This is a large home overlooking the 18th fairway with great ocean views!

There is one bedroom downstairs with a queen sized bed that shares a full bath with the hallway. There are three more bedrooms upstairs and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a private bath with a Jacuzzi tub and stand alone shower.

Other key features include: Screened porch off living room and "open air" porch off master bedroom, garage, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, sleeper sofa in the living room, dining area that seats six, additional seating in the kitchen to seat up to nine, washer & dryer, cable television, TV in the master bedroom.

WiFi. Linens Included. No Pets. No Smoking. Motor homes, trailers, boats and motorcycles are not allowed in Wild Dunes Resort.

We've stayed with Island Realty and always had wonderful experiences, and this trip was no different. The house was beautiful, the area quiet, the pool well taken care of, and the beaches serene. There were several minor issues that needed attention, but the Island Realty staff were responsive and helpful.

This is our 5th trip to IoP and the 5th to this neighborhood, the 2nd to this particular house. We LOVE Wild Dunes! The house was fabulous, very clean and airy! The ease to the beach is wonderful! The neighborhood is so beautiful and clean!

Very close to the pool.
VERY disappointed in the kitchen. The skillets,glasses etc. are in very bad condition . There was not alot of towels .The floors in the whole house needs cleaning or replaced.
Overall the place needs to be updated.

This is the 4th stay we have had in Wild Dunes, in this neighborhood. WE LOVE IT. The location is amazing; the houses are always clean and well maintained. Island Realty is a always a pleasure to work. WE WILL BE BACK!

This is a great house with a great location. Well equipped and comfortable. Only drawback is that mattresses on both queen beds are badly in need of replacement. Otherwise, I highly recommend the house.

Beautiful home. Beautiful ocean view, but not actually ocean front. To get to the beach, you walk down the street to a path and a walkway that crosses the golf course. Glad I brought a beach wagon for my little one.

We had a great time at IOP. The house was in a good location and we enjoyed the beach, the pool, and riding bikes to the tennis courts. The house wasn't as clean as we'd have expected, and is due for some updating in the bathrooms and the furniture.

It was great! Great location, great house! The only issue we had was ants. A bunch of them. We kept everything clean and trash taken out so not sure why they kept appearing. They got in our food and we had to throw it out and go get more groceries. Once I saw that, I then put the new groceries in the fridge or on the kitchen bar area.

House fulfilled all our needs for 3 day week-end. Wife/myself, 3 adult children, 6 grand children (18mos to 13 yrs old). Beautiful view. Great location/layout/condition. Unfortunately we didn't have enough free time to use pool or beach as much as we would have liked. We had 3 cars,put two in garage,and with 3rd in driveway you may have to do some jockeying in and out. Went on Chas. carriage ride, drinks at night on King St, Ft.Sumter cruise, wedding up near airport. All traffic/distances 30-40 mins) comfortable drive. (Being from No Va/Washington DC area traffic could never be a problem!!!) Only house issue was that never came out to fix ice dispenser. Ice maker did work. Looked at about 15-20 other properties and think we made the best choice here.

I think this s the fourth year we have stayed at this house usually for a 's a wonderful location. Close to the beach and pool. There's noway to beat the view.
After four years
,I can see that the place is not being kept up. The decorations are dull. There was an 6 inch hole in the carpet under the dining table. The house sleeps 8,yet there are only 6 teaspoons,two cereal bowls and no salad bowls.There are thirty forks.soeone has to outfit the kitchen.
That said,we love the place and are planning to return next year. I just wish these problems will be addressed to make the house more comfortable to stay

We have enjoyed our Ocean Point 40 stays so much we have repeated, and will repeat. You should try it!
As you would expect, it is comfortable, has a usefully-equipped kitchen, and has parking under cover for two cars. The beach access is great, and the hot tub/pool access is short. It is all very good.

Very nice house, million dollar view of ocean and golf course. Great experience working with the Island Realty staff. A few reservations would be: some of the furniture, all of the carpet and the master bed mattress needs to be replaced. Will recommend to others.

Beautiful views from Bonus room & Upstairs master. Short walk to beach and very convenient to pool & spa. Master bedroom mattress was horrible. House is located on 18th hole of the golf course which is currently undergoing renovation. Beautiful subdivision.

All in all it was a great place. I was misled as to how close the beach was and the frying pans were unusable, and the light in the fridge was out. Items were fixed after two messages and 24 hours. We found it a little bothered by having to strip beds and perform tasks that we felt the staff should perform. But I guess that's the deal and we would not hesitate to rent again. In fact, we are looking at 2016 already and plan to pick a place soon.

The house was so nice, open and airy. I especially liked the balcony off the master suite. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious. The pool and spa were grand and so convenient to this house that you felt like it was your own private pool. The rug in the dining room and kitchen floor need some update and upkeep, and there were light bullbs out in a number of places. Also the outside water spigot needs fixing. My only real problem was that the trash contained on the boardwalk to the beach was never emptied, overflowing and disgusting.

We spent four days at OP40 between Christmas and New Year. The layout of the house worked out OK (we were two couples) but would have preferred is all bedroom arrangements had private baths. One towel per night per person seemed a little skimpy. Thought the house could use a real good cleaning. Maybe our visit came at the end of the season.

Answer:

Recent renovations include new living room furniture, siding repairs, and some new windows. The owners are hoping to do more renovations in the off-season but we do not have confirmed dates for this yet. This property has a strict 2-car limit.
