Property was clean and good location from beach. Kitchen, bathroom, living area and bedroom were nice - although shelves in bathroom or hall would have provided better accessibility/storage.

Minor property issues included Refrigerator with missing shelf, non-working ice maker (reported to maintenance staff) rusted (mostly) non-usable beach chairs and no hot pads to remove oven items.

I have been staying at Sea Cabins for over 10 years and all of the units have been nice but I would say this one was my favorite. It was very nice and the mattress was great. Normally I don't sleep well away from home.

The unit was very nice and clean but it could use a new refrigerator. Ice maker didn't work and some shelves missing plus there was only 1 wine glass. It's still a nice unit.

This is our second time staying at Sea Cabin. The condo was beautifully decorated. It has a fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom was small but acceptable, but the mattress was too soft for me and my husband. I love staying at Sea Cabin and will stay again in the future.

Nice clean condo that suited our needs perfectly. Came down to spend a few days with our daughter and her family before our granddaughter goes off to college.
The staff was great. I had to call the office because ate was stuck at 75 and not go down. They came down the same day and corrected the issue.

Stayed at this condo for a long weekend to visit my new Granddaughter. The condo is well equipped with everything you need! It was clean and set up nicely! Excellent space for a couple and the views are great! Only downside I can say is that the coffee maker was a challenge and should probably be replaced. Thanks for a great stay!

This is my second year returning to the Sea Cabins - first time in cabin 210A. I loved this cabin. It felt like it had been possibly renovated recently - things were new and clean. The location is very good - I like being on the second or third floors for the views. The staff at the cabins is always wonderful. I like the maintenance man and the desk staff a lot. My only complaint about this cabin is that some of the electrical outlets were loose (like things would not stay plugged in well) and some of the lamps or overhead lights flickered (maybe bad wiring?). The bed was okay. The couch was comfortable and the pull out bed was not bad. Well stocked kitchen. I would return!

Nice location but very very small. The TVs were very old,not smart TVs so we only had cable .Needs a new refrigerator that has a working ice maker. Would be helpful if the condo had pot holders and a few extra dish towels. Overall very overpriced for the size of the condo. We rented a lovely 4 bedroom house at Holden Beach NC with its own pool right on the beach for just $200 more a week so we won’t be back.

Been visiting the area since 2005. Have stay in different places. This was the first time in Sea Cabins. Not huge but was perfect for the 2 of us. Of course, the location is perfect. The views were great and distance to pool or beach was great. Always easy to go through Island Realty.

I might suggest that the owners create more spaces for the guests who sleep on the hide-away in the living room so they would have places to store their things. Possibly the decorative table and wall art in the spot where the bunk beds used to be could be replaced w furniture with drawers and a mirror above (there is only 1 mirror in the bathroom and 1 behind the door in the bedroom). The owner might also organize the closets/pantry in the hallway for storage for guests. There is also a spot behind the door in the bathroom that would benefit w a table or other storage for guests. Overall, very pleased with the unit. I just wanted to reorganize for efficiency!

I must say this was the perfect place for our honeymoon. Restaurants and bars within 5 minutes walking distance .the place gets locked up in the evening keeping people off the beach from coming up through the complex .the private fishing pier was unbelievable. And I got the best sunset picture I've ever took .must say everything on this facility was clean and well lit at night ,including the pier. Cant wait to come back

Overall the unit was nicely furnished and comfortable. I love the remodeled bathroom that is a great use of space. We used to stay at Sea Cabins every summer when our kids were small and I remember the bathrooms as tiny and crowded with so many doors. However, there was a musty smell every time we entered. I know it’s the beach but perhaps an air purifier might help. There was also a shortage of coffee mugs and glasses (especially wine glasses) that was a little annoying since I had to keep washing them. An update of dishes and glassware would help. Overall, we had a wonderful time because we love IOP and love looking at the ocean.

We loved the area. The unit was clean and looks like its picture. When we arrived the unit smell wasn't very pleasant but feel like it needed aired out. So after we sprayed it down with lysol and opened up the doors for an amazingly great cross breeze the stale/musty odors significantly decreased. We'd rent it again, but would come armed with lysol at the ready.

We have been coming to the sea cabins during the last week of October for the last 6 years and have never been disappointed. This year was special as we had friends that live in North Carolina and Murray lake South Carolina come visit us for the weekend. Truly one of the best times I’ve ever had while vacationing. The condo slept 4 adults with no problem and we were able to pull the nice table and chair set in from the balcony for a hand of euchre in the evenings !

