We enjoyed our stay here! It's small, but perfect for planning to be out at the beach all day! I can imagine this area is really packed during peak season. So being across the street and the ability to walk everywhere is nice.

Great location, but for my own reasons, would not rent on 3rd floor again.
Property could have been cleaner but it was tolerable.
Utility closet was unusable, filled with maintenance stuff that should be discarded, old broken beach items and a tangled mess of internet and wifi modems that I occasionally had to reset.
No instructions for the complicated TV operation, I figured it out eventually. There is a drawer full of old remotes and a landline phone that need discarded, outdated entertainment devices like a VCR(!) and a boombox that only take up space.
The faucet in the kitchen sink is falling apart but usable and the toilet paper holder in the second bedroom is broken.
On a good note, the management were very nice and helpful. I would work with them again.

Overall the stay was great...the unit itself does require some work. I did hand in a rather extensive list of little details. It is getting a little cluttered with extra stuff being stored in areas that have no real purpose for being there. It needs an overall cleaning as it is getting a bit grubby. The furniture is old, tattered and in some cases dirty. The kitchen has been redone and is lovely but the remainder of the unit does not match.

We have stayed in these units before. All are similar but some are in better condition than others. Management is very good. This unit was fine but as mentioned to management, the mattresses are tired as in the bedding. These, in my opinion, should be upgraded. Also, it would be nice if there was a W/D in the unit.

Well first I must say I’m a cleaner at a local resort in Gatlinburg TN so I know a clean when I see one. When we first arrived I went up to inspect the room Thoroughly. Touching ever surface and even checking the bed and under it. The place was very clean. The only thing I found wrong was the coffee machine and pot was dirty and I found a shirt underneath the bed which both was an easy fix. The only complaint I really have is that the only place to put non perishable food was on a small kitchen metal self. The lay out of the place showed a panty but you can’t really use it. It is full with maintenance stuff, beach stuff, a broom and a vacuum. We really appreciate the beach stuff and believe they should advertise that they have beach stuff. The only other problem we encountered was having to leave. The location was awesome by bike it took us like maybe a minute to get to the beach. The pool was nice and checked on a daily basis. The staff at the office was welcoming and very Accommodating. If I ever want to go back I will use island realty to book my stay. I would like to thank all the staff for our excellent today.

Had a great time. The condo was a little dated but good, very close to the beach and the town area. We like to go in to Charleston and that is easy from there as well.
Had an issue with the faucet in master bath and someone fixed immediately. Would definitely come back

My in-laws and family spend a week at IOP in Oceanside C 311. While not huge, the condo could accommodate all of us comfortably. The beach is a 3 minute walk and the pool was right off of the balcony. The appliances were pretty up to date. The Beds were ok. It was fairly quiet, which was really relaxing.
The patio door didn’t lock, but there wasn’t really a need to. We wished there were a few more coffee cups, but for a regular-sized family, it would be fine. The pool didn’t seem to be really clean and it could use a little TLC.

Island Realty staff and maintenance folks were great, very professional and courteous.
We did have a problem with the cable TV in our unit (C311 - Oceanside Villas). The cable never really worked in the living room. Not a big deal at the beach, but we missed it at night and I assume it was part of our payment. Owner should get a new cable box. Otherwise, we had a great time.

Ok last year, but this year: patio door new but didn’t lock, had to rig a broomstick to lock unit, master bedroom tv not hooked to cable, worked last year. I washed all dishes upon check in due to coronavirus, found three cups in the cupboard with dried coffee Inside, good thing I washed dishes before use.

We've stayed in this unit for 2 years in a row. The location is fantastic & the space in the unit is great for our family of 4. We're gonna move on to another unit though. This one doesn't have ceiling fans in the bedrooms, & that is a deal killer.

Oceanside C 311 was a nice condo. Its location was in a bit of a congested area. It is a block back from the ocean so there was no view. However, there was easy access to the beach right across the street. As is the laundry facilities. It is located across from the park with public access. So, especially on the weekend, the traffic was lined up starting at 8:30A.M. There is a grocery 1 block away and an ice cream stand, bars, and a couple of souvenir shops. We had a problem with the cable and the internet when we arrived. We reported it to management and within an hour the problem was resolved. The kitchen was new, and the furniture appeared to be new as well. The condo was located within 30 minutes of all the attractions we wanted to see. There are a couple of shopping plazas with name brand stores, a book store, and a movie theater right over the connector. I would visit the Isle of Palms again, but probably stay in a property right on the beach. Before arriving I read some pretty unfavorable reviews about this particular unit. I believe all those complaints have been addressed and the condo was pretty nice.

