In 2023, this house was torn down and rebuilt to almost 3,000 square feet with all new amenities, new appliances, furniture and décor. The first floor features an expanded floor plan with an open kitchen featuring new Bertazzoni appliances, a large kitchen table that seats 8, an island with sink that seats 3 and a coffee station. An open living room with sectional sofa leads to a large primary bedroom en-suite with a Sleep Number King Bed, 55” SmartTV, oversized walk-in shower, jacuzzi-like tub, and custom walk-in closet. A private Captain’s Lounge with wet bar, SmartTV, Sonos SoundBar and an electric fireplace overlooks the Pelican Bay lagoon. The mudroom offers laundry and storage space. All this, plus a covered porch with Adirondack chairs provides southern charm over-looking our giant Southern Magnolia tree.

The second floor provides 3 spacious bedrooms, a bonus surf loft area with a 75” LED SmartTV, and an office space also with 55" SmartTV and SONOS sound bar -- Perfect for remote workers and studying. There is a Jack-n-Jill full bathroom attached to the secondary king bedroom (with a Sleep Number Mattress) en-suite and office, and there is a shared bath with tub situated between a queen bedroom and another bedroom with two full beds. A secondary laundry area is also provided. Upstairs you will also find a porch with 2 Adirondack Chairs that makes this home even more comfortable for that relaxing vacation you've been dreaming about.

The ground level features an outdoor shower, garage space and access to the first-floor mudroom.

The house is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, DirecTV STREAM and multi-zone central A/C (HVAC).

Local golf, tennis, pickleball, and bicycle rentals all located in the Wild Dunes area. There is plenty of dining options in Wild Dunes along with an amazing spa!

Unfortunately, motor homes, trailers, boats and motorcycles are not allowed in Wild Dunes Resort.

Our family of 8 adults and 2 babies had the absolute best vacation. We always love wild dunes, but as our family grows it gets harder to find the right spaces. This home was perfect. Spacious, great seating, new appliances, comfortable beds, and excellent proximity to the pool and beach. A definite repeat!!

We had a great time in Wild Dunes. The house was great, conveniently located, and worked really well for our family. Literally the only thing I would mention is that we tried to work the ice maker for two days and finally gave up and had to buy ice.

Our family enjoyed this beautiful home close to the beach, comfortable beds, beautifully decorated, lots of space to spread out, great kitchen (bring your own crockpot & extra dish towels), outdoor shower with warm water was a huge bonus, very clean home. Highly recommend this house to anyone traveling to IOP.

We txtd with maintenance 1 time re garbage disposal and they were very responsive guiding us thru resetting the 2 button unique setup at this house

Only recommendation for property mgmt company was the nearby community pool water appeared unclean. Water was cloudy vs clear. We spent most of our time at the beach so not a big issue for us.

This cozy home lives up to its online photos, description, & more. Great location for beach-walking, bicycling; & easy access to Charleston, county parks, sites of interest, & national forest. We “wintered” here (January-March) & had plenty to do, while feeling comfortable & safe, with just enough conveniences on Isle of Palms & nearby Sullivan’s Island. We’d highly recommend both Island Realty & this particular property. The only amenity we missed was an outdoor grill. The well-appointed kitchen made up for that, & we quickly came to understand why such a lovely neighborhood might want to keep renters’ fire hazards at a minimum! Bottom line: all good.

We had a great week at IOP, We loved the Wild Dunes area and the close proximity to the pool and beach.

My only concern is the cleanliness of the rental. There were clothes in drawers and papers from the previous weeks renters... It was not appropriate for my teenage son to get into his room and open drawers to find female underwear and clothes. Just weird and I think a quick look thru could have prevented that moment. I did go thru and make sure that we threw away everything we found and left the place cleaner than we found it. Because that is the right thing to do...

This home was professionally decorated and very clean. Great location, close to the beach and other amenities. Nice deck and screened in porch. Island Realty was excellent. Just as note for large families and those with small kids/toddlers. The living area space is a bit small and has lots of high end decorating that would be tempting to play with. Also the TV is mounted so high up above the fireplace it is difficult to watch. Overall this home was extremely nice and maintained.

Great location- an easy walk or golf cart ride to the beach.

