did not have a sticker on their vehicle and who came to use the beach access?

And location / it was our 4 th time there
We do think it needs a small facelift especially in the
Living room area couch is soiled and dirty and needs a steam cleaning
Dinning room table showing wear more too / deck nice furniture and nice views but wish some trees on left trimmed y to see ocean better /
Mattress in master bedroom needs replaced as it sags on one side /
WW missed the 40 percent off sale by one day and were disappointed they wouldn’t grant that to us after 4 stays / we appreciate the screen door off living room / overall a B plus stay but hopefully owners will do a little upgrade soon / great food as always at Long Island cafe fish great !

There were 5 ladies staying 3 nights at 4107 Ocean Club. Check in was easy at the rental office. Upon arrival the condo is clean and comfortable. The pictures are representative of what to expect. Bedding was nice, pillows were a little too large to be conformable for sleeping. The dishwasher needs repair as it is not secure under the counter and also the soap dispenser does not open. The master bath tub is still waiting on a repair part from June 2023 according to other reviews. The fireplace is also inoperable due to maintenance issues at the complex which also seems to have been going on for many months. Would have been nice to know both those amenities were not available. Also, the deck seating is comfortable, but there is only seating for 5 and the condo sleeps 6, so the really should add another seating option. Kitchen is stocked well enough for dishes/glasses but no extras like spices, zip locks, Tupperware, coffee or paper products. Cell service in the condo is non existence regardless of carrier. The wifi is spotty and provided by the rental company. They need to add boosters. Pool area is very nice but be aware pool and hot tub close at 9pm. The condo does not provide any pool/beach towels (There was only 1 towel per person provided) and no beach chairs or toys. Lighting needs improvement as some bulbs are burnt out and lights over dining table are very dim. Stay was pleasant, but overall needs maintenance and some love and care considering the price for the rental.

WOW! Step back to the 80’S. This unit is not terribly bad it is just old and ten years past needing an overhaul, all of the walls and fixtures are original. A lot of the units in Ocean Club have been renovated and many are in the process of being taken to the studs to update. Another concern is that the HOA is not taking very good care of the grounds and it looks a little bare. As a general rule all of Wild Dunes is a little long in the tooth, there are some newer condos there but you have to pick and choose. I would look at some newer private constructions on Sullivan or Palm Island

The property was in excellent condition. Furniture and beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, silverware and cooking pans and utensils. Its location was good- a view of the beach with an easy walk over the dunes to the ocean. The wifi worked, but was awkward, since our devices were continually disconnencting.

We had another wonderful stay in 4107 for 6
days / clean as always and everything worked
in all rooms including kitchen ! We had one issue
with dishwasher but maintenance man came within
15 minutes of my call .... Very nice and professional
and fixed it quickly ! Staff always nice and helpful
Unfortunately when we left the elevator on our side
Wasn’t operating and we had long walk to other
side of building ( challenging for us older folks with
knee / hip mobility issues... but we managed )
Nice six days to relax and watch ocean from nice deck
with new deck furniture!! We look forward to coming
back sometime / we still have a 25 percent discount
from our May 2023 visit so hopefully we can use that
next time !! and great seafood at Long Island Cafe !

Condo was very spacious and loved the location. Bathtub in master bath had a note advising not to use and noticed this on prior reviews. Light in shower in Master bathroom was dangling from ceiling which should not have been in this condition upon our arrival. Several power outlets in the condo did not work. Cable TV did not work in bedroom with twin beds. We should not have experienced any of these issues due to the dollar amount we paid. All issues were reported to property management prior to us checking out. Building was under some renovation and we were bothered by the various noises from construction equipment throughout the property.

