All was very good! House was well equipped except for a shortage of kitchen towels. I would also suggest putting hooks on the wall or door backs for the bathrooms. There was not enough racks to hang towels to dry. Other than that all was excellent.

We enjoyed the house very much. Very convenient. The kitchen ware is not equal to the house and the oven did not work well. The deck was very slippery when wet and one of our children took a pretty good fall, just a heads up to avoid someone getting hurt.

This beach house was the best house we have ever stayed in! We have been vacationing at Wild Dunes and Isle of Palms since 1995 and this house by far, was our favorite. It was our favorite because the house is large, yet cozy. The kitchen is magnificent and allowed our family of 12 to enjoy cooking in. The yard is beautifully manicured and during our stay the pink hydrangeas were in bloom. We lived mainly on the deck drinking our coffee each morning admiring the live oak trees enveloping the house. The towels were excellent quality, there was always enough hot water, and the outdoor shower was a plus. We used the pool, and even though it is small, it was always cool and refreshing. The public assess pathway is to the left of the property and we thought it would be bothersome, but it wasn't at all. The inside of the house is updated, has gorgeous hardwood floors, and is beautiful and clean. The only downside to our stay was that one of the couples had to stay in the twin beds. There are six single beds total, and we only had two children with us. However, with a family with several kids, it would have been just right. The mattress on the pull out sofa bed is not comfortable, so don't plan on adults sleeping on it. The outside grill was too dirty to use and even after scrubbing it, it was not suitable for grilling. The garage storage closet was fabulous because we were able to use the beach canopy and the beach wagon stored inside. Having an enclosed garage was wonderful and the shade in the front driveway was great. The convenience to Harris Teeter was so helpful.
We just loved this house and I am missing it already, and hope to rent it again. I am especially missing the live oaks and the Frontgate chaise lounges! Thank you so much for making this a peaceful and lovely place for our family vacation. SO AWESOME!!!!!

We stayed in this great home over C of C graduation. It was the perfect place for 2 families to stay together to celebrate and relax. The house is in perfect condition and a fabulous location. The only complaint (which I thought was so petty when I read it in other reviews, but turned out to be true) is that there are no beach towels or chairs. To have to bring or buy that for a short stay is a big inconvenience. Add it to the rent and take out of the security if they go missing. That should be standard in a house on the beach. Other than that, it had absolutely everything you need, it is newly and beautifully renovated, clean, comfortable and had great space for gathering together. We would definitely rent this house again and recommend to friends.

We had a great time. 8 adults and 4 kids stayed full time and we entertained 4 more adults and 4 kids 75% of the time. The house is fantastic with plenty of room to move around and get away if you need a break. Porches are great and pool is a great bonus (especially for kids). Overall it was perfect and we will visit again.

The home was amazing for group, beautiful home with en suite baths in most bedrooms, dream kitchen with 2 dishwashers, wonderful outdoor living areas, short walk to beach. I would highly recommend this property. 1 negative, only 1 dishtowel and dish cloth, would suggest stoking more in the home especially for a large group.

House was great - bedrooms were spacious, living room was excellent (TV in an interesting spot but we never watched it), bathrooms were clean & nice too! Only thing that I can think of that was disappointing was the pool could have been cleaner but we were @ the beach! A great house that was close to golf courses we played. Our one week stay in 2408 Palm Blvd. with our extended family was absolutely perfect. The weather cooperated every day and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. Having a house large enough to house our two adult children and their families as well as my brother and sister and their spouses was just what we needed to have a relaxing and fun-filled time at the beach. We wished we could have stayed to whole month instead of just one week! The home itself was well appointed and well equipped, the materials used in its construction were of outstanding quality and the craftsmanship was evident in the fine details in the woodwork and the fit and finish throughout the house.

The only negative thing I could say was that the house needed a thorough deep cleaning. I know that vacation rental homes get a great deal of wear and abuse, but it did not appear that the home had receive a thorough cleaning in a very long time. I realize that the time allotted for cleaning between rentals is very short, but for the amount of money we paid in rent, we expected the house to be much cleaner than it was.

This house surpassed all of our expectations. It was beautiful, well thought out, easy access to the beach, so fun for all ages. Island Realty did everything to make our stay easy and enjoyable. They are very professional and made sure if we were not satisfied with something or had a problem they were immediately responsive to our requests. The house is gorgeous and we would all love to come back to this house again. Thank you! P.S. The house had a quick clean before we arrived, but when I called to ask management to come back and clean they sent their housekeeping supervisor who made sure everything was spotless by the time she finished. Highly recommend this house and Island Realty.

We were a group ranging in age from 17 to 90 and everyone loved the house! It has a great layout, is very up to date and comfortable. Wonderful, well appointed kitchen. The only real negative is it's location next to a public beach path (there was lots of activity to and from the beach). The pool was okay but very small and in a shady spot and so stayed pretty chilly. Overall this is a great property and we would definitely stay here again.

What a great house. Clean, modern and plenty of room. We rented the house for a golf trip with 10 men and it met our needs perfectly. Great inside and outside living space - and great access to the beach. We didn't realize that Isle of Palm was quite as far as it was to Charleston, but really its on a $20 uber away. Great house, I'd come back here again with my family as well. Management company was exceptionally easy to work with as well, no hassles.

The house itself is really amazing - beautifully renovated, great, comfortable furniture, GORGEOUS porches, TONS of space, great bedrooms - all of them, with amazing bathrooms (which is so, so nice for groups)... great location. I can't imagine you can get much better than this. Given how nice the house is, we were surprised to find it missing a few amenities. These are minor but, for as expensive as it is...:
No beach towels or chairs (seems odd, for a beach house), no hair dryers, no salt/pepper/olive oil/coffee filters to start, no dish towels, the grill was so dirty that we opted to only use the upper shelf... a few minor details like that.

My only other comment (I own a beach rental house, so I think about these things a lot when staying other places) is that having a 10am checkout AND a list of things that needs to be done by the renters (stripped beds, running dishwasher etc...) seems silly to me. You basically lose your last day. I never had my guests strip their beds... it seems excessive in a house so expensive to me. Either give a later checkout (noon) and expect people to help out or give the 10am checkout and just let people leave. Asking people to get the house together and be out by 10am makes your last morning kind of a lost cause.

We really enjoyed our time at 2408. However I'd agree with others that for this price, one would expect beach towels and chairs, and perhaps even some beach "toys". House is right along the public access to beach, so not very private in that regard, and we did have a few people "pop into" the pool uninvited. But overall great space, well appointed kitchen, great for a crowd.

This is a wonderful vacation home! Great location, plenty of space (we had a group of 11 adults). I would definitely recommend and would love to rent it again! The only downside was that we had to strip the beds which I thought was a little odd given we were already paying for a cleaning service and had to check out by 10am so we felt a bit rushed.

Wonderful experience. House has great layout and beautiful decor. Built-in microwave did not work. Called maintenance and they delivered a counter top model to use during our short stay.
