Our travels were delayed due to Hurricane Helene and for the first time had to have a lock box. That went very smooth

This was by far our favorite SeaCabin. It’s been thoughtfully updated and that was appreciated. We loved the option of a king bed. The only negative would be no real place to hang clothes. We solved the problem by purchasing two over door hangers to then be able to hang clothes.

We hadn’t visited this late in the year but the weather (mostly) was very good. Got our beach time in��

We would rent this unit again w/o a doubt

One small glitch with the beach access code being changed but luckily an owner was on property and she shared the (changed) code

We had a visit during our stay from hearing/cooling folks. We did not allow access...island realty should have arranged that with us or after our stay ended.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Cabin 243C! The condo community was quiet and friendly. The newly remodeled condo was great! Was everything we expected and more. There was only one drawback we found and it was that there wasn’t any place to hang clothes up and limited drawer space. Might suggest a second bedstand on other side of bed for that and to put cell phone at night. But it was still a fabulous weekend and a terrific location to the beach, some restaurants, and access to the main connector road to make quick trips to Mt Pleasant & Charleston downtown! Check in and check out were a breeze as well! Thank you! My wife and I really enjoyed the time we were there!

Cabin was awesome. LOVED the king size bed. Awesome view, deck was relaxing. Weather was perfect. Everything clicked. However, much has changed at IOP, especially the food. Not a fan of the limited seafood. No one had a real seafood platter and everything was super small.portions and in plastic baskets. But the Sea Cabin was incredible itself.

Wonderful property. Right on the beach and easy access to the rest of IOP businesses. Beautifully redone inside and very comfortable. A little odd having the bed in the front room but you get used to it. Easy check in. Bring your own soap and shampoo. The travel sizes are nice but not nearly enough for a weekend. Definitely worth a look!

We had a great time enjoying the beach and hospitality of the Isle of Palms. The restaurants were great! Delicious seafood every night. Sea Cabin C 243 was delightful. It was beautifully furnished and had a great view of the ocean. It was just a short ride to Mt. Pleasant and Charleston for shopping and sightseeing. We will be back!

We are return guests in Sea Cabins for over 40 years. Our recent stay in 243C was very good. Recent re-modeling was very good; however, lacked some appointments that would make it even better. A new sofa would make a huge difference. Removing some of the new shelves to allow hanging a few items would also be a good touch.

We have been vacationing at Isle of Palms for many years and have stayed in Sea Cabin units for the majority of those visits. We love the location and are generally happy with the Island Reality staff with regards to ease of check in and cleanliness of the property. This was our 2nd stay at 243C and, while we would recommend it in general, the bed is not comfortable and would need to be replaced before we would stay there again.
We appreciate the shoe tray and rug at the door to help with sand and the unit is well appointed overall. We would rate the condition of this unit at 4 stars but used a 3 star rating in this review due to common area issues with boardwalks and handrails between the building and the beach.

perfect location on Isle of Palms. it's right by the bridge so you don't have to drive 20 minutes to get to ur place once you get on the island which happened to me the last place I stayed at. this condo is 4-minute walk to surf shops and 4 or 5 different beach front Resteraunts which was a huge bonus to us. the condo is clean. ocean views. there is also a pier right there so you can walk out onto that.

Outstanding. We enjoy the pier - both for views and fishing. The lady at the Island Realty Office was extremely friendly and helpful. She helped us get our fishing license on line since the Walmart Computers were down and we couldn't get one there.

We enjoyed our week except for the days Ian disrupted. The unit was clean and nicely appointed. We were, however, disappointed with the bed (both the box spring and mattress were worn out). We have stayed in several different Sea Cabins units and 243 was one of the nicer ones.

It was nice. Comfortable for the most part only two issues I’d recommend be resolved ASAP. The a/c unit is awful! Needs to be fixed or replaced. A full size ironing board and iron would be welcomed also.

