The unit that we stayed in was ok. It had be updated not too long ago and the furnishings were nice enough. The mattress was as hard as a brick, but we all have our preferences. My problem was the overall condition of the building. We have always stayed in Building B and this was our time in Building A. The building seemed to be much more worn. Exterior doors that were rusty, skylights in the ceiling as you exit the unit that leaked terribly when we had rain. Just old and worn looking.

The condo was small but very comfortable and clean. The lack of elevators made for a bit of a walk up stairs. However, the view was worth the walk.

The location is excellent having private access to the beach. My wife and I were pleased to find a place where dogs were not permitted. This contributed to a quiet, relaxing stay.

Aside from walks on the beach we spent a good deal of time in Charleston which is easy to reach and provides ample garage parking at a reasonable price in the old city.

Island Realty provided excellent service. The booking went very smoothly.

The unit had been nicely remodeled with a glass shower and upgrade cabinetry. The unit has been well maintained and clean. The only minor issue were the stools at the counter. They were way to tall to be comfortable.

We had a wonderful time on Isle of Palms. Our condo was clean. We had a problem with TV remotes (a slight problem) it was taken care of within a half an hour. The maintenance staff was terrific. We had a beautiful relaxing quiet month. We would do it over and over and over again. Thank you to everyone who made our stay perfect.

My stay in unit 311 was simply amazing! The unit was clean and included modern appliances. THe ocean views were breathtaking. I fell in love with the balcony swing! I was also pleased to find the unit included an umbrella and beach chairs as well as a fully stocked kitchen with blender. I Only needed to provide cleaning solution/wipes, everything else from dish detergent to paper towels was provided.

This unit is worth the stay and I would visit again!!

We had a wonderful time at 311A. The only problem we encountered is that there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived and 2 opened beer bottles under the bunk bed. The location is great for walking any to shops and restaurants. The private pier was great for watching the sun rise, and the private beach access was great, too.

My second time staying at Sea Cabins. This condo was great, very updated, comfy couch and recliner. Bed was good too. Great views. Shower was like a spa. My only compliant and it is minor is that that the bathroom exhaust fan was loud! Needs replaced and maybe on a separate switch. But again, very minor. I will be staying in 311A again!

The property and the condo were clean. The beach view was great! The condo was nice accept for a few small things. The sliding door was extremely hard to open and close, the refrigerator didn't have an ice maker only four ice trays. It seems like both of these things would be an easy fix. I would recommend Sea Cabins to friends.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay for our annual beach vacation. This is the second year that we’ve stayed at Sea Cabins (first time in this particular room). We love the relaxing atmosphere of IOP and the private access to the beach/pier/pool. We have friends that live in Charleston, so it is very convenient to enjoy the beach ourselves or meet up with them in downtown. Our cabin was clean, well furnished, and had a great balcony view of the ocean. The main bed was on the firm side, but we aren’t picky with beds. The couch sofa and hallway bunk beds would be great for a bigger group. The bathroom is well decorated with a walk-in shower, handheld shower, and wooden bench. Overall, we love Sea Cabins for the ocean front view, private beach/pier/pool access, and convenience to downtown Charleston.

Condo was stocked well with pots, pans and dishes. Keurig and regular coffee pot. These condos are by nature small but works well for my husband, toddler and myself. Cleaners need to do a better job, we found crumbs and things around the condo. The sliding door to balcony is off track and we weren't able to fix so it was a struggle going in and out. The condo bedroom is on side sun comes up and there's no black out curtains (which isn't as much a problem for sun as it is the light outside the door shining in all night if you are a sensitive sleeper like me). The view is spectacular and we love that side of the sea cabins.

We have stayed in this condo building before, so knew what to expect with location and amenities of the complex. However, the last one we stayed in had no bunk beds so much more space.

Overall its not the best place we've stayed in and not the worst.
I would not recommend more than 2 people in this unit, even though it has a pullout bed and bunk beds the space is really limited and tight; even a single kid would be a lot!

Pros: Convenient to the beach and to get in and out of IOP. It has been tastefully remodelled so feels updated and clean. Bed is comfortable. Couch is comfortable. We didn't spend much time in the unit, so it suited us perfectly. Felt clean, and had enough cleaning supplies to get us going. The view from the patio is so stunning- enjoyed morning coffees and afternoon drinks overlooking the ocean and listening to the waves. Appreciate the beach chairs and umbrella included with unit.

Cons: The space in this condo is much more limited than we first thought. There is no storage space in bathroom for toiletries, the bedroom has really limited closet and drawer space. (Very hard to find a spot for two suitcases). Living room is very crowded with furniture for such a small space (Three ottomans, large couch, two chairs etc.) Bedroom carpet needs to be changed its quite worn and dirty. Window in bedroom lets in all noises we first thought it was open (people walking by, cars, etc). Patio furniture needs to be changed as its in rough shape.

Suggestions to owner:
- Remove some of the living room furniture (suggest removal of one chair and additional 2 ottomans)
- Change the patio furniture as its completely rusted and falling apart.
- Update the carpet in the bedroom
- Change mattress pad as it is very stained (noticed once removed sheets as required at end of stay)

Sea Cabin 311A is in great location. Great view from front and back of cabin. Cabin was beautifully remodeled with everything you need in it plus extras. Decorations were awesome and bed was very comfortable. Owners did a wonderful job. Would definitely stay in this cabin again. It is by far the best cabin we stayed in so far. The only problem was that it needed a better job with the cleaning between guests. Bathroom needed some work. Bathtub was dirty and shower liner was moldy. This was in no way the owner fault. Feel the cleaning in between the guests was rushed.