I liked several things about this unit: (1) The absence of build in bunk beds make the unit feel larger. (2) The absence of the door between the bathroom and bedroom made the bathroom feel much larger. (3) The walk in shower was AWESOME. (4) The bed was very comfortable... especially since I was alone and could sleep in the middle. (5) The unit was EXTRA clean which was a huge positive.

I don't have any complaints. But, an observation.
The one time I used the microwave I noticed the handle was missing which made it a little more challenging to open.

This was our second stay at Sea Cabins. The customer service has been superior. The grounds were kept very clean. Our room was clean and stocked with hand sanitizer and supplies to clean dishes. I just trusted that proper sanitizing procedures had been used. My only ‘complaints’ are the couch in our room this time was less comfortable and our view was not as good. When we return, we will request 3rd floor in section B. Best views! Oh, 1 more thing, the pool is too small. We did not have space to enjoy it really.

The condo was super cute and clean. Very quiet with minimal noise from other units. The condos are close to the beach, and an easy walk. The beach was crowded, but it’s close to public assess. The only negative about the xoxo was the bed. The bed to be replaced, it’s sagging and dips in the middle. Otherwise a great place.

The property was as described. Proximity to the beach was great. The walls and ceiling were pretty thin and we had noisy neighbors, so it was loud in this condo. Also, the mattress was very worn down, so it took us a few nights before we could really sleep.

Our stay was extremely nice in Sea Cabin 210 A. The condo has many amenities we enjoyed: twin mattress airbed & sheets, sofa bed & sheets(Provided on request), fully equipped kitchen with "many" utensils, pots & pans, "great" view of the beach from balcony even though not beach front for early morning reading & coffee, GREAT access to Sea Cabins PIER for fishing or walking, one large beach chair and two smaller beach chairs working, small beach umbrella, one good boogie board (others broken), cleaning utensils, ie Swiffer Duster to get up sand (need pads or use good paper towels),bedroom very nice, a bit small, but good for our usage; TV & Internet great. We needed sheets for the pull out sofa, but they brought them on the second day. ONLY 4 pillows for beds, bring extra if needed. The ONE Wall Bunk VERY narrow, only good for children 12 & under. Wonderful UNIT and beautifully decorated. Great Location to shopping, beach, restaurants, pier .....wonderful vacation!

As you know I have stayed many weeks at the Sea Cabins. This year we had roaches. I was transferred immediately to your maintenance department. They called back and said exterminator would be there the following day. They also followed up with us again after the exterminator left. It was much appreciated but wish I would not have had that problem with roachs.

We love the Sea Cabins. This trip however was a little disappointing. First we arrived and found the pier was closed due to damage from Irma. I understand that repairs often need to be made, but I feel the rental company should have notified us either by email or at checkin, however they never did and at check in gave us our beach and pier code. I feel that would have been a perfect time to inform their guests that the pier was unfortunately closed. The Sea Cabin itself had few problems as well. The TV in the room would not work and it took three days to get it repaired. This also meant three days we had to be available to let someone in to work on the TV. Lastly the air conditioner went out and we were informed it would be several hours before anyone could come to check it and it was our responsibility to be there to let the HVAC guys in for the repairs. Our visits to the Sea Cabins are normally fantastic, but this year seemed to fall a bit short.

Condo was recently updated. It was very clean and well maintained. Enjoyed being so close to the beach. We have two cars and could only park one at the condo. Had to park the other one across the street, which was inconvenient.

We cook at home a lot, even on vacation. We were surprised at the limited cookware. Beyond that, though, we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

We drove 7 1/2 hours to Isle of Palms with a seven month old and a 2 year old. The condition of the unit was very poor. The unit was musty/moldy smelling. There was something on the lamp that looked like dried vomit. Everytime the AC came on it blew out dirt. We covered the couch and chair with the sheets provided for the sofa bed. I continually swept the unit and wiped everything down. The bathroom was disgusting. The tub knobs had mildew on them as well as the shower head. I purchased Clorox wipes to clean the unit as well as a spray air freshener. We cut our vacation short due to the condition of the unit. We could not let our 7 month old crawl on the floor. We could not relax on this vacation. I am very disappointed in the condition of this unit as well as the pre-inspection that is supposedly completed prior to guests arriving. For the condition of this rental I believe it is way overpriced. I do not recommend this unit to anyone and I hope action is taken to improve this unit so future guests do not have to experience what we experienced. I feel we are deserving of a full refund.