Overall, the stay was great. Sure the space is small but we spent the most of our time at the beach so all in a all it sufficed. It would have been nice to have somewhere to hand wet towels/suits on the back porch. Sign says to not hang over the handrail but there are no functional hangers outside. It was also a great location - right on the beach and with in walking distance to restaurants, ice cream, and a grocery store.

We love the Isle of Palms and vacation there quite often. I think the rental fee was double what I normally pay and could not get a reasonable answer for that. Otherwise we were quite happy with our vacation.

Unit was great location - clean and the right size for the two of us. This was our 1st visit to Isle of Palms. there were little things that were addressed and others to be addressed but it did not negatively affect our stay. The TV had to have new cable as all channels were fuzzy, the two right side burners on the stove were not working - other than that - everything was great.

Can't go wrong, 40 yards from beach, pool even closer, room is always clean, and updated often. I've rented this same place 3 times now, will most likely do it again. Multiple places to eat without driving, Grocery Store around the corner.

Overall, the unit was satisfactory. However, upgrades needed on living area tv - not HD level, so everything was seen on a reduced viewing area. The mattress in bedroom was unsatisfactory - too soft for a visitor with back issues. We are used to gas heat, so electric heat did not generate sufficient warmth most of the time(no gas lines available to island). Quick response from maint. dept. on door lock that had to be replaced. Great view of surroundings.

There is no carpet. Needs better lighting and "easy" chairs. Cookware 4 microwave cooking unavailable. Cabinets largely unreachable. 4 spoons only. Coffee-type table would help hold books, newspapers, etc GREAT VIEWS.Best to reach 2nd. floor use Center Stairwell. As frequent visitors to Sea Cabins, Disappointed in 243-C. Good fridge!!

Overall, we had a nice stay. Check in was busy, but uneventful. Reps could have been a little nicer, but it was the end of the day on Saturday. The property itself was nice. We love the beach access, pool and pier. Much nicer than the local hotels on IOP. Overall, a great stay.

For the second time in two years we spent a week at Ilse of Palms in Sea Cabin 243C. It was a wonderful experience, and we may return in future years. The only negative about the unit (same as two years ago) is the fact that the exhaust fan in the bathroom automatically comes on when the light is turned on. This creates unnecessary noise. It would require rewiring the light. However, this is a minor annoyance.

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Cabins! It's our getaway with the grands when we come to visit Mount Pleasant. The units are small so it's what I call camping with and indoor kitchen and bathroom. It fits the bill perfectly for our use. The kids are still small enough to be able to sleep on the sofa sleepe-r it does have a bar that goes across the middle of the back if you're heavier or an adult – so word of caution there. We are on the second floor so we have a nice view of the ocean and sunrise. We slept well and typically during the Thanksgiving season it is definitely not crowded and a most enjoyable experience.

Sea Cabin Condos complex is well maintained. The parking lot has been repaved since last year. The association puts money back into the complex on a regular basis.

This is a great unit. I needs a new mattress badly. I would recommend the unit. We were not told the pier was off limits due to damage and were coming with a group for husband's fishing so were disappointed.

Before I booked Sea Cabin 243C,I had read a review about the bed not being good. I called and they assured me that the bed had been replaced.The bed had not been replaced and was terrible. It made our back hurt hips and shoulders. (I have since visited a Chiropractor and got a massage). I tried sleeping on the couch but the refrigerator roared like a train. There was a chest of drawers on the bottom bunk so I could not sleep there and there were no curtain on the bunk beds either. There was no rug on the floor like in the picture. There was a rug out on the balcony that was dirty and Sandy thrown in the corner. In the bath The fan and like we're on the same switch so you couldn't even relax and take a hot bath to relieve your back without it annoying you. The cabin was dirty and meeded TLC. The View and balcony it's only asset. I went to the office to talk with someone and they said I would receive a call, which I never did. I emailed and received a message that someone would talk to me soon. No one ever got back to me. I called and someone said they would forward it to a woman named Linda. She never called me back either. Our whole vacation was a bust. I guess I will stay at the Hilton Garden next time. I have stayed at the Sea Cabins two times before, and they were very lovely, but this time, it was not a good experience. It has a wonderful pool, pier and great beach access that is so attractive, but if you cannot sleep and the bed hurts you, then you just want to go home, whuch we did leave 2 days early. I do not recommend the Sea Cabins, just not 243 C.

