This condo was beautifully decorated with an incredible view over the pool and the ocean. The location was perfect for ennui the beach and getting to restaurants and downtown Charleston. The only issue was the elevator in the building was not consistently working.

Every aspect of the experience was excellent except for one thing! When we stopped to pick up the keys we should have received a map of Wild Dunes! The property was so much bigger than we expected and we did not know where anything was located!

Stayed over a long weekend. Weather was cold but the Condo was in a perfect location with a beautiful view. I have stayed in a lot of condos over my years however this condo was EXTREMELY clean which is a huge perk for me. Enjoyed our stay and appreciate the owners attention to detail!

We enjoyed another relaxing and enjoyable 2 weeks at Christmas on the IOP staying at Summerhouse. We've used Island Realty for 20 years now and have never been disappointed. The places we have stayed have always clean and beautifully decorated. Cooper has helped me many times making our arrangements. He's always been polite and helpful. We KNOW we'll return next Christmas if not sooner!

This rental unit was just beautiful - well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, great beds and best of all wonderful views of the beach from the main room and bedroom. I loved that they had beach chairs we could use, and would stay there again.

This was the first time staying at wild dunes. Normally we stay at the sea cabins. The property was clean and loved the layout of the room. Since we normally stay on the strip, we are used to walking to to shops and restaurants. This time we had to drive. The drive was short and was able to find parking. Really liked this property and will definitely consider it in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at Summer House 405. We have been staying in this unit for 20 or more years. We typically visit twice a year. The new owners did an excellent job with the renovations. It was nice to finally have a TV in the secondary bedroom. We look forward to returning to island in 2022 if we can afford it. The rental price for this unit increased by around a $1000.00 dollars for the week versus what we have been paying. I would like for the owners to consider changing the weekly rentals during the Summer months to Saturday to Saturday. It's hard for people that have to travel a long distance and return back to work on Monday with a Sunday to Sunday rental. We love the Isle of Palms.

The condo was great. Very well stocked. Great location. Great view of the beach in the pool. Very accommodating. The only feedback I have is that the master bed was very soft. A little bit too soft in my opinion. Other than that it was really a great day

Loved everything about this rental condo. It was comfortable and cozy. Great ocean views, large balcony, well-equipped, check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the maintenance staff was super responsive with the small issue we had with the lock on the door. When we return to IOP, we will stay here again!

This was our first stay on Isle of Palms. This condo is beautiful. Clean, well stocked from plenty of towels to tape and scissors to sand toys and pool noodles. Ok just everything you need for a great stay. The condo was very clean, smelled just cleaned upon arrival. The resort itself is also clean and very well maintained. Beautiful wide beach, not at all crowded. Easy check in with Island Realty.

We have rented rented through Island Realty for over 20 years. We typically visit twice and year and we always book Summer House 405. The staff is always friendly and they offer competitive rates. The condo was thoroughly cleaned and organized. There was a notable difference since we stayed there in June. We look forward to many more vacations on the Isle of Palms and in Summerhouse 405.

All great except our initial arrival experience. We had not visited here before and the person who checked us in didn't give any directions to the property, didn't offer a map, etc. We couldn't find it and had to come back for more info and even then had a hard time finding it.

Island Realty was super quick and friendly at check in. Overall, the property itself was what we needed. Some things such as decor is outdated and missing items in kitchen such as measuring spoons) but it all served its purpose as we really wanted a place right out to the beach so location was perfect. Overall the property was pretty clean, but there were layers of dust on the blinds in the front bedroom and we were also located next to the trash closet. Convenient, but by the end of the week, the front bedroom wreaked of hot garbage because the smell was leaking over.

Island Realty was AWESOME! We had a wonderful vacation, we really took advantage of all that Wild Dunes has to offer because of Covid. Condo was good, could use a some decor updating. It was clean, all appliances worked, air conditioning was great in the main living area and back bedroom (but did not work as well in the front bedroom). We would definitely stay here again!