We had a great time here / stayed here 4 years ago
and was nice clean well equipped/ now they have added
new large rug in living room ( nice) and brand new
deck furniture with new cushions/ unit clean as before
very comfortable and good not great views of the ocean /
Shower floor in second bathroom VERY slick and definitely needs
a rubber mat / I almost fell but didn’t / only issue lots of work
being done outside as gutters were replaced so we had
Beep beep beep much of the day ( I realize maintenance needs
to be done ) couldn’t use deck until after 6pm ex for few
minutes here and there so went to the pool to relax / nice pool too /
We plan to rent again later and Whitney at island R said they will
work with us on a better rate due to noise last week / it’s a great clean
comfortable unit / we had a get the tech guy to show us how to use all
the TVs but he was very helpful and came quickly when I called / nice guy too / we highly recommended this condo / housekeeping did a great job
of cleaning before we arrived too / great 5 days and great weather!
Thank you / just get the bath rubber mats before someone does fall

Rental was very nice and comfortable. Enjoyed the ocean view and pool. Only complaint was very stingy with towels. 1 per person for 3 nights. Had to do laundry. But that didn’t ruin our visit.

Beautiful condo in a great location. It would be helpful to know if there had been animals in the condo prior to our visit. Wicker furniture and
master bathroom was covered in black dog hair. The condo was listed as no pets allowed. Previous renters had fish in refrigerator which left a horrible odor.

We went to Charleston for a family vacation. My husband and I with my elderly parents, and other family. The condo was perfect for us. Elevator right outside unit. Parking was very convenient. Easy walking path to beach. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. Nice linens. We all loved the quirky timeless decor. Fantastic deck with beautiful view of the ocean. We had a great trip and would definitely rent this unit again. P.S. extremely clean, spotless.

I was very disappointed in the condition of this condo - It needs a lot of upkeep (front door handle kept falling off; no TVs in 2 bedrooms, dishwasher did poor cleaning job, door on kitchen cabinet kept falling off, no pillow cases on beds; lights over kitchen table would not turn on past dim)
The living room and furniture were very nice as was the furniture on the balcony
I would not rent this property again unless the above changes were made
I called about the pillow cases and these were promptly delivered - there was an offer to send someone to look at other issues but because of just a weekend stay we refused this

I had also rented Ocean Club 1410 and we were very happy with this condo

Our week was nice and condo ok. I would like you to share with the owner to stop putting so much junk in the condo. She had more stuff in the pantry we had to take out in order to use it. Hardly a decent cooking pot in the place and more unusable stuff - like the desk in the master bedroom! And 2 dressers in the closet. Clean out the junk. if you don't want it at home don't bring it to the beach. get rid of it! or stop renting Pictures look nice until you open up the cabinets! Not everyone eats out

I have been visiting Wild Dunes for over 30 years. The unit was spacious. It was attactively and intertestingly decorated. It was better equipped (pots, pans, dishes, flatware, books, games, puzzles, appliances) than any unit I have ever stayed in. But there were two big safety issues. There was no cell service (I realize not uncommon in buildings in hurricane areas and on barrier islands with minimal cell towers). But while there was a land line, it was not in service. If there had been an accident or a fire, there was no way for me to summon help without going to the ground floor to get minimal signal in the parking lot. Island Reality was disinterested in the problem. At minimum the renter should be told of the situation before signing an agreement. (I suspect there is a liability issue here, too.) The floor in the shower in the master bedroom was very slippery. There were no safety bars. The mat (I found in a drawer in the closet) was so old it was hard and provided no help. I had to use a towel on the floor. The electric wire on the heated tile rack in the master bath was tucked under a metal door and was frayed. Luckily, my husband noticed and told me not to plug it in as there was danger of shock or electrocution. Either the rack needs to be removed or, at least, a note attached to it to warn not to use it. When we arrived, there were four hangers for three bedrooms. We texted Island Reality. They said they would drop some off. They did not.