We do want you to know that the mattress had been replaced this year. Mattresses are very hard to please everyone, some prefer a firm mattress, some a softer one. Thank you for sharing with us the information about the bathroom fan and the refrigerator noises. We have scheduled this for our maintenance department. Even though the weather was a bit chilly I was able to walk the beach for a few hours each day. This was a very reasonably priced accommodation. I am planning on staying at the Sea Cabins for a month next winter. The monthly rentals are about half price.

You really can't beat the location! Beautiful view of the private pier and ocean. Unit was perfect for 2 adults, 1 teen, & 1 child. Super clean with all the utensils you could possibly need. Plenty of linens as well. Communication throughout the reservation process and during our stay was awesome. Very short walk to main street strip and the Sea Biscuit (a must for breakfast). 15 mins to Charleston or Sullivans Island. Highly recommend!

A Pretty Good Experience but...

The furniture was basically uncomfortable - for a beach property I would have preferred a brighter decor and certainly with chairs that were not scratchy "wool " type of fabric. Sofa was OK comfortable - did not like fabric - the " lounge " chairs were not comfortable..The one " leather " chair was OK - but not comfortable..Outdoors there was a hideous, old plastic green chair - I would toss that out.

Additionally the Air Conditioning was not working properly for the first 22 hours of the 4 day stay.. Maintenance was very nice and did make several trips to get problem corrected but we should have been compensated in some way for the terrible inconvenience..

One burner on stove did not work... others were fine

I guess your description of " good condo " is about accurate although I would give it slightly south of good - but not bad.

The beach was GREAT!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was nice, and the only downside was the exhaust fan in the bathroom. You could not shut it off without turning out the light. Very annoying. Otherwise the layout was very well thought out, and we had everything we needed.

We were extremely pleased with our vacation rental. The community itself was very peaceful and quaint. The location gave a feel of living in the beach community rather than spending a week amongst cheesy vacation attractions. The building was very solid and laid out well so we were not bothered by other visitors.

The cabin we rented was basic but very clean & comfortable. It was very well stocked with everything we might need and more. I would recommend the second floor, as this was is. The view was well worth climbing one flight of stairs but the third floor would have been too much for us with as many times as we came and went. The view of the beach was wonderful and we loved being able to watch the sunrise every morning.

We really enjoyed being able to walk to a quaint breakfast restaurant in the morning, for a long walk along the beach, and then walk to a nice spot for dinner. We really had a wonderful vacation there and would highly recommend this location and particular cabin.

The only negative we experienced was that there seems to be a lot made of the private beach access. People were coming and going on each side of the facility all throughout the day. The box for the private code to the beach didn't even work. I'm not sure it even mattered during our visit because we were there after the busy season and it seems to be a very safe community. We also saw staff patrolling the parking lot to ensure adequate parking.

I really enjoyed my stay in this unit. I was very impressed with how clean it was. It was well supplied with the basics (cookware, dishes, toiletries, etc). You can't beat the location and view of the ocean. It was just so cozy and comfortable it felt like home. Concierge service was the best. I enjoyed not having to carry a beach chair and umbrella everyday. They do it for you! If you love the sun and the beach then the Sea Cabins is your best bet. I'd prefer to stay at Sea Cabins as opposed to any hotel in the area.

Each of our rental properties will come with a toaster in the kitchen for guest use.

All rental properties will also come equipped with an initial setup of toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, dishwashing soap, and dishwasher detergent. These items are not replenished once they run out. You should either plan to bring extra supplies and any other paper or cleaning products you may need during your stay, or purchase them after you arrive.
