Enjoy incredible ocean views from this beautifully renovated 3rd floor villa! This three bedroom, three bath condo is crisp, open, and airy! It boasts a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of storage, a dining area with seating for four, and a living room with comfortable furnishings (new in Spring '15), a large flat screen television, and direct access to the private balcony overlooking the ocean. The condo offers two guest bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two twins, each with a separate full bath that is shared with the hall. The master offers a king bed, a sitting area with a wall mounted flat screen television, a full private bath with a walk-in shower and garden tub, and direct access to the balcony. Elevator access. WiFi. Linens. No smoking. No pets.

Heavy machinery and equipment may be in use and near this complex or beach access during the span of the project. First time to stay at "1140 Ocean Blvd". 3 bedroom, 3 bath ocean front unit on
rd floor. Had some issues with lights out, wi fi. Island Realty rep, Aine, had all the problems solved. Stayed in touch to make sure. Made it a great vacation.

Master bedroom blinds broke but drapes worked just fine. small stain on carpet. only eight forks. We would choose the unit again. Everything else was great.

The furniture looks really nice, however there really was only one chair that was comfortable for tall [5'6"] people to sit upon in the living room. So it was a mad scramble to see who claimed the one chair first

Couldn't ask for a better experience from island realty, they were great. The condo was great easy to access from the elevator. View of the ocean is spectacular. The only thing I didn't like was the couch, I have a bad knee and it was hard for me to get up off it. However my husband loved it. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were really comfortable. My little grandson loved the big tub in the master bedroom. Over all a great experience.

We were actually quite disappointed with the unit. For $4000 a week, it was dirty. There was black mold in the bathroom near the air vents, black mold in master bathroom shower, about a years worth of dust and dirt built up on the air return in the kitchen, and general dirt throughout. I recognize that the property is a rental and there is high traffic coming and going. However, all of these things should have been addressed by the cleaning crew. There was about an inch of dirt and dead bugs on top of the refrigerator. We killed at least four cockroaches running around the Unit and missed several others. The building is nice, the location is fantastic, and the views are amazing. It was disheartening that the unit was so dirty. It really soured our overall experience.

Condo 303 is nicely situated near the elevator. The kitchen is well equipped and large. The balcony has 2 nice chairs and a rocker. The master bedroom is spacious with a desk. The newly purchased wrap around couch in the living room is of poor quality and is very uncomfortable, low and hard to get out of. The main complaint is the carpet. It is badly stained and looks filthy. The tile in the hall is also in need of a good cleaning. The closets are full of stuff, like broken lamps, old curtain rods and bent slats from the vertical blinds. All this takes up needed closet space.

Overall a very good experience. Unit was clean and well supplied. Beds were very comfortable. Location was excellent. Big downside was that the living room furniture was not at all comfortable. The sofa and chairs not at all condusive to relaxed sitting. The main TV was excellent. The placement of the master bedroom TV was ackward.

The condo has a great location with restaurants and markets literally within walking distance. It was a luxury to have a grocery store, beverage store, and fresh seafood market less than a mile away. The unit was also spacious enough for my husband and I, along with 4 young adults, that we had our own space without feeling cramped. In addition, the kitchen was well equipped, allowing us to enjoy cooking family meals together.
Having read earlier reviews, it was evident that updates had been made to the decor. The unit was also clean upon our arrival, again in contrast to some earlier reviews. Island Reality was very responsive and helpful whenever we had any questions. When we had a small issue with the washing machine, a repairman arrived within an hour to fix the problem. We would also recommend downloading the Island Reality mobile app which contains a wealth of useful information!

We have rented from Island Realty for several years now. While we have been satisfied in the past, we were not satisfied this year with the condo. We have stayed for 3 years in the same building at IOP and stayed in the exact same condo this year as we did last year. Within one year, the quality of the condo had diminished considerably. There were stains on the rugs and carpets. The cleanliness of the condo was awful. The kitchen was dirty with food on the silverware along with the dishes. The couch smelled really badly almost to the point that you didn't want to sit on it. Most of the blankets appeared to not be clean. The dryer was full of old lint. Overall, it was not in good condition or the level of cleanliness that I expect in a rental.

Overall great stay, love the location and condo has a great view. Furniture in the condo leaves a lot to be desired. Couch is incredibly uncomfortable and other living room chairs are not great. The two large rugs in the living room and under the dining room table are hard and hurt to walk on without shoes. It would be helpful to have basic essentials provided in the kitchen (salt, pepper, oil, dish towel etc). Beds were comfortable and condo is almost soundproof which is nice. Will definitely be back to this area.

We had a fantastic time. Not only was the weather perfect, but the condo was amazing. Everything was clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the location was perfect. We feel that this must be the best location on the island as it is only about 20 minutes from downtown and near some really good restaurants in addition being right on the beach. The condo was very clean with some painting since our last stay. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The living room furniture is comfortable, the couch is great, but all of it is worn. The bed in the master bedroom is comfortable and the bath spacious. We liked the table and comfortable chair which was a nice workspace. The queen bedroom is a comfortable size with an attached bath. The twin bedroom is small and you have to walk out in the hall to get to the bathroom. With three bedrooms there is a loss of storage space which should not be a problem for short term rentals but was tight for long term renters like us. The carpets in all bedrooms are worn and spotted. We had a few minor maintenance problems and the staff has been very responsive to our needs. The parking is very convenient with two parking spaces and an elevator.

This was not our first stay here, and in fact, this condo has always been one of our first choices. This stay however found a condo in need of upkeep. The condo is "tired" looking. The master bath in particular has several maintenance issues including dirty grout in the shower that leaves you less than pleased to be bathing in it, a toilet that does not flush properly, and a faucet that squeels. Given the high cost of this rental, we will not return.

We had a wonderful time. We loved our Condo and the closeness of the beach and having a pool was an extra bonus. It was lots of fun to be close to the shops and restaurants. We spent two days sightseeing in Charleston and Mount Pleasant and loved the down home Southern feel of both. We can't wait to come back next year and possibly stay two weeks.

Right on the beach in the center of the little business District of Isle of Palms. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable master suite bed, Great view of the beach from the balcony, adequate furniture. Carpeting needs upgrading but it is clean and recently walls were repainted.

Our trip was an adventure for my 87-yr.-old mother, my sister and me. The elevator made coming and going a breeze and the condo was so spacious that everyone had private and communal space. The kitchen was well equipped although we never cooked with so many restaurants close by. Saving the best for last was the view. This was a must for my mother who loved sitting in the rocking chair and just watching people and the ocean. I would definitely recommend this spot.

Stressful and frustrating. No mattress pads on beds. Carpets had not been vacuumed. Bathroom mirrors not cleaned. Condo smelled like maple syrup. Stove top dirty. Dishwasher needs repair. Had A/C problems all week. Spent lots of time in condo waiting for repairmen.

We loved everything about this property except for its general condition, which I'm assuming will be improved in time for the 2016 rental season so that may not be an issue in the future. The view from the large balcony is spectacular, and the building's central location makes it easy to buy groceries and access the IOP Connector. My advice is talk to someone at the rental company in advance before considering renting this particular unit to ensure that the various maintenance items have been repaired. If not, there are other units in this same building available that are probably in better shape.

Visiting our son in Charleston, always enjoy staying in IOP on the beach. Nice furnished condo, very comfortable!! Have stayed at this facility on previous visit. Will book again on future stay!!