We always have a great time on IOP. We've been coming for about 20 years and been celebrating Christmas there for many years. The unit is always clean and ready for us. We feel safe and comfortable in the same unit. Although we both had colds, we didn't mind laying on the sofas and enjoying the view of the beach! We look forward to being there next Christmas...if not before! Hoping for a "frequent flyer" discount!

Great location and condo. Nice pool area but be aware of the lengthy walk to the ocean, might be tough for some. Overall great location. Wild Dunes is the best. Great trails for running and biking.

Spent the whole month of March in SH405 enjoying beach and visiting all the historic sites we could. Weather was cool but almost always sunny.Windy! Condo was comfortable, clean, convenient, very nice appliances & kitchen well could use more light.
Service issues handled promptly & nicely. Beautiful grounds. Porch view superb!2 of us found it very comfortable. TV capabilities minimal;cable quirky, no streaming; picture good; DVD player available. Mostly 5 stars all around!

The location was great, the condo was great, we had everything we needed for my 5 person family. The place was exactly as described. I would stay here again. My only complaint was the garbage situation. The designated trash areas should be cleaned daily and there should be a clearly marked location for trash vs recycle.

The location of Summerhouse 405 is excellent. Great views of the ocean and the pool. We have stayed in 405 for at least 10 years and we usually visit the island twice a year. The condo is starting to show some age. The Bed spreads and furniture in the living room could use some updating. The kitchen utensils, pots and pans etc. are starting to disappear. Overall this is a nice unit and we plan to visit again later this year. The staff at Island Realty are always very friendly and great to work with.

We spent four nights in this condo. 2 adults, 2 little kids and an infant. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable beds. The beach has awesome sea shells and great ocean view. There is soft sand, as in knee deep sand holes that we fell in to so walking to the ocean was a tricky situation, however it didn't bother us much. The beach was quiet. Perfect getaway if you want to relax. Not perfect if you want to be busy with tourist attractions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Summer House. The condominium was lovely and well supplied with all that we needed for cooking The owners even had beach chairs for us to use They also provided all kinds of extras like books, puzzles, and games to enjoy! We were very pleased with our stay and hope to come back! There is nothing like visiting this area, in our estimation, you have the beach plus Charleston nearby......a little touch of heaven!

We loved this condo. It has a great location, great view, and it was quiet. The condo itself was nice. Beds were good; nice TV's; games to play; stocked with the few utensils we needed. Great beach too! The management company left a little to be desired, but we'd definitely stay here again.

Overall it was great. The condo was spacious enough for 4 adults and two children. The kitchen was well stocked with the exception of plastic cups for children. Parking was good.
The washer and dryer were nice but the dryer did take a long time to dry even small loads. We were sure to clean the vent screen each time but it did not make a difference.
The only other issue we had was the lack of TV/DVD player in the bedroom with two beds and the lack of DVD player in the living room or internet available TVs in any of the rooms. We brought DVDs for the family to watch but could not as there was no player in the living room. Also the master bedroom tv could only view what was watched in the living room.
The description indicated the unit had a blow dryer but upon arrival there was none so we had to buy one.
Beach access was good and the pool was nice. We would stay in Wild Dunes again but would likely select a different unit unless the TV and Dryer situation changed.

Pros: The condo has a nice view, quiet beach and recently remodeled pool area. The house was comfortable and the beds were great. The kitchen was fully stock except for dish soap and dishwashing soap(so be prepared) which caused us to have to go to the store(~15 minutes away) shortly after arriving. The condo was clean except for the dishes/glasses.

Cons: The pots/pans are scratched up and the bed pillows were stained yellow - need to be replaced. So bring your own pillows until they are replaced.

Was the perfect break from our south east college campus tour road trip. The condo was very clean with a great view and perfect location. Fully equipped with kitchen equipment to playing cards to beach chairs and beach toys. Perfect place to just sit on the beach and relax or travel out to dinner in Charleston or over to the marina to kayak or jet ski. Great for a small family vacation.
