Excellent unit. No complaints other than couch. Comfortable but cushions sunk so deep it made it hard to get up. Very clean. Lots of amenities. Great view from the balcony with the tall chairs. Property was clean and well maintained. Our second stay in this unit and will rent it again.

VERY pleasurable return visit to the Sea Cabins. We loved the 205A cabin and would select it again on a subsequent visit to the IOP. A side note... the light switch for the over-kitchen fixture is installed upside down and when the dimmer slider is moved there is disturbing flickering of the light. Some connection is possibly dangerously loose. Mark was GREAT in helping with getting the TV and remote working properly.

Loved this unit! Beautifully updated and comfortable! Well equipped kitchen with 2 coffee makers, a Mr coffee and a kierig, so guests can use what they prefer! Clean bedding, plenty if towels, all the comforts of home. Beautiful view of the ocean and steps from the beach! Would love to come back!

We really enjoyed staying at 205 A Sea Cabins. The place was up to date, had all amenities and most important a comfortable bed. Many of the places I reviewed had issues with that so this was a reason for choosing it. Incredible view too!

I hadn't been to Isle of Palms in decades. It was as gorgeous and clean as I remembered. Island Realty offers excellent service. Each representative I spoke or texted with was amazingly friendly and helpful. I'd work with them again. Our unit was placed so that we had an awesome view of the ocean and beach. We were close to the entry path to the beach and pier. Staff we encountered was friendly. But,the unit was quite small. The industrial motif was cute but very uncomfortable with hard seating but for the sofa. (The photo isn't quite correct.) Since it was difficult to use the pull-out which required moving a large coffee table (not sure where), I slept on a bunk..big mistake for even a 4'11" adult. My friend took the bedroom and was happy with it. There are no places to hang bath towels, only one small rod. Doorknobs were hanging places. Bathroom needs more counter space across the top of the suitcase landed in the bedroom closet, and my 'instant' needs lived under my bunk in the dark. No room for food and other necessities. We decided that the unit was in the superb location but would never use that one again.Though,the balcony was great! My friend, who frequents other SC beaches said it was quite expensive for the size compared to other locations. And, my son and family who frequented the site (different unit) until a couple of years ago, before growing a family, were surprised at the price. Overall, our week there was delightful as we spent most time on the beach and walking around in the best weather. We also went into Charleston only minutes away. Beautiful! So, I checked 'recommend to a friend' for the complex and Island Realty. Thank you Island Realty for your superb customer service and accommodations for renters.

The condo is nicely decorated. The TV needs operating instructions. While we did not want to spend our vacation watching TV, there isn't a TV channel listing. The kitchen is well equipped, but lacking storage space for any food you may purchase. My wife had to move items around just so she could put a couple of cans of soup away. There are very few forks, but tons of spoons. Some of the frying pans need to be replaced. The bed is very uncomfortable and hard. The couch while having a hide a bed has seen better days. The view of the ocean from the balcony is terrific as well as the chairs on the balcony. The living room needs floor or table lamps and tends to be dark. The flooring thru out is beautiful. Over all, we enjoyed our stay and would consider renting this unit again. Having owned an ocean front condo in the past, we may be a little more critical than some others.

My husband and I have been coming to IOP for 12 years. We love coming in September. We have stayed several times in the sea cabins. The condo was very well decorated and had everything you would need. However, I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom. It had a very strong smell of urine. The floor around the base of the commode was nasty. I always take Clorox wipes to wipe things down and glad I did. There was feces on the side of the commode as well. I would certainly suggest a different cleaning service. The bed squeaked every time you rolled over. Overall it was a nice unit except for the bathroom.

Had a great view of the ocean from our balcony, could hear the waves very clearly at night and in the morning, and the beach was a very short walk right on the property with a great private entrance and a private pier for sunrises/sunsets as well. Place was very clean and a great size for an extended weekend with a full kitchen, living space, and bedroom. Had a great experience with our first time in South Carolina!

We loved our stay at Sea Cabin 205A! From the moment we arrived, we felt so relaxed and comfortable! The kitchen was well appointed and even had both a traditional coffee maker and a keurig! We loved the wonderful patio furniture and enjoyed sitting there every morning with coffee watching that beautiful ocean. The owners provide use of their beach chairs and umbrellas as well and that was such a nice surprise! We used those everyday! The location is fabulous as well. There are several nice places to eat and shop within walking distance and I even walked to a sweet little spa and had a wonderful massage! Highly recommend this property!!

The condo was very cute and clean, it was perfect for 2 people. I would say it would be a little tight for more than 2 people, but you could probably get away with 2 adults and 1 or 2 children. It was so nice having a view of the beach from our balcony and having private access to the beach/pier! Check-in was quick and easy, and check out was seamless as well due to the electronic room access (no need to return keys or passes!). We would definitely stay here again!

This was one of the better of the Sea Cabins rentals that we've stayed in. The owners have kept it nice and up to date. Lot's of extra beach equipment like boogie boards and cooking appliances are available. Harris Teeter supplied to staples, takeout was available at our favorite restaurant, shelling and the weather was awesome We especially enjoyed the late afternoon early evenings on the balcony soaking up the rays. Updated condo with a lot of extra touches that I haven't found in other Sea Cabins. I plan on renting his unit again in April 2020. Only complaint is the noisy bed. Every time I turned over or moved, it squeaked very loud and woke up my companion. She finally started sleeping on the couch so the noise wouldn't wake her up.

