The location and "bones" of the house on the beach were fantastic. The wrap around porch was phenomenal overlooking the pool and Atlantic ocean. The upstairs bedrooms and first floor living area and kitchen met our expectations.
However, as with other reviews, the first floor bedrooms could have been more welcoming especially the bedroom facing the ocean. The floor baseboards needed a good suction cleaning as well as fresh bed pillows. A bedroom bureau had a drawer completely off track, curtains (not the right size for the windows) were not on track and some of the curtain was dangling below while still attached to the hooks. That bedroom needs a serious upgrade with attention to detail, the bedroom does not meet expectations for the price of the rental week.
Also, garbage containers were overflowing from past guests and garbage pick up was two days away.
Our family would stay again at this wonderful house if the above negatives were resolved.

It was great being right on the beach in a private area of the beach. The pool was perfect with the warm hot tub and swim up bar. The children thought that was fun. And we loved being so close to town, the bridge and the grocery store. It is the perfect location on the island. An added feature was the extra ice maker. We never ran out of ice.
We also took advantage of the discounts offered by Island Realty for Eco Barrier Island Tours and rentals and were pleased with both of those companies.

Over all this property is excellent with a few problems. The AC in the front left bedroom does not come up through the vent, although the bathroom is good. The downstairs oceanside bedroom, the ceiling fan can not be turned on without the light also being on.

The house is lovely, with great bones (surprising sound insulation between rooms) and a ton of Southern charm. Plenty of room for three generations of family ranging from 13 to 75 to spend time together (and apart) over a week. Pool is outstanding, a huge plus. Kitchen is well stocked and the home is beautiful and comfortably luxe,though in need of some TLC touch-ups (as you would expect in a rental).

Also, a shout-out to the Island Realty concierge desk, which was awesome throughout.

Location! Location! A beautiful view and ocean breezes made this trip wonderful for our extended family of 9, 7 adults and 2 kids. The outside porches and pool were great places to relax and to play. We had a very short walk to the beach too. The house was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. My only complaint was that the furnishings and bedding were heavy and more suited to a house in the mountains rather than at a beach. Heavy area rugs and dark and heavy bedspreads and curtains seemed to be out of place.

Super house! There was plenty of room for our families to get together and have plenty of space for "space" from each other when needed. Kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the hot tub in the chilly days of December. Great Christmas getaway!

We had 14 people, six were age six and under. Everyone enjoyed the accommodations and the little ones loved the pool. It was perfect for all ages!
Several reviews stated that bedding could be upgraded to something more beachy; I concur. We also wished for a second refrigerator, perhaps on the pool deck. All together, the house is perfect for many couples to have their own " sanctuary" away from the chaos of the house. It is well equipped and clean. I recommend this property

Overall, our stay at 702 was very good. The location and set-up of the property is great.
The only complaint that any in our party had, was that the mattress in the downstairs, front left (facing the stairs) bedroom is in need of replacement.
We have already booked for next year and are looking forward to our return.

The house and location were excellent for our large family. The kids loved the pool and the bunk bed room. The adults loved being close to the beach and the wonderful covered porch. It was nice to be able to look at the ocean and not have to always be in the sun. Hope to return next year to the Isle of Palms area.

Really enjoyed the week st this house with our whole family. The house is great for small kids. The pool is awesome & lots of outside toys. Everything worked great in the house & it is well-maintained. It was very clean. Also in a great location. The only suggestion I would have would be to purchase a better vacuum cleaner. The one in the house was not working properly. Also, maybe an update on the bedroom comforters & drapes making them a little more beach-looking & cheerful. These were minor negatives that would not change my opinion of the house. The reason for my 3 stars is for the check-in process. We arrived at 3:45to check-in where I waited in line 10 min to check-in. When I got to the desk, I was told the house was not ready! What?? Check-in time is 4:00. It would have been after 4:00 before we got to the house & got to the door from that time! Did not understand that at all. However, I ask to speak to a manager & she quickly & graciously said, it was ready. Maybe Island Realty needs to be a little more coordinated on check-in days & times. Check-out was a breeze!

Great location, easy access to beach (very close making it easy for grandparents) and dinning. Enjoyed the outdoor covered porch, a nice break from the sun. Bedrooms were good sizes for the most part. The outside steps leading into the front door had a serious tripping hazard as one step on the lower level steps (right side facing the house),appeared to have been repaired. However, when the step was repaired it was not done correctly. The one step is steeper than the others (you can actually see where the repair was made). Several people tripped going up and down the steps. Since the steps blend in together it is not visually easy to see the abnormal step. This should be repaired asap. Home has a nice layout, although some updates should be considered, including a few of the mattresses. Outstanding view of the ocean.

Our family totally enjoyed ourselves. The kids were in constant motion between the pool and beach. The large covered deck was a great gathering place with shade for the afternoon. Requested extra towels and pool maintainence once and company responded within a couple of hours. Well appointed kitchen and lots of space for all of us.

Our family of 13 people had a great time at 702 Ocean Blvd. The house was beautiful, clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Beds were very comfortable. We had one minor issue with the pool being too hot (it was like bath water), but it was quickly resolved by the owner, who switched the spa from "heat" to "cool" and gave us a "cold tub" to use when the sun made the pool too hot (it was a really hot week). It's evident that the owner really wants his guests to be comfortable, and the Island Realty staff was also friendly and helpful. We would definitely return to this property if we come with a group this big in the future.

This was the perfect house for our family. The pool was perfect -- and the ocean just steps away. This was the most equipped kitchen we have ever had in a rental property. The management company was quick to step in with minor service needs as well. Will definitely try to stay here again!

Great house great location.
Noise became a problem last night as 20 frat boys descended on the house next door
Police were called but noise was out of control and continued until our departure.
This was a rental right next door to us that your company rented out or it was the owners kids. Either way bad ending to great week.