Wonderful vacation house! Great location, beach access is just steps away. Love all the paths to jog or walk on in Wild Dunes. House is very nicely maintained. We love the extra space outside in the screened porch with TV. Even during July, we could still enjoy watching TV out there and morning coffee. The couple of issues we had, Island Realty took care of in less than 1 hour. Their rental service is the best we've experienced. Pool was closed because of COVID-19... only bummer that we weren't expecting. We would stay here again.

This house is steps from the beach access as described. Lovely house, well kept. AC works great and so does WiFi. We had 2 issues. The dishwasher does not heat and sanitize the dishes. I had to rewash everything by hand and the upper oven heating component not working. Kitchen well stocked for cooking needs. Plenty of pillows and blankets. This location is great if you want to be near beach but if you have teenagers who can’t drive ferrying them back and forth to the Pavillon can be tedious, esp. on an holiday weekend when there is lots of traffic. Bike and walking path beautiful. Rent bikes to get around a bit quicker. We recommend this property. Gave cleanliness rating a 3 because dishes in cabinets were dirty (dishwasher needs to be repaired). House spotless everywhere else. Washer and dryer brand new and works perfectly.

We enjoyed our stay at 11 Pelican Bay. The location inside the resort was perfect...quiet but not too far away from the main area of the resort. Quick walk to beautiful, uncrowded beach and quicker to pool. House was clean and initial supplies were provided which was a nice start. We spent a great deal of time on the enclosed porch and on the front porch swing. The proximity to Charleston and area attractions such as a Patriots Point was wonderful.

We totally enjoyed our visit to Pelican Bay 11. Our favorite place was the back screened porch. So comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, flatware, pots and pans. An extra set of kitchen towels would have been nice. The property was clean and well maintained, and we would definitely rent again.

Lovely, nicely decorated home with great location within walking distance to pool and beach. Kitchen is very small and lacks storage for groceries, etc.. Bathrooms are very nice, but hot water supply was limited after a few showers. Beds were very firm, which may not appeal to everyone. Still a great rental with ample space for a family of 6.

This is second time we have rented this house, last time in 2012. House has been upgraded with new appliances and furniture. Decorated with nice beach attitude. Very short walk to beach with easy access. The only negative of this house is pool access — we were given one key faub to unlock pool gate, so difficult with family of 6 going different directions. A lady chose to sit next to the gate everday and very rude locking door and not allowing access to all my family, for the money paid in rent my entire family should have easy access with no rudeness from local residents. I would not rent in this neighborhood again if the pool situation remains the same, simply too many rentals in iop.

Our family had a lovely time at Isle of Palms at this cozy beach cottage in the Wild Dunes area. It is decorated tastefully with soothing beach colors and white ceramic sea themes with several areas to escape to for a nap or a good book. Charming screened in porch with views of the canal where you can hear the fish jump. Front porch with a swing wide enough for two to sit lengthwise. The ocean is a few steps across the street and down a path. Spent one afternoon on mopeds and toured Sullivans island as well as Fort Moultrie. I recommend you rent bikes ahead of time or bring your own as we were only able to secure bikes for one day and the island is very bike and pedestrian friendly.

We absolutely loved our vacation rental. We were super close to the beach, which was a very important factor when looking for a rental because we have three young children. We also loved the conciency of the pool. Sometimes we were the only ones in the pool! We were a short drive to local attractions and working with Island Reality was the most positive experience ever. It was our first time renting, so we were quite nervous. Not only were they amazing to work with, they had the solar eclipse glasses ready for us when we arrived ! What a pleasant surprise. We can't wait to come back and would definitely rent here again!

We loved our stay at Pelican Bay! There were 6 adults and two 1 year old babies that stayed here. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. We don't have any complaints besides the living room area and kitchen areas being a little tight, again with 6 adults. We loved the round table in the kitchen and the outside seating area. We might suggest finding a way to add a cabinet or free standing pantry for groceries. We stacked them on top of the refrigerator but it was difficult to get to everything. The location was super close to the beach and with two young children that was definitely a plus! The pool was great and it wasn't too packed.

We loved this whimsically decorated summer retreat! Easy walk to the beach and the pool. Our family spent a lot of time on the screened in porch, putting together puzzles and playing games. The kitchen was nicely stocked with items that I used to prepare our favorite meals. My only suggestion would be to properly find sheets that fit the mattress in the master suite. The foam topper that has been added to the mattress is a wonderful addition, however deep-fitted sheets need to be placed on this bed so that the sheets fit properly over the topper. Other than this, it is a precious place to vacation.