This is a homey condo. I love the books, the clocks, and the colors. Everything you could possibly need is supplied. The view is great, the patio furniture, an excellent choice. In the morning, you can peek out the bedroom window to survey the sunrise, get to the beach without touching asphalt.

3 of us stayed at the sea cabin. Upon walking in it had the cutest decor & a really nice vibe to it! It had a great ocean view from the 2nd floor! Such a quick and easy walk to the beach! We loved the Sea Cabins. We were a late arrival, but all of the information was available for us. The condo was very cute. Loved the Keurig coffee maker. (that is actually one reason I picked this particular unit) Location was great, grocery store a couple blocks away, restaurants within walking distance. Charleston attractions very close. Hope to make a return trip for a long weekend before the end of summer and before school is back in for the fall. Would highly recommend Sea Cabins. Unit was very clean. Only bad thing was I think a new mattress is in order for Unit 205A, there is a big dip in the middle.

Very comfortable with a good selection of cooking utensils. The furnace had some issues and would never turn off. Bathroom sink stopper lever is broken. Battery lights are all dead. I'm just pointing things out. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Sea Cabin 205A

The room had been updated. New stove and floor. Bed was lumpy. The AC broke down on Wednesday. We called maintenance and they partially fixed it. AC still did not work well. We also lost internet and even though we called about it, it still was not working when we left on Saturday.

We do want to let you know the internet is not an advertised service in all units due to the fact this unit uses the Sea Cabin community Wi-Fi. This Wi-Fi di have an outage fro 3 days during your stay. Thank you again for your feedback, we look forward to the next time you visit Island Realty on the Isle of Palms! Update! Please note that the mattress has been replaced in this condo. Don't hesitate to come sleep on the new mattress!

The stay at Sea Cabins at Isle of Palms was a perfect escape from everyday life. The rental was located adjacent to the beach and was a beautiful place. We truly loved our stay. We will definitely be back!

Overall the room was nice and clean. We hated the bed, the mattress hurt our backs(maybe it is just too soft for us,sank when you laid down)and the brass bed squeaked at every little move-this was VERY annoying, couldn't get much sleep. The room was decorated nice, but it had too much stuff. We didn't have room for our things because of the desk, chairs, dishes, ect.. we had no where to put our groceries because the cabinets & coutertops were full. View of the beach was nice, but can't see the pier from our balcony.

Very nicely decorated, appliance modern and updated, The best nights sleep I have ever had while on vacation , would like to talk to property owner and get information on, Only negative I had some one placed a notice on my wind shield stating I was trespassing and would be towed , when I had my mirror tag promptly displayed, I was very upset about that.

We stayed a long weekend in Charleston and selected this unit for our stay. Staff were polite and helpful, and the views were perfect for drinking coffee on the balcony. We would absolutely stay again.

Always stay at Sea Cabins when vacationing
in S>C> 1st time have stayed in the A section
and will try to get same cabin or at least this
section next year. 205A had everything I needed
kitchen was updated, except for the refrigerator. The compresser would start very
frequently and was loud. Floor had not been
cleaned/wiped by the slider, previous guess had
dropped soda or something, and it was sticky.
Took a second to clean it up no big deal except
tells you cleaning people had wiped the floor
You couldn't have missed the spot.Questions
raised is what else didn't they clean>> But
didn't let it spoil my vacation. A more comfortable corner chair would have been nice,
may be a consideration for the future.

I needed a time of restoration and relaxation and my recent visit to Isle of Palms at Sea Cabins was even more than I had anticipated. The view of the ocean from the condo was beautiful. The location of Sea Cabins was very convenient to most everything and the staff there was just great and accomodating in every way. On the beach, especially early in the morning, I was reminded more than ever of the vastness of God's creation and His love for us. I am grateful for my time spent there. Kay Walker

We had a wonderful time, we'd stayed at Sea Cabins before & really enjoy it. The one this that stood out for this trip was the person that I made the reservation with, Amber. She was so different than any other agent, she really made a big difference in whether we use Island Realty again. I work in customer service & I recognize she is an asset to your company

We enjoyed our stay very much. I think the deck furniture need to be replaced. It was old and we did not spend time out there as much as I would have liked too. Rust on the carpet from the arms and legs of the chairs. We WILL go back but may try another cabin.

We've been staying at Sea Cabins for the last 4 years enjoying extended weekends at the beach beach. Check-in is very quick and the condo met our expectations... only a couple suggestions:
1. Need darkening drapes in bedroom... blinds did not shut out the morning sun when we wanted to sleep in a little longer
2. Wish 205A had a recliner

Why does it only allow a max occupancy of 4 when there are enough beds to sleep 5.

Answer:

In accordance with the City of Isle of Palms, the two 'bunk' areas in the wall, as seen in photos, do not qualify as official sleeping areas and cannot be advertised as such. This means that the official sleep capacity is 4= the main bedroom and the sleeper sofa. While the 'bunk' areas are available for your use as you see fit, you will not be able to enter more than 4 guests in your online booking. We suggest that you skip over that optional part of our booking process or call one of our vacation planners to book directly through them!