Island Realty is very disapponted with this review. We strive for excellence in all our rentals. Island Realty sent our housekeeping supervisor out to rectify your housekeeping issues in the middle of Tropical Storm Hermine. Upon her arrival you were not present at the condo and it is Island Realty's policy to not enter a unit for an emergency clean without the guests being present. Our housekeeping supervisor did leave her card and housekeeping did try reach out again on Saturday to come out but I believe by then you had already left. Island Realty does wat to note that we did issue a refund as soon as your property manager was informed.

Overall we had a great week.The location, literally a 30 second walk to the beach, couldn't be beat. That said, the condo itself was nothing to write home about. Small, not particularly clean, and literally no frills (tiny little soaps that last for one use, no coffee filters, horrible selection of pots and pans, rusty shower curtain bars, etc.). For some reason they had a huge dresser in the small bedroom that made it almost impossible to walk around to the other side of the queen bed. Good quality towels though. Was there on July 4. Amazing fireworks right off the pier which is right outside the door!

The Sea Cabins is the best place to watch fireworks on the Fourth of July, you can do it right on your balcony!! The sea cabins are approximately 550 ft.2 of well-planned space. They are modular pre-manufactured units and they are subject to aging. I like A-210 because it is an easy walk up and has a tremendous Oceanview. Gated access to the beach and to a long fishing pier are literally a few steps away. I have stayed in this cabin three times now and I like the ease of dealing with Island Realty. The improvements in this cabin are getting a little older and the flooring is deteriorating as well as the bathroom shower fixtures. This is normal wear. The bed needs to be replaced and bed linens were cheap and had a gumball dried onto the lower sheet. Island Realty is a good competent manager and they usually do a better job. They have other sea cabins which are probably in tiptop shape. Be sure to ask for preseason discounts. I did receive a 20% discount on my weeks stay. I left a little early. My biggest complaint is that I was disgusted by the bed, the bed linens, and bed coverlet. I did not contact Margie Raab, The property manager. I'm certain that if I did, she would've moved quickly to rectify my concern.

This is a very nice unit. It was clean and we enjoyed staying there. The bed was comfortable, a little hard. The bathroom has a medicine cabinet and a toilet topper for storage. The unit has its own internet. The view from the deck is very pretty. The deck has the comfortable high chairs so that you can see over the rail instead of looking through it. I would recommend this unit.

When making reservations, we reserved a Deluxe cabin which supposedly was recently remodeled. I was very disappointed at the state of our condo. The handles to the tub fell off when we turned them on/off & they were dirty. There was mold in the refrigerator. Also, I was told sheets would be provided for all beds, but there were no sheets for the 2 bunk beds or pull out couch. For the amount of money we paid for 3 days, I expected it to be alot cleaner and it better shape.

The units in this complex are all the same as far as layout. Many need updating which makes them look rundown inside. Photos on SeaCabins website are not as we found our unit.

Liked the nautical theme wall, but the sitting area had just a sofa, needs a chair to go with it, large table in living area needs to go, takes up half of an already small space. TV was a 19'with no remote and very basic cable, small tv in bedroom not hooked up to cable. did not have a hair dryer, no big deal if you knew in advance. Sliding door will almost trap you on the balcony, (closes good, opens better if you use a jaws of life). I have stayed in sea cabins for years, but will not stay in this unit again. It's not terrible, but just not quite up to the standards for the price of rental.

The problem was that the bathroom faucets in the tub were filthy, rusted and moldy. When we inquired about it we were told that they were aware of the situation and that the owner wanted to take care of it after we left as it was going to be a few days work. Knowing the condition of the tub we should have been moved to a different unit or, at least, had a rebate on the rent which we feel should be the case. The unit was advertised as a luxury unit, but the tub situation was anything but luxury. Everything else was fine.

Answer:

Initial linen sets consist of sheets and pillowcases in the appropriate quantities and sizes for your rental property, plus one bath towel, one hand towel, and one washcloth per person permitted by capacity. For example, if your unit has a sleeping capacity of 4, you will receive 4 bath towels, 4 hand towels, 4 washcloths, and sheets & pillowcases for each bed. Additional linens may be ordered ahead of time (at least one week prior to your arrival) MORE INFO HERE. We also recommend the use of a local business, Baby's Away Charleston for the rental of beach towels and other beach-related items such as chairs, games, etc.
