This vacation home was everything we could have asked for. Had everything we needed, within walking distance to restaurants/bars, grocery store, pool and beach. We absolutely loved it! It was on a quiet street. Will definitely look into it again when we come back to IOP.

Found this vacation rental for a last minute getaway with girlfriends and could not have been happier with the house, price and location. We are already planning our next visit. The community was super quiet, the 3 minute walk to the beach from a private community walkway, and the central location to restaurants and grocery store was perfect.

This was our first experience renting a weekly vacation home. The house was very clean and hospitable. It felt like home, not too ostentatious. The furniture and beds were comfortable, although the recliner chair isn’t in the best condition. There were some minor maintenance items which could be addressed like the handrail on the back deck is rotting and the tile floor outside the master bedroom is loose and clicks when you step on it. The best thing about this home is its location in a quiet corner of the Beachside neighborhood. Very little traffic, one house away from pool and tennis court, and an easy walk to beach or grocery store. We were in IOP for a wedding and heard from others who had also rented homes that our location was more convenient to activities than higher end homes in the Wild Dunes area. We felt fortunate for choosing this home from Island Realty.

The house was spacious, lovely and user friendly for 6 adults. We appreciated the shower downstairs to remove the sand, as well as the beach chairs and umbrella.

Great house with plenty of room. Kitchen was great and loved the house layout. The walk to the beach is very short and right beside the pool. I have been coming to the Island for 30 years and this is a private Beach entrance. So in other words it was not crowed at all on Beach.

The only one thing I think is weird about the house it does not have steps at the back of the house to exit. In case of a emergency you would need to jump off of the deck.

It was great, our rental house was perfect for our family. Great location, four minutes to the beach and one minute to the pool. Plus, Harris Teeter was only a five minute walk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 8 Beachside Dr. We have stayed at several Beachside homes and this was our favorite. The upgrades were great and we especially liked the kitchen layout.

This house has all we needed for a great vacation. We loved the easy walk to the beach and shops. The outside shower was spacious and the bedroom layout was perfect for my two kids and Mom to join us.

The house was just what we expected. Close to the beach and nice beach access. We try to get the same house next year. Staff at check in and check out was very nice and professional. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans.Oh and the pool was only 1 house away. Clean pool with clean restrooms.

The Citadel Cadet has graduated with honors and the family gathered at IOP to join the celebration. We returned to 8 Beachside, as we had stayed there for many previous years and again enjoyed our stay.

We had wonderful time. We booked this only about a month before our vacation and still had plenty of options. The check in and check out process was super easy. We regularly vacation on IOP and visit family in Mount Pleasant. We've stayed at #8 many times, making it feel like our home away from home. We've seen many improvements over the years, making our stay very comfortable. We found the house to be very clean and the kitchen well-equipped for our needs. The location is perfect for us: close to the beach, the IOP Connector, restaurants, Charleston, and our grandchildren!

We loved the house!! Great floor plan with a kitchen to die for. It was well stocked for the most part, silverware, pots and pans, glassware. Almost everything we needed. We had to pick up a small number of kitchen items (and we are leaving them in the hope that they will still be here next winter).The only complaint we have is that the beds were terribly squeaky. The supports under the queen bed are fairly inadequate and the box springs are not very good. THAT is our most serious complaint! And you know how old people need a really comfortable bed ;)

The house had a very musty smell when we entered. I think that the moldy shower curtain in the master bath was not helping with the smell. The kitchen equipment was lacking. There were very few pots and pans and not a lot of other kitchen essentials. We brought several items with us and good thing that we did. Our overall trip was good. The walk to the private beach access was not terribly long and once on the beach, there was plenty of space to set up and not be on top of anyone else. The house location is also easy to access the grocery and other stores on IOP.

My wife and I stayed here with our three daughters ages 8,10,and 12 for the week and had a great time! House was clean and had plenty of room for us. Very convenient to the beach access and walking distance to HT and restaurants on IOP. The neighborhood was great, we never had to deal with the traffic that other houses do that were on the main drag. For the price you can’t beat this house!

