This was a great place to stay for my family. It was clean and had more than enough space for the four of us. The view from the living room was great as well. Beach access was easy and you cannot beat its proximity to Charleston. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the week and all the appliances we needed were there. It is a no frills place and was perfect for a nice beach getaway. Island reality made it so easy to check in and enjoy our stay.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at this beachfront condo. The view from this specific unit and the location of the complex were both wonderful. The condo was quiet and large. We had so much more space than we would have had in comparably priced alternatives. Yes, the condo is dated, but everything was clean and we were comfortable. We liked the beds and linens too! After reading other reviews, we overpacked on household items like extra towels, toilet paper, etc. - none of that was needed! You will need to bring beach towels. We felt that this condo was a great value and were thankful for all that it offered on our budget.

This unit is located in a great area of IOP. I’ve stayed in many homes and condos nearby. This unit needs new beds. The mattresses were worn out. Other than that.. the property was adequate.

It was a nice unit. Two criticisms, first the outside trash container is way to far away. Second, the cleaners only left 1 trash bag in the unit.

This is the second time we have stayed at 2C Seagrove and we love it. You can’t beat the location and the view. Would be nice if it was a little more updated but nothing that we couldn’t manage.

Great views and a good location, perhaps a bit too close to the busy section of Wild Dunes. Unit was adequate, yet long overdue for upgrades. Peeling and dirty paint, peeling popcorn ceilings, cabinets that must have been original, and mattresses that needed to be replaced. We've stayed at units all over the resort, and while this was a good location, the unit made it less that enjoyable.

I have stayed in Charleston several times and LOVE it. I chose this place for my family because of location and convenience, and it was perfect for those reasons. However, inside the condo it was very dirty, odd odors, cockroaches under the sink, stained bedding and counter tops, and needs many repairs of dripping ceilings, outdated decor, old furniture, and overall needs a remodel. I have never had this experience, and although location was great, the comfort inside was very poor and disappointing.

Fantastic location and a view to die for! This condo is right on the beach - you can’t get any closer to the water and we didn’t mind the 30 minute drive to Charleston! The unit was clean and smelled fresh when we arrived. Other reviews were right that it could use some paint and updates but for the great price and location, we didn’t mind. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances. TVs were great - we appreciated Roku being available. Everything was in working order and we had a great time! Island Realty has also been WONDERFUL to work with. This was our first time renting a condo and they were very professional and easy to work with - and we’re already planning our next trip with them!

You can’t beat the view! The condo wasn’t up to date but it was clean and adequate for a beach visit and master bedroom had picture window that had side windows that opened so sleeping was wonderful I would definitely use it again!

The location is great but the condo did not have basic kitchen supplies such as spices/salt/pepper and coffee filters. It was clean but lots of water stains on the ceiling and some evidence of previous leaking on the walls. The windows in the upstairs bedroom were really hard to open. The place just seemed like it needed some updating and TLC. Otherwise it had plenty of linens and starter supplies and the people were very friendly and helpful!

Great place with a great view. However, really needs kitchen upgrades and the air condition is fair at best.Needs better bedding as well. I have stayed at Wild Dunes through IR several times and this is the worst condo we have had as far as kitchen utencil and beds are concerned.

We've stayed at Wild Dunes three times now, and twice at Seagrove. While our last experience at Seagrove was excellent, this unit was only fair.
This condo is truly oceanfront; you could through a stone into the water at high-tide if you wanted to, and the view is unobstructed, but the interior of the home is in dire need of renovation and upgrades. Dresser drawers had handles that easily pulled-off when trying to open them-exposing sharp, pointy screws instead of bolts-and the kitchen had loose drawer panels that had clearly been glued, unsuccessfully, a number of times. Most of the appliances were worn out and the number of provided basics (e.g. paper towel, trash bags, basic spices) were sparse. Usually when we've rented, we've found basic supplies available and it is certainly a nice touch by owners. The washing machine didn't spin enough to thoroughly remove water from clothing which extends drying time, and the dryer broke while we were there (which Island Realty promptly sent someone to fix--THANK YOU!).
Additional items to consider: the walls, while not disgusting, could use a good cleaning, the fake plants were covered in layers and layers of dust, drywall tape was starting to lift at the edges of the ceiling, and the seating was quite uncomfortable. Also, there was no WiFi available, but we knew that going into the rental.
As mentioned in other reviews, beach access was further than desired, but considering all the storms and the beach erosion work being completed, I would hardly hold this against the owners. Additionally, access was a short, beachfront walk away. The pool at Seagrove is sizable and warm, and the grounds are well maintained.
Overall, the trip was nice, but the unit was only fair, even at the price point. Island Realty was responsive and friendly, and their hands are tied when it comes to the key changes that would really improve this condo unit. I'd recommend Island Realty and Seagrove to others, but not this un

Seagrove 2C is in an awesome location. Located close to the Grand Pavilion AND beachfront. There is quite a bit of beach erosion in front of the condo, but adequate beach space is available very close. 2C is in need of a decorative update including new furniture, but overall a great value for the price!

It was a perfect vacation for Grandmother, daughter and granddaughter. We relaxed, played on the beach and ocean and pool.A bike ride showed native animals deer and alligator which was a thrill for us animal lovers. The condo was perfect and right on the beach as advertised.I would highly recommend this island and this rental.

Great! Not a cloud in the sky the whole time. We were fortunate that low tide occurred midday so we could be on beach. Hard to believe but unit did not have access to wifi so that was an inconvenience. A/C didn't work but was fixed by maintenance. Only reason to not recommend is lack of wifi-everyone expects it now.

A Walk on the Beach

We really enjoyed our experience on Isle of Palms. We loved the view and accessibility of the ocean and beach. The condo was clean, but the owners need to add a few more cereal/soup bowls in the kitchen cabinet because there was only two. Also, they need to buy fitted sheets that fit the twin beds because they slip off during the night. These are just minor things. Overall, we had a great stay!

Wild Dunes resort will often offer day programs for children on holidays and during peak travel times. They also offer a variety of private sports lessons depending on the child's age. Please reach out to the resort directly to set up child care.

What is the cancellation policy?

Answer:

You can cancel your reservation; however, you will not get a refund unless the property is re-rented for the same dates and rate as your reservation.

Island Realty has a 10% cancellation fee, and the remainder of your deposit is held pending the re-rental of the property.

If you are paid in full for the reservation, all money will be held until we can re-rent the property. If the property is not re-booked, the entire balance will be forfeited to Island Realty, regardless of whether or not a full deposit was made at the time of booking.

Purchasing travel insurance may help with a reimbursement if cancellation is prompted by an extenuating circumstance. Read more about travel insurance HERE.
