This is a lovely home on a quiet street close to the beach in IOP. It was our first time there and we loved being able to walk to the ocean for sunrise and how close it is to the grocery and restaurants.

We made the mistake of walking to dinner (ACME) our first night, which is physically not a long trip, but the main roads are poorly lit at night and very busy. Besides walking the beach there is only one main road to get from the house to the restaurants/bars/shopping by foot. As someone who loves to walk when I travel, I had perused Google Maps and checked out distances, but didn't realize the main road was so heavily traveled. Just a heads up for anyone like me!

The beds were comfy, lots of sitting areas inside and outside, a beautiful yard with shade trees and birds to enjoy. The kitchen was well-appointed for our daily breakfasts. The neighborhood is very quiet and relaxed. NOT a party place. Perfect for a chill family vacation.

This rental is just perfect. Beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms. Great screened in porch and deck areas. It couldn't be more perfect. My only suggestion: provide a wagon for carting items to the beach. The beach access is at the end of the street, which is convenient, but it is a good walk when your hands are full. (Noted in description). You also have the choice of driving and parking at the beach access, which we did. In the off season parking is not a problem. This is a win-win rental, just perfect.

Great Stay

Set up perfectly for our family retreat. We had our kids (14 and 9) along with one set of grandparents. House is set in a great location with easy access to the beach as well as getting on and off the island. Higher end furnishings for a rental, very comfortable beds and entertaining areas. Great value for the overall price.

House is as advertised. Porches are great, and house is very large for a three bedroom, plenty of space and well equipped. Though beach chair and umbrella were not promised, we appreciated that there were some we could use. Some downsides were not related to the house but to service from Island Realty. Some of which was fast and great, but some definitely impacted our stay:
-Biggest thing: one of the fire alarms apparently is sensitive to humidity. As a result, it went off and we had to get maintenance to come. They determined it was fine but it later went off again after hours and they neither sent someone that night nor even replied to our call. If I hadn't stacked up furniture and stood on it to pull down the alarm, we couldn't have stayed in the house that night because it was so loud. That seemed kind of crazy given how much we had paid for the stay.
-Small stuff like AC not being adjustable until we got maintenance to come, or not having info about how to turn off big floodlights outside the house. Both of these things were attended to quickly by Island Realty.

We have been to IOP several times and this was one of our favorite properties. The layout was spacious and design was gorgeous and up to date. Everything about the space was new, clean, and well thought out. The proximity to the beach was a nice feature. We did have a couple of issues with the home (door lock broke, AC wasn’t running well) and they were both handled immediately and professionally. We highly recommend this home!

We had such a lovely time. Island Realty, as always, was kind and accommodating. We loved the short walk to the beach and were able to get to the IOP park a few days as well. (The house is a close walk to both.) It was so clean, and our kids loved playing and reading on the screened in porch.

This house to rent is absolutely perfect in every way!
Honestly... I thought it would be nice, but it exceeded our expectations. We stayed for a long weekend as my daughter was being surprised engaged!!!! A FABULOUS TRIP !!!! (rent a golf cart too, so fun)

This was one of the best houses we've stayed at on IOP. The house overall was very clean. The decorations were perfect, beds were comfortable, big enough to have alone time and family time. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and deck to relax with coffee and a book in the morning and evening. The walk to the beach was easy, but we were also able to park and walk with ease. The location was great. A short drive to the store, gift shops, and connector bridge. We would stay here again in a heart beat!

We have rented this unit before. We like the location and the space available especially the backyard and porches. Some furniture and rugs need maintenance. Things are looking a bit rough especially the couches in the living room. A little TLC would be great.

Beautiful beach home 2 blocks from the beach. Nice and quiet residential neighborhood. Accommodations were excellent. Provided towels, linens and a starter kit which included dishwasher detergent, soap, laundry detergent etc. kitchen well equipped with everything you need. High end appliances. Beds were so comfortable. Screened in porch was so nice to relax in throughout our stay. Would come back. Highly recommend!! So clean. Not one complaint!!

Cute house!

We had a great visit to Isle of Palms at this home. The proximity to the beach and grocery and restaurants was super. The house was so cute and updated; we enjoyed the screened in patio and two dining tables. The description should be corrected. There are two king beds and one of the upstairs beds is a queen. The upstairs bedrooms are fine, the downstairs is a palace.

The house is in very good condition. Plenty of room for a family to enjoy. We loved the screen porch in the morning. Kitchen has all the necessary equipment. It was great with extra refrigerator space in the laundry room. A very quiet street with a large back yard. Only negative is the bedrooms get hot when the doors are closed. So, we needed to leave the doors open to help get ac to the bedroom.

There are two TVs available for use in this rental property. One in the living room and one in the first floor master bedroom. They both have smart streaming capabilities only (guests may log into their applications or watch the free application uploaded to the TV. There is no attached cable).

Answer:

You can cancel your reservation; however, you will not get a refund unless the property is re-rented for the same dates and rate as your reservation.

Island Realty has a 10% cancellation fee, and the remainder of your deposit is held pending re-rental of the property.

If you are paid-in-full for the reservation, all money will be held until we can re-rent the property. If the property is not re-booked, the entire balance will be forfeited to Island Realty, regardless of whether or not a full deposit was made at the time of booking.
