Celebrating Easter in Charleston

If you're vacationing to the Lowcountry and looking for options on how to celebrate Easter this year, we're here to help!

These are ways that you can enjoy togetherness with your family, while still staying safe and abiding by local guidelines!

  • Enjoy Easter Services virtually/in person at any of the below churches:
    • Isle of Palms First United Methodist Church
    • Isle of Palms Baptist Church
    • Sunrise Presbyterian Church
      • 6:45 a.m. Sunrise Service on the beach at Breach Inlet
      • 9 a.m. service
      • 11 a.m. service
    • Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church (Sullivan's Island)
      • 8 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 5:30 PM (11:30 and 5:30 are Traditional Latin Mass)
    • Sullivan's Island Baptist Church
    • St. Michael's Church
      • 6:30 AM, 7:30 AM, 9 AM, 11 AM
  • Attend the 19th Annual Easter Promenade in Downtown Charleston (presented by the Hat Ladies)
  • Host an Easter egg hunt at your rental! Hide them behind the couch, under the bushes, in the pool (if your home has a private pool,) wherever you can think of! This will be a great way for the kids to still have some fun and keep the holiday traditions!
  • Go out with the family for Sunday brunch
    • Brunch is a highlight of any weekend outing throughout the year in Charleston, but especially on Easter Sunday! These are some of our favorites:
      • Acme Lowcountry Kitchen (Isle of Palms)
      • High Thyme Cuisine (Sullivan's Island)
      • The Obstinate Daughter (Sullivan's Island)
      • Page's Okra Grill (Mount Pleasant)
      • Mill St. Tavern (Mount Pleasant)
      • Millers All Day (Downtown Charleston)
      • Eli's Table (Downtown Charleston)