We enjoyed our stay in Oceanside C311. Condo was clean and a nice size for our family. The only problem was the code that was sent to us for the door was incorrect, and the internet code was incorrect. We had to call maintenance for both.

Unit was updated and clean and comfortable. Good location close to beach and restaurants. Only problem was that the internet connection kept dropping the WiFi connection and it took a week for AT&T to get a new modem installed. However the IT folks that Island Realty connected me up with kept me connected in the meantime so they did a good job. Shouldn't be a problem for future renters as new equipment was installed.

Island Realty does advertise that internet is not a guarantee, there are so many issues that can effect internet connections on the Isle of Palms. We were visiting from Atlanta for a wedding at Wild Dunes and this location was perfect. The area was great, close to the water, restaurants shops and bars. The best part was the amazing pier, I could have stayed out there the entire time. The condo itself was nice, clean and comfortable. Only problem we didn't have a blow dryer and didn't realize it until we were getting ready for the wedding and had nothing. Luckily my husband made a run for me a bought me one but now I have a extra blow dryer that I don't need at home. Besides that it was wonderful

We have always stayed at Sea Cabins when at IOP, but we needed two bedrooms and baths this time. This was a great condo. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of room in living area to spread out. I noticed others complained about the skillets. Apparently, someone had tried to "blacken" in one and ruined it, but the others were fine, just not non-stick. We managed just fine, and the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

The place was nice to be so close to the beach. There were some housekeeping items that could have been better: the toilet seat had hair on it and there was hair in the tub. The carpet could have been vacuumed better too. Plus there were some dirty dishes in the kitchen.

The villa was very clean and generally in good condition. The bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable. There was a large, thick pad on the mattress that rolled up all the time and didn't fit the mattress. The fitted sheet was too small so it rolled up during the night. It almost felt like you were going to roll out of the bed if you slept on the right side of the bed. The couch in the living room had a sinking area in the middle but was still comfortable. The rest of the villa is wonderful and very clean and quiet.

The good: The condo itself is decent (it's rated "good"). Easy to get to. Amenities are fine (pool, dishwasher, microwave, etc.). Two bathrooms is a plus. Mattresses on all beds are brand-new, dressers are clean. Plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. We booked this condo because it has a stocked bookshelf, by the way. Decent book selection for beach reading.

The best: This condo is a block from the beach -- access is simple through the public park across the street or along a path. If you have small children, the park is nice because there's a play area. The best part, however, is the shopping area and restaurants: Luke and Ollie's has awesome pizza and a very friendly staff, and Acme Low Country Kitchen has *the best* fried fish we've ever had -- it's crisp, melts in your mouth and is not at all greasy, as well as a great staff. There's also several other bars/restaurants, beach shops, and a Ben and Jerry's ice cream nearby. You can walk to the Harris Teeter grocery store, too, and if you're Methodist (we're not), there's a church also within walking distance. (We drove to Sullivan's Island, attended Stella Maris Catholic church, then visited Ft. Moultrie, across the street from the church).

Needs attention: The condo could have been cleaner (back bathroom shower curtain needed replaced, balcony railing was green with mildew). It wouldn't hurt to leave bathroom cleaning supplies somewhere accessible to guests. Need regular size spoons. Couch could be updated. The queen bed is very soft (it's a mattress pad, I discovered when we stripped the sheets our last morning). The closet by the front door needs purged.

This was our second time staying in this particular condo, and we had a great experience yet again. The property is clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed overlooking the pool....but from the 3rd floor.
The following are suggestions for making the condo even better:
Patio - the furniture is WAY to big for that little patio, and it's incredible awkward to move the chair around. Lose the plant in the corner, and hang something outside on the patio wall that people can hang their wet towels and bathing suits from.
Kitchen - PLEASE get a decent, non-stick, large skillet.
Master bedroom - The mattress pad cover needs changed - it's way to small for the mattress.
Living Room - lose the VCR and get a DVD player!

The location of the realty office was very close to our condo . The room was clean and spacious , and a great value compared to surrounding properties . One complaint was the sofa sleeper . It was broken and slanted , very uncomfortable , and was dirty when we opened it . There was sand and popcorn through it . Other than that it was a wonderful stay !
