BEAUTIFUL five bedroom elevated home with 6 full bathrooms on a quiet cul-de-sac in Wild Dunes, just steps from the beach! Beach access is just 150 feet, less than a minutes walk. This is a large home with amazing space. Perfect for family vacations and golf get aways! Beautifully decorated throughout, you can enjoy a partial ocean view from the 2nd and 3rd floor balconies or simply walk 150 feet and soak up the ocean sunset from the beach itself. The main living area is on the second floor and features an expanded open living area with large dining room with a large dining table that seats 8 plus additional seating for 4 at the bar. On this same floor you will find a bedroom and 2 full bathrooms. Moving up to the third floor, the property features a large primary bedroom with access to a covered porch and ensuite bathroom. There are 3 additional bedrooms on this same floor and they each boast a private/ensuite bathroom.

Wash off the beach sand, in the garage where there are 2 outdoors. This home also provides a Gas Grill - Propane tanks can be exchanged at our office during regular business hours. ****Please note that Summer House Condo's (an adjacent complex) will be doing exterior refacing from 1st of September 2024 to the end of May 2025 and, from 1st of September 2025 to the end of May 2026. This work could be loud at times. ****

- Beach towels and beach chairs are not provided but are available through local Beach Chair and Umbrella Rental companies.

- Motor homes, trailers, boats, golf carts, and motorcycles are not allowed within the gates of Wild Dunes.

This is a return trip to 2 Summer Dunes. Bathrooms were not cleaned, old soap and empty containers. There is major construction next door, with workers arriving at 7:30am including Saturdays. A good cleaning, extermination and updates need to be done. We had a good experience last year, but will be looking for a new property for next year.

If you are a regular with us then you know this is not our standard and do apologize for this error. Regarding the construction at Summer House, we hate this as well. We have this disclosed in our property description online and will continue to up date as we know more.

We stayed in this house last year and really love it. It is well appointed and very comfortable. The pots and pans are showing some wear and tear and probably close to needing replaced. We would definitely stay in this house again.

Wonderful stay. Each bedroom has a private en suite and the extra bathroom on the main floor that isn’t shared with a bedroom is a nice bonus. There is tons of pantry and cabinet storage in the kitchen. The house is a short walk to the beach.
The only downside is the lack of beach view but the house is so nice, it would not deter me from renting again.

Beautiful home; so close to the beach! Probably one of the most well stocked homes we’ve ever rented. Spent Christmas week with our grown children and grandchildren and never felt cramped. What a plus that everyone had their own bathroom too. The only suggestion I could make would be to bring a good night light for the stairway landing. Three people in our party stumbled on the one step down to the next level of the stairway. A simple fix for a beautiful vacation home!

Great house for a great weekend!

We were 4 couples getting together for the UGA/USC game. Decided to spend our money on golf, beach, spa and food rather than football tickets. This house was perfect! Comfortable beds, steps away from the beach, great golf courses and the spa was amazing for the girls. Ordered in Lowcountry boil to enjoy after a day of golf and watched all the games on Saturday. Hoping to plan this as an annual trip!

This beautiful house worked out perfect for our family. Very convenient to the beach and well appointed. The only suggestion I would have is to upgrade the stove and the refrigerator. We had to adjust the burners on the stove so the pans would not slide off and the refrigerator was a bit small but it worked out fine. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to rent.

This location was perfect! Not on the beach but extremely close. House was mostly well appointed and clean. There is definitely some wear and tear but that’s to be expected and wasn’t a deal breaker. Beds were comfortable and the house was spacious, perfect for my group of 10. One of the burners on the stove wouldn’t heat up and the coffee pot wasn’t great. It leaked when pouring and took a long time to brew, no pause function on the pot. There were exactly 10 bath towels which was kind of odd, no extras but there was a washer/dryer. The house had a beach cart, wagon, and beach toys which was great! The grill propane tank was empty but a quick trip down to island realty with the empty to replace it for free was easy enough. Overall it was a 4.5 star stay and we throughly enjoyed our stay! We would book again!

Good house for a large group. We had eight (65 year old)ladies in town for a tennis tournament and this house was perfect. Each bedroom has a private bath + one extra...6 full bathrooms! Nice big tables inside and out for meals and games. Good beds, pillows and linens. Very clean. We did not go on the beach, but it would be a great location for beach lovers.

We stayed in this house for 5 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. It as well layed out and very nicely furnished and finished. If you are a cook, the kitchen will make you a little crazy - the stove is bad but that was our only negative. They also could make the underneath entryway cuter but it is not a big deal at all. It is just a few steps from the beach and it is a very quiet little street. There is a view of the ocean from one balcony. I would definitley recommend this house.

Had a wonderful stay at 2 Summer Dunes. Access to the beach was unbeatable. The house met our needs. Heat went out during the coldest weather in January but Island Realty worked quickly to resolve the issue. Could use more comfortable living room furniture

Comfortable and clean beach house rental. Parking for at least three cars and just steps from the beach. All the rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. The kitchen and dining space was a little cramped but fit our group nicely and had scenic views from the covered porches.

We were so blessed the owners and Island Realty offered this home to us for a last minute needed getaway. It is the IDEAL home for mixed ages or other small groups. This home was beautifully decorated with personalized touches. The layout was perfect for gathering at mealtimes and enjoying one another. The kitchen was roomy and well stocked. The beds were heavenly. I can’t say enough good things. An added plus was the downstairs showered to rinse sand off
children (and adults!). Thank you Island Realty for recommending this home to us!

Wow! What a fabulous home! We were a group of 9 women and we had plenty of room. There are five bedrooms and a bath in each one this is great the beach is just a few steps away the kitchen has everything you need to cook a great would certainly stay here again if we come back to Charlesron!

We stayed at 2 Summer Dunes for a long girls' weekend. The house was spread out beautifully to allow everyone room to get ready and sleep. We also had plenty of space to comfortably relax in the common areas. The walk to the beach was easy, and the garage space was nice. All of us loved it!

Our family has been renting A Christmas House for over 14 years. We come together from all the U.S. We have been as far as Vermont. This year we were smaller in number so the house was perfect in size. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.The house was great and had such a warm cozy feel to it. As usual Island Realty was great.They even had all of the items that we left behind bagged and ready for me to pick up (smile)! Our experience with them is usually in August.I guess they are on top of the game at all times. Oh also, the house was well kept and had all of the necessary supplies and amenities. Thank You for helping to make our Christmas "warm and cozy". Happy New Year !!!!

What is your cancellation policy?

Answer:

You can cancel your reservation; however, you will not get a refund unless the property is re-rented for the same dates and rate as your reservation.

Island Realty has a 10% cancellation fee, and the remainder of your deposit is held pending the re-rental of the property.

If you are paid in full for the reservation, all money will be held until we can re-rent the property. If the property is not re-booked, the entire balance will be forfeited to Island Realty, regardless of whether or not a full deposit was made at the time of booking.

Purchasing travel insurance may help with a reimbursement if cancellation is prompted by an extenuating circumstance. Read more about travel insurance HERE.

How it the WiFi connection?

Answer:

While we are unsure of the speeds you require for work, we can speak to the fact that no guests of this property have voiced any complaints regarding speed, etc. Like with any provider, we are at Comcast's mercy if their equipment and lines should go down for some reason, but our maintenance team is always on standby to help in any way they can should the need arise.
