Charming and unique 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom beach home with a private pool and updated kitchen! This beautifully decorated family home is close the beach and has easy beach access at 3rd or 4th Ave.

As you enter through the front screened porch you will love this outdoor space. The screen porch spans the width of the house offering a space for outdoor dining and comfortable seating.

Inside, you will find an open floor plan with a newly updated kitchen with quartz counter-top, and beverage center! The kitchen opens up to the family room with a large flat screen TV and plenty of seating in the center of the home. Just off the living room is a deck overlooking the pool with a dining table and gas grill. The kitchen has a center island with bar stools and a separate dining table. Also on the main living level is a secondary sitting area and three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms share an adjoining bathroom while the third bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower. There is also a half bath off the kitchen.

Moving to the first floor (lower level) you will find the master bedroom, an entertainment area, washer/dryer, and a secondary bedroom. You will love the large entertainment room as another gathering place with sectional seating and a large TV. The Primary bedroom is generously sized with access to its own screened porch with a “Charleston Swing” (swinging bed) plus an additional seating area. Read a book, have your coffee, or just take a nap. The lower level also features a bunk room with twin bunk beds and standalone twin bed.

Wi-Fi and Linens included. Fireplace is not for guest use. Gas Grill provided (propane tanks may be exchanged at our office during regular business hours). No pets or smoking. NOTE: There will be a $1000 fine for any smoking or pets at the property.

Bedroom 1: Primary (King), with full bathroom w/ shower (shared w/ Bedroom 2). Sliding door to private screen porch

Bedroom 2: 1 Twin and 1 bunkbed w/ twin over full (shared bath w/ Bedroom 1).

The shared bathroom, is a Jack and Jill ensuite with direct access between the two bedrooms.

Entertainment area with large flat screen and direct access to private pool area.

Laundry room with washer and dryer.

Second Floor:

Front screen porch across the front of the home; outdoor living with dining table/picnic style table seating 6 to 8

Poolside deck with gas grill and outdoor dining for 6

Living room: Large flat screen TV: opens up the poolside deck

Kitchen: Island with bar stools and dining area with dining table seating 6 with 1/2 bath just off the kitchen area.

Bedroom 3: Queen Bed (street side) shares full bath with Bedroom 4.

Bedroom 4: Queen Bed (middle of house) shares bath with Bedroom 3.

Bathroom shared by bedroom #3 and #4 is a Jack and Jill with a shower.

Bedroom 5: Queen Bed (street side) with ensuite bathroom with shower.

We enjoyed our time. The house had everything we needed. Everything was clean and easy to find. The only problem we had was with one of the keys. We just couldn’t get it to work. We have stayed with you before and really enjoyed the keyless entries. We also thought it would be nice to have a small college refrigerator on the lower level.

This house is beautiful and newly remodeled. We enjoyed the back deck for breakfast and the front porch table for our evening meals. The location is awesome-a quick walk to the beach, a mile walk into town for ice cream, and in a very quiet residential area. The pool was comfortable even though it wasn’t cleaned until the day before we left. We contacted maintenance but were told it was up to the pool company to come. There were plenty of chairs to sit around it. Unfortunately the lower level requires a dehumidifier that we had to empty on a daily basis and there was a musty smell. But the lower master bedroom and outside areas are very comfortable and beautiful.

A lovely spacious home with a variety of easy spaces to relax. Screened porch across the front roomy enough for family meal and sitting area and one off the master bedroom retreat with a bed swing - really comfortable. Two family room areas with TV/dvr and pool made everyone happy after day at the beach, an easy walk.

We rented this house with a group of family members while we were in Charleston for a wedding. The house was perfect for a larger group- plenty of space to spread out both inside and out, with 2 screened porches as well as a lovely deck for relaxing outside, and 3 different living areas alongside 5 bedrooms inside. The decor and furniture were ideal for a beach house: comfortable but not so ornate that we were worried about the little ones breaking things. The pool was a great size with a sitting ledge and deeper areas. It was great to be able to access the back yard and pool from the first and second floors of the house. The best part was the 3 minute walk from the house to beach. Lots of parking.