The rental was very nice with a view of ocean from one side only as first floor below tree line for optimal view Had issues getting in and out of gated community as provided code was incorrect but rental staff fixed that after brought to attention. Beach was beautiful, pool nice and lovely bike paths around resort

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. It’s very comfortable and roomy. We had 4 adults and 2 teenage boys and did not feel cramped at all. It’s beautifully decorated and the view from the balcony is very nice. The grounds are very pretty and the pool and beach were just right. Some things to note- There is no cell service inside the building. The WiFi is very good but we had to go outside to make phone calls since we could not get WiFi calling to work on our phones. The master shower is a little slippery when getting in. The only thing to hold on to is the shower door which is not very strong. The lighting in the master bathroom is very dim. Do not expect to be able to put makeup on in there. The lighting in the condo is confusing. The light bulbs take a long time to warm up and glow so it’s confusing when you flip a switch and nothing happens. Small labels under each switch would be helpful. These are only annoyances and should not keep anyone from staying in this beautiful condo.

It’s a truly lovely condominium and yes, as spacious as the photos appear. It has an extremely well stocked kitchen. The bathrooms could use an update, but they are quite functional. You can see the ocean from the side of the deck, but it isn’t actually on the ocean. The staff is very gracious and quick to fix any problem promptly. We had a couple of lights out and they came immediately.
It is advertised to have 3.5 baths and a tv in every bedroom. It has only 3 baths and no tv except in the twin bedroom.

The condo was large, clean, and well-appointed. The Ocean Club is quiet and not crowded, which is important during the pandemic. Our only complaints are with the realty company: 1) we were given the incorrect gate and pool codes. It took several phone calls to get the gate code, so I recommending texting the office instead of calling; 2) we arrived on a day Charleston County announced a 6 PM curfew. With us not arriving until after 4 PM and the stores closing at 5 PM, obtaining food was difficult. It would have been nice if the realty company had provided that information to us when we picked up our keys.

The condo was even better than we expected / it was clean and really nice furniture and great quiet location / a good hike to the beach but that was ok as it gave us some good exercise ! We liked it better than Shipwatch where there are many more people and lots more noise / nice having the golf club house close if you wanted an snack or beverage / I especially appreciated the raised toilets in each bathroom to assist us at our age / kitchen layout nice and great deck with nice views of the ocean / Id rent this again without hesitation! I would recommend to the owners to fix and replace the sliding screen doors out to deck / we had to call them to be fixed and maintenance said they are both worn out and needed replaced badly / but that was ok for the days we were there / hope they are fixed/ no issues with island reality Mike was great all along the way to help us and my many phone calls / we will rent again from IR and had a great time with wonderful weather and no humidity or black flies
great stay ! very nice unit // very comfortable beds in all rooms and nice bathrooms to / probable the smaller ones could use a few updates but ok / good time had by all ! I do wish the owners would let guests park in the covered garage rather than outside in the weather for those of us who value our cars/ my only complaint // DJ

It was easy to rent the unit and the pictures were very helpful. The unit was clean, attractive and comfortable. We had 4 adults and two children in our party. We had two minor problems which the maintenance staff fixed promptly. Our only complaint was that we needed additional toilet paper, tissues and paper towels. Otherwise, the unit was well equipped.

Condo was just like pictures. Nice location. Loved the pool for our granddaughter. Cons/. Had to go on the balcony to get phone service. There was parking under the condo but we were not able to use it because we were not owners. But we had rented it for the week. No TVs in the master bedroom or big guest room. The drier had issues. Maintenance cane the next day but had to order parts.

I searched for a condo in Wild Dunes about a month in advance. I was told almost everything in Wild Dunes was rented because of the total eclipse the week before. When we checked in on Tuesday, a week later, there were very few people around and especially in the Ocean Club condo complex. Whether that was a ploy to keep prices elevated during the first week that SC kids were back in school---who knows? Overall my rental experience was ok. It was quite a drive from the property management office to the condo. I was given two different keys for the entrance lock, neither of which worked. I had to make a round trip to the office to exchange keys. To add insult to injury, there was a power outage and flooding because of a storm a couple hours before my party arrived. That was an act of God and nobody is to blame for the elevator not being available to cart luggage up.