Enjoyed our week-long stay at the address of Beachside Drive 8. Property was very comfortable to stay in and convenient to the local area and the beach. Interior was clean and well equipped. Layout of house was very nice. The carport was nice, along with the outside showers. One recliner chair was probably needing repair or replacement. We would stay in this place again. Only negative (which did not impact our stay) was our concern of the exterior condition. Paint was peeling on much of the exterior, including the ceiling of the carport. Some window casements may need to be replaced in a few areas because of lack of paint and appearance of wood damage. Other than that, all was good.

Rental property was nice. Clean, beds comfy, sitting areas nice. Two cautions on the back porch - be sure the door knob is unlocked before going out or you will be locked out. And wear shoes as the wood is splintery. Nice location, walking distance to the grocery store. Rental agents very helpful.

We enjoyed our annual family Labor Day vacation on IOP again this year. We love staying in Beachside development, close to beach and pool and walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. Beachside 8 was nice, liked the layout and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything needed. The only complaints is need a new sofa sleeper and the floors were very dirty. Had to wears shoes inside the whole time there. The staff at Island Realty was very nice and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at 8 Beachside Dr. The beds were comfortable. We liked that we were within walking distance of the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Our only complaint is that the pots and pans were worn to the point of being unusable. Also, the floor could have used a good mopping.

We enjoyed our stay at IOP. This house was 2 houses away from
The pool and about a 6 minute walk to the beach. A great location and we felt very safe. The house was very nice and I loved the kitchen. The living room furniture really needs to be addressed. The rocker recliner was broken, the couch and love seat were truly worn. We were planning on the sofa couch for sleeping but it was not possible as it was very dirty .We covered it with sheets as the grandkids wanted to sit and read. We purchased an air mattress because we just could not sleep on that sofa bed.��The throw rugs need to be washed or replaced. I am being honest because this house would be my favorite place if it weren't for the living room furniture. The kitchen table was amazing for the family. With grandkids , the outside shower was where everyone showered, it was an amazing setup! The outside decks were great for morning coffee. If the furniture is replaced please let me know as I would definitely return!

Overall we enjoyed our stay, however we had a bee infestation near the front porch which we reported on day 1, however despite several follow up calls, nothing was done about it.

Could not have been happier with the property and the location. Check in was easy and informative. I would have like a later checkout time, but all was well. House was clean and towels were provided. There is a Harris Teeter nearby for all additional needs. I'd suggest buying extra trash backs. Beach was walking distance.

A beautiful home that was well equipped for a multi -generation family vacation!
The only negative part of the experience would be a recommendation to The Isle of Palms to be more proactive on spraying for the mosquitos that were swarming . Living here in the Charleston area we are well aware of this problem and the need for regular prevention.

The best place we have stayed at in 10 years on IOP! Clean, well furnished and equipped kitchen. Close to the beach and pool. Quiet neighborhood which I enjoyed, especially on the Fourth of July week. Great for viewing fireworks on back deck. Only one thing was missing, a hair dryer. Overall, was fantastic! Thanks for making this a great vacation for the entire family!!

The staff was helpful in helping us rent 8 Beachside Drive. We have stayed at a couple of houses in the same Subdivision, with another rental company, but this was the nicest. The property was well maintained on the inside and out. The kitchen furnishings were nice but there were no knives except steak knives. All other household furnishings were fine. The small back porch area was nice, would be been nicer if it was a covered, screened in area. This was the cleanest house that we have stayed in. The only issue was the floors. After walking around bare-footed, my feet were black. Nice that the floors were completely tiled, so sand was an easy cleanup.

Thanks for letting us stay in your home. We appreciate all the care that was taken to help insure a comfortable stay.

Beachside Drive 8 was very nice. I had a bridal brunch while there and the kitchen was excellent for the event. Very well equipped. In addition, the space available in the den was perfect. All three bedrooms were very spacious. I would definitely visit again.