Enjoyed our stay on isle of palms. 305 Charleston was in great shape, was clean had a great pool and close beach access. We had 6 adults and three young grandchildren who loved the bunk beds. Kitchen was spacious and stocked with the essentials. Check in and out was seemless. Bo Farish was most helpful in working with us to find this home. The destination wedding was a success.

I was disappointed to find that what I would consider necessities and a part of the package were not included. Having rented houses in the US and abroad, I had assumed that pool towels would have been included. We traveled from the West Coast and it would have been difficult to pack pool towels for all of us. In addition to our food, we had to buy essential spices, salt and pepper for example. Also with an infant it was frustrating not to have available a portable crib. I would think Island Reality could have those items available to be delivered when needed. We ended up buying our own toilet paper as well. To provide those minimum amenities does not seem like a huge expense, which could go a long way to ensuring the comfort of the renters. The location was great. I would recommend to friends, with caveats.

We do provide a starter kit to get you through the first few days until you are able to visit the store - the starter kit includes, toilet paper, dish-soap, shampoo, bath soap, and a trash bags in each can. We have rented many beach homes. What I liked about 305 Charleston is that it had more than place to hang out. The great room is the heart of the home but there is a little area outside the up bedroom to read and a place in the lower level to watch the game on tv or play video games. The outside also had great places to hang out. We used the large 2nd floor porch every night and used the table for puzzle. The deck off the kitchen is was a nightly spot for cocktails and the lower level porch with the swing was a great place to take a afternoon nap. The layout was great for us. The home provided spaces to hang out as a group and places to escape and be by yourself.

This house is very charming. The location is nice, just a block and a half from the beach. The kitchen is well stocked, the furniture very nice. The pool area is lovely. We enjoyed the layout of the home with 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs, it worked out perfect for the adult children and grand children There was the screened in porch upstairs with the big table that we used for dinner each evening then played games after dinner, the space was perfect. Downstairs on the lower level screen porch was a large swing which worked perfect to rock toddlers to sleep. overall it is a great home and we felt happy to get to borrow it for one short week
There was one problem. The downstairs toilet was not working. The rental company sent out professionals to work on the septic system but that was only a short term fix. The rental company was aware of the problem not being solved when we left and I'm sure are working to resolve it.

My family and I loved the house. It was just recently remodeled and very well decorated. We loved the location-a very short walk to the beach and the pool was wonderful & much bigger than I would have thought it would be. Someone would come and clean & check the pool. The only thing I can say is that someone at sometime had a cat or dog in the house & there was hair in the carpet. I did report it & hopefully it will be taken care of and the grill needed new grates. But those 2 things would not keep me from renting the house again or recommending to other family & friends.

The beach house was very clean and had a nice big kitchen for all of us to feel comfortable eating and socializing in. The screened in front porches were great too and one of our favorite hang outs. The pool was clean and had many nice chairs around it to relax on. The showers had good water pressure and the beds were comfortable. No one slept on the bunk beds so I don't know how they were. There are 3 big televisions which worked great. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay and we would definitely rent this house again.

Linens are included. There will be enough linens provided for the sleeping capacity of the unit (in this case, 12). Initial linen sets consist of sheets and pillowcases in the appropriate quantities and sizes for your rental property, plus one bath towel, one hand towel, and one washcloth per person. Does the lower level still require a dehumidifier? does it smell musty?

Answer:

The owners have placed a dehumidifier in the lower level that runs non-stop. This is a common practice in homes, particularly beach homes, in a humid environment such as ours.

If the AC is not running and it is hot/humid outside, you can sometimes smell the property's waterproofing. Most guests/staff are not bothered by it but those who are particularly sensitive to smells may notice it. We have had this property checked for any mold/mildew and it has been confirmed that there is none and it is the waterproofing material that has an occasional smell. To help alleviate this, the property's owner has made oil diffusers available throughout the home, should you want them.