We have stayed at similar condos for years now, and this was one of the best. We cook all our meals in the condo, and the kitchen was well-equipped to do so. The condo had nice beach chairs included as well. The one down side was there was not much sun on the deck--all morning/early afternoon it is blocked by the roof and then in the late afternoon it is just there for a few hours before it goes down again. If you like to sit on the deck in the sun, this is not the unit for you. Otherwise, it was great!

The apartment was beautifully and serenely decorated. All linens were of very good quality. Kitchen was well supplied. Requests to maintenance were responded to promptly.

A few suggestions for the owners of Sea Cabins 311A:
Either clean or replace couch in living room; place tv on opposite wall so that ocean can be seen when sitting on couch; bathtub could use a hair snare; do consider placing fan and light in bathroom on different switches.

Comments for property managers:
Recycling containers were not found anywhere on the property. Why not??
More than two days notice needed for updates in apartment. Also, it was very difficult to reach anyone to let them know that work could be done a different day if not able to be completed on day scheduled. Work was unable to be completed on day scheduled and I was questioned by grounds person as to why I could not do the next day which was my last full day in the apartment.
FYI
A friend who visited has already reserved for a month next year.

My family and I stayed for a week in Sea Cabin 311A. The property was beautiful, clean, and offered excellent views of the ocean. Island Realty made booking, checking in, and staying at the cabin easy. The complex itself was well maintained. We enjoyed the beach and the pool every day. We would stay at Sea Cabins again and definitely stay in 311A again.

Great location on the beach. Unit was very well decorated. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils/cookware (blender, coffee maker & Keurig, toaster, mixer, etc). Individual Wi-Fi in this unit. Would definitely stay again

We rented Sea Cabin 311 A for a week over the 4th of July and loved it. Wonderful location, beautiful view, and friendly neighbors. A few notes:

-Cabins are all different. Some are updated, some are not. Do research and find one that suits your budget/style. This cabin was absolutely worth every penny.
-We stayed in building A and could see most of the fireworks being shot off of the pier from our balcony, but buildings B and C would have full views. However, the ocean view from 311 A could not have been any better!
-Not a complaint, but a suggestion to future visitors: bring a hairdryer if you typically use one! This cabin is extremely well-equipped, but no hairdryer. It had everything else we needed though!
-I loved the decor- beautifully beachy without being kitschy
-Property was so easy to get to, and within walking distance to several restaurants and a very nice grocery store

We have vacationed at Sea Cabin for multiple years. Cabin 311 is by far the best unit that we have stayed in. The renovations show, from the updated kitchen to the upgraded tech, including Smart TV and personal WiFi. The overall atmosphere is really nice. I admit, it was a bit of a hike compared to lower floors or units closer to stairs, but it was totally worth it. Hope we can stay in 311 again next year.

Beautiful Sea Cabin with all the right touches.The view was the best..enjoyed watching the big ships coming and going from Charlston Harbor. Only negative, 40 stairsteps.

Rented Sea Cabin 311A. The condo was fabulous. Beautifully decorated, modern fully equipped kitchen. Great view of the ocean and pier from balcony. The location was convenient to restaurants, shops and rental businesses. Would definitely stay here again.

Our first visit to Isle of Palms. This condo was beautifully decorated and comfortable with excellent ocean views. We were disappointed in the cleanliness though. The apartment looked as though it had not been dusted in many months. There was a thick coating of dust on the air vents, ceiling fans and wall pictures. The bedroom window was coating with cobwebs and dirt. This was not the result of the cleaning crew missing one cleaning! Once we did some dusting, the place was much more comfortable. The description did not say that the unit includes a set of bunks in the hallway. Since we didnt need extra sleeping space, this provided extra storage space for towels, etc. Overall Sea Cabin is a beautiful condo with easy pier and beach access.

Loved everything about our condo! The view from the balcony was exquisite. We spent the majority of our time eating and drinking outside st all times of the day. The sound of the ocean is peaceful and enjoyable during those late night drinks.

We had never been to IOP in February but had opportunity to get away for a few days. It was cold and windy one day but very sunny the entire time we were there. All in all it was a very good time to visit. The ocean was beautiful and the sunrise and sunsets were beautifu. Look forward to coming back soon.

I had a great experience my only complaint is having no elevator. It was not easy carrying everything up to 3rd floor. I don't know if I will stay here again for that reason. I don't want on 1st floor because you have no ocean view.

Answer:

Guest cancellations must be in writing. If you cancel your reservation, you will be responsible for your entire reservation balance until the property has been re-booked and confirmed for the same use period and for the same rate. Final payment will be processed to the credit card on file 30 days prior to arrival per the payment policy. There are no exceptions. If the property is re-booked for only part of the use period or for less rent for the reserved days, you may be credited the monies covered by the rebooking, and refunded the balance less a 10% cancellation fee based on the full base rent of the property. If the property is not rebooked, the entire balance will be forfeited to Island Realty, regardless of whether or not a full deposit was made at booking.

A review said beach chairs/umbrella were provided? Do you get more than 1 set of linens?

Answer:

While beach chairs are not an item that we require our owners to provide and cannot guarantee their availability, many of our owners do choose to supply them for their guests.

Each Island Realty unit includes an initial linen set that consists of sheets and pillowcases in the appropriate quantities and sizes for your rental property; plus one bath towel, one hand towel, and one washcloth per person permitted by capacity. If you should require additional linens, you may order them (at least a week in advance). Please read more HERE.
